I purchased the queen chair/bed on 5/8/2022. It was delivered on 5/17/2022. I then opened the package and let the bed rest open, fluffing it per company instructions, until we had a guest arrive who would be using the bed on 6/24/2022. We ordered it early to ensure enough time for it to arrive and fluff properly. Our guest stated on the first night that the bed was uncomfortable, that he was essentially sleeping on the floor. We tried re-fluffing, flipping and even placing the bed on top of an air mattress, all of which ended with the guest feeling as though he was sleeping on the floor. When I contacted the company to request a refund, I was told I was outside the 30 day window, which they measured from the date of purchase, and then amended to the delivery date. I pushed back, stating that the product did not deliver on advertised promises and requested a refund. Instead, the company sent me very details instructions on how to request free additional stuffing to make the bed more comfortable. This is problematic, first because the bed will then not fold back into the chair if additional stuffing is added, making this a completely different product than originally intended via purchase. Secondly, these prepared instructions tell consumers this is a KNOWN problem with their product. This response, while polite and helpful, is totally disingenuous.
