About April 1st, 2022, my husband and I booked this venue for my 10 year vow renewal. A part of their services was to assist with coordinating the vow renewal. When we booked the space, we informed them we were traveling from out of town and would be in ***************, ** on the 21st of July, which is a Thursday. The rep we spoke with informed us they usually do rehearsals on Wednesdays but since we were not arriving until Thursday the coordinator would contact us to schedule the rehearsal. Fast forward to today, after never receiving a call from the coordinator, we contacted the venue to ask when would they schedule the rehearsal. We were then informed they only do rehearsals on Wednesday and they would not be able to accommodate us. We were then put in contact with the owner of that venue who rudely relayed that same information to us and stated they consistently have to move schedules around and would not be doing so in this instance. He was so rude, would not let us speak and as I was talking stated he would past the phone to his assistant to further talk with us. He refused to listen to us, he refused to assist us, and was so incredibly rude to us over the phone. I called the corporate office of the Crystal Ballroom to file a complaint with them as well. I will not continue to do business with a company who would treat its clients so rude. To be so dismissive and act as if we did not pay for services from that company. The only thing Crystal Ballroom on Lake Melva could do for me now is give me a refund. I would never do business with any branch of this company and I would never refer them to anyone else!
