      We sold the customer the vehicle on October 12th, 2024. Before the deal was finalized, and any paperwork was signed the customer had an opportunity like all customers to *************************** the vehicle. We also allow the customer to bring the vehicle to any mechanic for an inspection before the customer takes possession of the vehicle. The client purchased the vehicle with full understanding the vehicle had a rebuilt title. We ensure each client signs an acknowledgment form, in which they agree they were properly informed of any title branding. Once the deal was finalized and mentioned acknowledgment was signed, the client confirmed with their Lender that they were aware the vehicle had a rebuilt title. The client also opted-out of a warranty, making the deal AS IS. Within a few days of the point of sale, the client brought to our teams' attention the vehicle had mechanical issues. When this happens, we follow protocol of first diagnosing the vehicle after conducting a throughout inspection. During this time, we discussed every step of the way with the customer. Although it is not our typical approach, we understood the work we deemed necessary would take a while, and we offered the client a vehicle to drive in the meantime as a courtesy. The customer declined our offer and was at that point regretful. We came to the conclusion that we could offer to the customer repairs, not expecting any payment for the parts nor the labor (Which exceed $4,000). We ordered the parts needed immediately and have had our team of knowledgeable Mechanics installing the parts and completing the necessary work. Now, while the vehicle is being worked on (and customer being notified of each step and update) the customer is demanding a refund of the deposit, and cancellation of the deal. We urge the customer to read his paperwork and pay close attention to the document he signed opting-out of our aftermarket warranty, and the documents that state all deposits are non-refundable. We ask the customer to understand we are completing the work to the best of our abilities at NO COST to him, as fast as we can- as we will not be offering any refund.

      I am rejecting this response because: first of all thank so much for trying to contact me and help me with this fraud situation ,as i explain i have proof from the person who sold me the car were i send him a text to ask him why he

      did not explain to me that this car was in total lost status and it have salvage and rebuild title as well and i have never bought a car in my entire life hood and I'm young men who i was  raise up in life   with the best moral standards

      this people lie to me from left to right and is even worse i check ****** reviews and its scary a lots of people complaining for similar situations as mind  so i can not agreed to their statement bc its all full of lies i will try to send you proof of my texts with this horrible peoples  its unbelievable that the state allow dealer to become monsters of laying and robing good citizen

      all i asking respectfully to have my down payment money($1000) and to be clear from ******************************; of any Owings  i have write to them the finance company west lake did not have respond from them there is a lot to be explain about this horrible car dealer that i probably wont have enough life time to explain that's how bad they are ,i try to contact them couple days ago and they say horrible bad words to me and told me bc i contact BBB they don't want to see my face around  its bad that this people are not honest at all ,on the top of that i lost my job bc did not have transportation till now they have not repair the yet honestly i do not ever want to deal with people like the all I'm asking is my down payment and to be free of any obligation with west lake finance that all ,please i know you have to decide according to proof   they did not give any papers or nothing explaining this cars was a total lost before never used the car bc went bad next day ,so THANK YOU FOR YOUR GOOD SPIRIT TO HELP ME AND TRY TO RESOLVE THIS FRAUD CASE AS PER YOU SEE IT FEET AS TRUST I DO HAVE TRUST IN BBB BC OF THE TRAYECTORY GOOD REPUTATION AND GREAT ORGANIZATION FULL OF HONEST PEOPLE

      My daughter bought a 2019 A-Class ************* car but it has not installed the radio and the mirror blind point,they agreed to install it,but then the car in just a few days start to have some issues with the ( *** )my daughter had an issue in the traffic because the car slowed down the rpm .Today my daughter try to talk and explain everything but she hung up,and she said she going to send someone to pick up the car,and my daughter ask for the down payment refund and she didnt want to talk about it and hung up.

      Unfortunately, the radio needed a part we had to wait for delivery on, and now since Hurricane ****** we have been a bit behind on work due to two-day closure of our business and the day prior to the closure being spent securing our property in preparation for the storm. We do have the vehicle in our possession and are actively working on the repairs. We have been in constant communication with the client and are doing our best to ensure her satisfaction. All of our mechanic maintenance and repairs are done as timely as possible. Always to the point of proper completion, unfortunately this means we do not rush any mechanic work for the safety of our customers and integrity of our company. We urge the customer to have patience and know that we are doing the best job we can, in a timely manner.

      I am rejecting this response because:They still unresponsive & unprofessional,my daughter still in possession of the car,I dont know if they are telling the truth because days keep going and this issue still unresolved,and my daughter the customer still unsatisfied,stressful and waiting for them to get this done in the meantime they will be acting the same way.and even this is affecting my daughter school.When all this deal started they looked trustworthy and they made a lot of promises to her but after she bought that car the issue started.We hope you help us if you cant this will be like most of the time the big fish eat the small ******* they will be unconsciously and keep going like nothing happens.

This makes things a bit more complicated, and ofcourse because of the storms as well we and other businesses like our mechanics are delayed. We have the part installed, and are awaiting programming/configuration.

      I financed a 2004 Lexus es330 for the total amount of $8,000. I gave them a deposit of ***** plus paid $680 to insure the car on the 20th day of February. I went into the dealership after 40 days to make my payment and they told me the vehicle has a lien they will give me 4 30 day temp tags. When legally a vehicle is allowed 2 30 day temporary tags. I found the last owner of the vehicle which is a tow truck company and they told me the vehicle was supposed to be scrapped 2 years ago. The owner refused me of a refund and proceeded to be rude and degrading. I am a mobile mechanic who has lost a lot wages due to not being able to provide transportation. They are holding something they do not own.

      We have guaranteed to fix the Air conditioning; but the client is not willing to wait for an appointment. We sympathize with the issues, but are well aware as is the client- this was an issue not in any way caused by underlying mechanical issues. The wrong type of fuel was put into the Gas tank of the truck. We can not fix an issue that was caused by the client. Anything beyond that, must be done through our ***************** which has a process for any claims. We are happy to assist with the warranty process for the Air Conditioning, but need patience and cooperation on the clients end

      Bought this Titan from max drive auto sales 9-8-2023 through ***** and max ********************** auto never said anything about major frame damage to ****** Titan.that I bought from them, major body damage, and broken windshield, bald tires , radiator not connected to truck , broken axle , headlight dont work, missing computer sensors , truck runs rough, and when I called them about 22 times they didnt answer, or the 3 times they did answer they just told me ******* is AS IS state . But they completely and falsely did auto fraud , and they took pictures that I couldnt see the damage , ******** and **** should completely and utterly never should sale another car or truck to anyone ever again , this is so ridiculous. I have been dealing with this for 2 months and still dont have anything fixed . **** even tried to get max auto drive to take back the ****** Titan, and they wont do it . Never trust these crooks !!!! Should be put in prison or at least take away their dealers license.

      This vehicle was indeed purchased through **** which has a very strict policy regarding sales facilitated through their website.  If they believe there was something wrong, they would not have backed out the sale.  They are still our partner to this day.  The consumer is correct that ******* is an AS-IS state for pre-owned vehicles.  Our cars are available for physical inspection for over 80 hours a week, including the weekend.  Furthermore, we allow and expect out of state consumers to have inspections done on the vehicles before purchase.  This is available from a number of sources, both nationwide and local.  Most out of state customers will not finalize the deal without using the wealth of technology available today to see all around and under the truck.  We encourage all of these consumer-focused actions to be taken.  There are a number of reporting requirements for both the state and the *** and they were all followed in this purchase.  The truck was considerably cheaper than it should have been and at no point was the condition hidden.  The truck was parked on the lot for any customer to come see.

      on March 19, 2023, I *************************** Visited the dealer to purchase a vehicle I picked a Mustang and was told that I needed to leave a deposit of 200 dollars so the car would not be sold. My Zelle did not go through and was under review. I was told they needed 200 so I paid the 200 and ***** went through on Monday and paid the dealership an additional $200.00 I had credit issues and was told the bank did not want to lend me the car for the mustang, that I had to pick another car for less value and see what happened. I agreed and they said OK you can have the car, but you must pay the **** I said to them i do not agree to pay a higher down payment for a less expensive car. We did not agree, and I asked for my money back. I was told by the salesman to call ******** the sales manager at *********** via text on April 20,2023 - I have contacted via text, cell and in person since and I have been given the round around - does not answer, text or calls or not available when we go.

      The customer had not filled out any sort of credit application at the time the deposit was collected. Upon her return, we were able to get a credit application and determined that she in fact would need a higher down payment due to the fact that she would have needed in house financing. Unfortunelty, all down payments and especially deposits are non refundable as we held the vehicle, diminishing any chances we would have had to sell the unit while the deal was pending. No refund will be issued.

      I visited this location 03/17/23. I was planning on putting $2500 down on a 2020 ****** versa. Upon looking at the car my father noticed an odd sound coming from the motor, almost like a tick. We ask If we can test drive it before making our final decision, we drive the car to the bank so we can withdraw the down payment but the bank was closed and I could only withdraw $800. Once we came back to the dealership I stated that id get them the rest tomorrow, the day after comes and I get the full down payment but were still unsure about the car and since its been less than 24 hours on top of signing no paperwork I decided to explore other options and requested for my money back since the decision was not final, they refused to give the money back and upon hearing that we decided to test drive it one last time in order to see if the car was bad or not, the car had signs of an unhealthy motor, one of those signs being oil sludge, this gave us enough proof that the car was unkempt, also during the test driving the oil was bad and the car was basically running with barely any gas. I never got my money back and now have to file a lawsuit against these guys. This is unfortunate because it seems like others have dealt with their own situations against these guys, no clue how theyre still in business but I send my regards to however had to deal with them.

      Good Morning, I'm writing in response to complaint # ********* 

      The customer came in on the 17th of March and test drove our Vehicle. The customer then came back and gave us an $800.00 down payment. The full down payment amount was for $2500.00 so the customer left the unit with us being that the full total wasn't paid. The very next day, the customer comes in and tells the ************************* he was working with that his mother would not allow him to purchase the vehicle. At that time we explained again to the customer that the down payment was NON refundable and that the $800.00 could only be put towards another unit as we work with every customer to the very best of our ability. The customer then tried to tell us the reason he wanted is money back was because it had a "Bad Carfax report" the sales manager then printed the CLEAN Carfax report. The customer then asked to bring the vehicle to a mechanic which we allowed. While he was in possession of the unit he called the police and had them come down to the location. Being that the customer was in possession of the unit at the time, the police told us we would have to take the customer to court before we would be able to get our unit back. This man absolutely scammed us and now has us out of a vehicle due to his own indecisiveness. The customer is no longer able to put his deposit towards another vehicle being that hes now in possession of our vehicle with no contract. He called this morning on 3/20/2023 saying hes going to have protesters outside of the building, etc. making various threats to not only our business but to our employees.

      I was sold a car that is not dependable and has it used motor I bought it from Max ********************** on ******************** in ***************. They are dishonest and they are not willing to help me resolve this

      Our vehicles are used and sold as-is with the right to inspect. The customer signed the as-is statement. The customer had the opportunity to purchase an extended service agreement through us but declined to purchase. The customer purchased her vehicle using financing through Suncoast who may have sold her their own policy.

      I stopped paying for this vehicle in 09/21 of last year. I told the dealership that this vehicle stopped in ******** and I have not pursued looking for the vehicle. I get a call from a representative threatened me that I am lying about the vehicle. I am without a home, I just got another vehicle. My question if I had the vehicle would I have traded it in instead of keeping it. The State of Virginia has not impounded the vehicle so my only explanation is that someone may have stolen the vehicle for parts. I stopped paying insurance on this awhile back. As my tags were on there and everything.
