    I booked a jet ski rental with a separate company, but they overbooked me and I couldn't go. I paid Take My Boat Test through a link sent by the Jet Ski rental company. I paid approximately $10 for 2 licenses each. One was under my name and the other was under the name of my brother, Rohan *****. Take My Boat Test clearly writes a refund policy saying they will return the money. I reached out to them and they said they can not refund me, which is odd because the money was paid to them. In a separate BBB complaint about the Jet Ski rental company, I was told Take My Boat Test has to refund me the $20 I spent on licenses. I called Take My Boat Test multiple times and they have given no valid response. I did not end up using these licenses because my Jet Ski booking didn't happen. The Certificate number was: TMB-1722612262-277-31128. Rhonda Eakins from BBB handled my other complaint and she told me to send this one against Take My Boat Test LLC since they are the ones responsible for the refund. I paid the company for a certificate I didn't use so I need the money back. It was not even more than 24 hours when I called Take My Boat Test that I will need a refund for this. They said they will talk to their team and get back. Later on they again kept replying with statements contradicting their refund policy.

    Thank you for the opportunity to address the concerns raised by Milind *****. We value our customers and take their feedback seriously.


    On 8/2/24, Milind ***** purchased a boater’s safety test from our company, Take My Boat Test, to obtain the necessary certification for operating a boat or jet ski in Florida. She successfully completed the test, and we issued her a safety certificate valid for 90 days. Upon issuance, the certificate information is submitted to the State of Florida’s database, and we incur a fee for this service.


    We understand that due to unforeseen circumstances, Milind ***** was unable to proceed with her rental from Wet Rentals. While we are a separate entity from Wet Rentals and were not involved in the rental transaction, we sympathize with her situation.


    In the interest of customer satisfaction, we have issued a full refund to Milind *****, despite having provided the service and incurring the associated costs with the state. We hope this resolves the matter to her satisfaction.


    We are committed to providing excellent service to all our customers and appreciate the opportunity to clarify this situation. Please let us know if you require any further information.

    There were 2 of us that day, Rohan ***** still needs a refund. He has sent an individual email himself (as per Steve’s request). 

    Also I expect to be addressed properly. I am a biological male since birth and my pronouns are he/him. 

    Still waiting refund for Rohan *****.
