Had annual service and noticeable difference where water is not as soft and not sure if even working because salt level not going down. Have tried multiple times to submit this on Entek website and call to no avail. Desire for somebody to come out and fix even if costs extra after having annual service trying to maintain and not break the system.Business Response

We had our machine serviced about 2 months ago. The machine never functioned correctly after the service. My husband and I both called and left multiple messages with the after hours line (due to work schedules this was the only time we were able to call). Finally after speaking with the office they state they will not come and assess the problem and repair until we pay the balance of the prior repair even though that visit didnt fix the problem! They claim it worked fine when their tech was here.well it might have but that night when it went to process it didnt not so now here we are! ******** company, wouldnt recommend! We purchase a water system from Entek on 5/24/2023, it includes a 5year warranty. Our system stopped working, I called on 10/19/2024 and left a message, I called again on 10/24/2024 and again left a message. On 10/25/2025 I received a phone call from Entek stating they are overwhelmed with calls and service requested that they would call back to get me scheduled to service our water system. I called again today to find out our status and was told very rudely that they can not accommodate me at this time. I was asked to be scheduled for a service call and was denied again. It seems this systems are made poorly and once they have your money they no longer want to deal with you. Be warned not to fall victim to their unethical business practices.Business Response

Entek water softener systems. My water softener has broken down and stopped working a total of 15 times in 2 years. They have put in a new unit and it still breaks down every 3-4 months. I had another water softner Service look at my unit and they said its a$400 unit they charged my wife $7000 for. And it breaks down every 3-4 months and cost $250 each time to fix.Business Response

Our records show you have had a total of 4 service visits. Unfortunately things do happen to mechanical appliances which is why 3 were covered under your warranty and you were charged $0. I just moved to ******* recently and received a letter in the mail to have water testing at my house in exchange for a $100 gift card. A tech came to my house at the end of July and did the water testing and was here for an hour and ****************************************** the prices, she said I would receive the gift card via mail within 5 days. I did not receive the gift card and called the company. They gave me another number to call to check on the status of the gift card. I have called at least 6 times this month and each time they say a manager will call me back. A manager has not called me back. I asked to speak with the manager and they said the manager doesn't take phone calls that they only call people back. I feel like this company is a scam and would like to receive my gift card. So I financed a water softener from Entek back in 2018. They explained to me I would have a lifetime warranty. However when my water softener is not working and I asked them come troubleshoot to see it. They have not reached back out to me after numerous emails and voicemails. I just want it fixed. Purchased a water filtration system and Im not sure how long its been working correctly. Went to put salt in the brine tank and it was totally dead. Its November and this was fully serviced in August when something was leaking and water ran for several days from the system onto my front yard while we were away. Calling them is pretty much useless because the secretary wont answer the phone 9/10 times. When she does answer she wont schedule a service now and sends me to leave someone a voice mail. In August to get someone to come out I ended up calling 2 other employees that left the business for poor business. I paid thousands of dollars for this and just want it to work.Business Response

On 9/30/23 we purchased the water softener and a few days later was installed. However they left the water discharge line in the yard and this salty water has killed my grass and is contaminating the city's drinking water. I called a month ago and they said that they will come out and connect the tubing to the house plumbing discharge line with an air gap but one month later I am still waiting. I called back last week and the secretary **** the phone on me . ***** the manager won't return my calls. They were quick to sell me a product and now they refuse to finish the job right. I will get a fine from the county if this issue is not resolve soon.they also refuse to come out and test my water. I call this senior abuse.Business Response

Which is why your complaint should be with *****************, not the manufacturer (Entek). Your complaint is also invalid because you are the one that pulled the drain (which was properly installed). I am attaching the actual installation pictures showing no drain laying on the ground. I purchased an Entek water Softner/purifier 1.5 yr ago. My husband just went to fill salt and noticed the unit was completely dead. I placed 4 calls to the company over 3 days. Finally today I get a call back and the lady said it will cost me $150 for them to come out. Non- refundable. She said it might be the battery the sales man said the solar panel will charge it and you wont have to touch it for 10 hrs!!I feel this company is just a rip off. I called them out before as I literally feel zero different in the softness of water and still have water stain etc on shower door. He told me to spray with vinegar to clean. SMH.Business Response

Last year around July 2022 I Purchased a water softener system from Entek.. I was made false promises I was told that I would receive soaps for up to six years or $7074 worth which ever one came first I placed two orders for soap totaling a couple hundred bucks and thats it. No longer allowed to place any more orders not to mention my machine didnt work for almost an entire year and I couldnt contact anyone the person who sold it to me call me condescending and a scammer and told me to contact the **** number which I tried and could not get a hold of anyone until last month. I finally got my equipment fixed, but was told that the salesman did nothing wrong and I spent my points how I spent my points on soap and basically I have to deal with it. I showed them text messages from the salesman calling me a scammer and condescending being extremely rude and nasty and the promises that the salesman made to me for the soaps I did not spend $7074 on soaps I was never told that I only had a certain amount of points to spend. This place is full of scammers. I had to use the soap I ordered on hard water because my equipment wasnt working so I basically did not get the full use out of the soap that I did order. Its ridiculous. Its like once they sell something to you youre just another dummy they got money from I pay full price for my water softener system, I didnt make payments on it thats why the seller was initially upset because I told him I did not trust him with my Social Security number so I paid for the equipment in full worst mistake of my life because I could not get a hold of anyone to come fix it. The person who installed it, installed it wrong. They do anything to sell an item to you. They will tell you many lies.Business Response
