I went to the dealership looking for a used car. For reference, I am a 5'5" white woman looking very young for her age. (I am in my 20s.) My guess is they assumed (albeit correctly) that when I showed up by myself, they would be able to take advantage of me. I came looking for a specific cheap car because I was in a tight bind and needed wheels quickly. When I asked about the car, they told me they had it, but someone misplaced the keys that morning. They showed me a few other cars well above my budget by thousands. I made my point that unfortunately I need the cheapest running car they had, without saying in so many words. I found the keys myself on the corkboard later on. Since I found the keys, I was able to take the car for a test drive. The salesman (*****) was old enough to be my father. I mention this because while on the test drive, he asked if I would like to go to dinner, to which I undoubtedly said no. He chuckles slightly and adds that he has two children my age, a daughter in her mid-20s and a son who just turned 20. I don't know how this was supposed to steer the conversation positively, but he left the matter alone when I said he was actually around my dad's age if he had children my age. As far as the car: the paperwork listed ******* miles, while it actually had ******* miles and failed to tell me it was a transport vehicle between their 2 nearby inventory lots. They failed to tell me there was an open recall from 2015 abou the day running lamps. They failed to return the car when I brought my parents and requested reparations after my father told the general manager that he doesn't understand why they sold me a POS. The car was listed on the website for $2,000. That was my down payment after refusing to tell me the real cost until I was sitting down with the paperwork. Six months after financing the car, the timing belt broke, totaling it. I paid a settlement with the lien holder and got rid of the car. I regret doing business with Lee Auto Group.

Complete liars. Agreed on a price in messenger online and then they added $7,000 after test drive despite shaking brakes (minivan) and a salesman breaking the seat lever after the test drive. Worst experience in negotiations of my wife. Didnt even tell us it had been in an accident until we arrived! Absolute clown show waste of ********!!! Would not sell for anywhere near the listed price wanted thousands more not including fees etc. uses fake promotions and pressure. We had to walk out despite cash in hand!

Car was listed originally for $11,000 - Went on sale and was $10,780 - YOU OFFERED $7,500 and then get upset when we don't accept your offer. We sell over 200 cars a month and the first thing you said after driving from the other coast is "this must be a good place to buy a car, you can tell because this place is busy". Yes, our office was busy as it always is and most of the negative comments come from people like yourself that we don't make a deal with because we cannot accept their ridiculous offers. Good luck to you!

They sold me a truck and told me it was in great condition. I noticed a leak once I got home but called then the next morning and they told me to bring it in. They then told me they needed to order parts and would fix it free of charge. They then proceeded to not answer any of my calls and play dumb when I would go there for an update. Now that they have dodged all the calls and it is outside of the lemon law they tell me the truck needs a lot of expensive work. If you check their yelp you can see they have a clear history of selling bad cars. Dodging people until it is too late for the law to help. This is fraud. They have done this to 100s of people. Just check yelp

You purchased the vehicle in May 2023, drove it ****** miles+ and purchased an extended warranty. Your water pump failed and we repaired it which your warranty covered. You brought in parts to fix an oil leak and we told you they would not work properly without changing the valve cover gaskets. We installed them for you anyway and you still had an oil leak - you need to change your valve cover gaskets which will also be covered under warranty.

On June 9th, I paid a down payment of $3000 for a vehicle, in which I received no itemized receipt. The car was false advertised as $14,000. They charged me $15, 995 for the car. *********** said they would terminate the loan with no penalties and Lee Auto Group said they would not return the car. The only option I was given was to purchase another car from the company.

I bought a used vehicle Audi Q7 2015, at the time of purchase the car had a problem, the dealer's seller commented that it was the tires, I bought it and changed the new tires, the car continues with the problem, I took it to the dealer to claim, the seller no longer works with them, the car after 7 weeks, they return it to me supposedly repaired, they charged more than 2k dollars to the insurance and they did nothing to it. I don't know who to turn to because I have everything to lose, if I stop paying the credit is affected by me and I have no one to help me. I feel cheated

BUYER BEWARE BUYER BEWARE!!Please take your money elsewhere. I have contacted the authorities and the BBB, this place is into some sketchy business. They changed the prices of cars, tell you that you need to buy in house GAP insurance at **** bucks or you cant legally take the car. They brought us out a car then said they didnt feel it was safe enough to drive. They tell you that they arent aloud to know any of the prices of the cars, please be careful and check the dotted line because these guys are crooks. I came here with my 3 year old and 7 month old daughter, they changed everything in the contract before signing, of course I should of checked. But with two kids and being at a dealership if thats what they call it for 5 hours I did not. They addd two grand to the car and 5 thousand dollars in taxes. I had a **** dollar trade in on a 15k car and still owe 15k that doesnt seem correct. Even the finance company called and warned me that something was fishy. I was told I had to legally but theyre gap insurance at 949 dollars. They overcharged me **** dollars for the vehicle, the website mysteriously changed the next day. I have screen shots. They didnt even ask for an ID for the trade in, nothing signed. Told me I couldnt take my car back even though it was the very next day. I really hope something does happen, I have 2 kids just wanted a bigger car for them and a honest deal. They told me to basically deal with it, and it just ***** that I probably dont have the money to get a lawyer to get my refund.

Literally everything you stated is completely false. You test drove 10 cars and finally found a 2018 *** with only 57k miles. You traded in a car that we gave you $5,200 for and purchased "optional" GAP insurance which you can cancel anytime. When you left here you couldn't have been happier then once your mother got involved there all of a sudden is an issue. You sign 3 separate forms in addition to a contract and bill of sale that says you understand you are purchasing GAP insurance AND the bank calls you and completes an interview reaffirming the same! We went over the contract with you AND your mother line by line unfortunately she doesn't understand the math. Good luck to you both!

I am rejecting this response because:
I test drove 2 cars? They said 10? They are lying from the start. How can we even start to be honest when they dont tell the truth from the beginning. They have cameras there, please feel free to check. One of the cars they tried to bring out wasnt working correctly, and that it wasnt safe. Very sketchy business just look at the history at the BBB? They have less than 3 stars and a handful of complaints. I have gotten with a lawyer, and everything they say is false. I have screen shots as proof, and as you can tell just by the response this owner is out of his mind. I test drove one car, was forced gap insurance, and was lied to about the price. My only fault is signing without paying attention and trusting a used cars salesmen.
    Sincerely,

You live in a fantasy world. You looked at and drove 2 BMWs, a ****** Rogue, Buick Verano, and multiple Kia's ******** and Sportage). It is unfortunate that once your mother got involved that everything took a turn for the worse. You and your partner were super happy with your purchase and overall experience. You bought a 2018 Kia ******* with only 57k miles for LESS than the book trade in value! Happy Holidays and good luck to you and your *********************.

11/09/2022-$1,000 11/10/2022-$1,000 Lee Auto group committed to me that my tag and registration for the vehicle was included in the payments I made above if I would agree to go ahead and purchase the vehicle because they gave me one price for the vehicle and then turned around and gave me a different and higher price for the purchase of the vehicle. So after I was assured that there was no more money that I had to pay for the tag I was told it was included in the above payments I made now you're telling me that my tag cost $400 to get from them and my temporary tag has expired. And I was told if I didn't have the money now that whenever I was to get the money for it they would wait but they're unwillingly to issue me a second temporary tag until I get the money up for the tag and registration but I was told I didn't have to pay for the tag once it came in that it was all included in the $2,000 that I paid above.Account number:107605276 ***************************** **************

Not only were you told but you sign 4 different forms stating that your tag/title/registration costs were not included in the purchase or down payment. We are sorry that you don't understand and if we could've included it in your loan we most certainly would have. It is a cost (tax) that you have to pay to the *********** as everyone that registers a car does.

I put down $1300 dollars for a Jeep Liberty for my step daughter on September 1st 2022 and ever since have had nothing but problems. The car was advertised for $6000 something dollars but went to over $12,000 and supposedly never included the tag/title fee. The fees are not on the contract that I was provided from the finance company and at the time of purchase never signed or was made aware that we would be charged for it. The dashboard was lit up like a christmas tree with all the lights on. We called and brought the vehicle down to them and not even 12 hours later they called and said the vehicle was ready. My step daughter went and picked up the vehicle and was not provided a list of what they claimed they had fixed. When asked by myself what was fixed I was told I need to speak to the manager. I have been calling them and waiting for the manager to call with no luck they are avoiding us. As soon as the vehicle was back home conveniently ALL the lights came back on so all they did was turn off the sensors temporarily so they looked like they fixed something. Today is October 30th and I have yet to have a chat or a sit down with the manager and the car is dead on the side of the road with a paper from autozone about what the diagnostics stated was wrong with the vehicle. I now have to pay for a vehicle that is twice the amount of what its supposed to be plus the value from ****** blue book is only $1600 dollars. If I have to I will go try to find a lawyer and fight to get the loan taken away and give this place back their broken down car. There are so many people that have bad reviews on this company and I got scammed.

    Business Response

    Date: 11/28/2022

The customer does not want to pay for their title/tag/registration which in the **************** for a first time registration is approximately $400. In this instance, the lender would not finance the tag/plate fee. The vehicle was purchased As-Is and the customer also has an extended service contract that should cover any issue. We would love to help them out and remedy any issue they just need to hold up to their end of the bargain as we have paid for the plates for them up front.

    Business Response

    Date: 12/12/2022

As stated before, your title/registration/plate transfer was not included in your purchase. There are 4 separate forms you sign that state and acknowledge specifically that you will owe. When applicable we charge the state fees up front however we could not in your situation. You have an extended service contract that was purchased that should cover and and all lights or other issues you may be having. If you need the assistance of our shop please don't hesitate to reach out. As far as the amount you financed after the purchase price, fees, taxes, extended warranty (ESC), and GAP Insurance, finance charges (amount of interest charged by the lender) it was obviously more than the $6,000 purchase price. Again, if you have any confusion we can go over every item line by line as we do when you purchase the vehicle.

On 5/13/2022 we went looking to buy a diesel truck to start a transport business- all this was disclosed why we were looking for a specific vehicle. Fast forward to august 4,2022 the truck breaks down and needs to be repaired. We had purchased an extended warranty to protect us from an unforeseen problems. Well after the repair shop ran diagnostic tests it was found that the truck had illegally modifications egr and dpf deletes voiding the warranty. These modifications are illegal on a Federal level. We contacted Lee Auto Group and informed them of the situation- ******* the finance manager- claimed they knew nothing of the modifications and would have gave us a different warranty if they knew. He assured us we could find a solution and put us in a different vehicle that was DOT approved. He wouldnt make any transactions until the vehicle was back at the dealership. So after finding more money to get the truck out of the repair shop that wasnt covered by the warranty and towed to the dealership, he failed to mention that he would be off work the following day. Then supposedly he was sick for 3-4 weeks. We have been waiting for almost 5 weeks now for some type of resolution to this problem. No one in the building at the dealership is willing to give any answers including the owner. At this point I want NOTHING to do with this corrupt business and want to return the vehicle with my money back. We have lost hundreds of dollars due to lost wages and rental vehicles waiting for answers from this fraudulent dealership.

Customer put ***** miles on the vehicle and blew up a turbo then wanted us to fix it for free. We offered to do it at cost and the lies started. Good luck to you!
