  I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Tomas and the team at U First Health. I’m currently recovering from my second inguinal hernia surgery, and once again, I couldn’t be more pleased with the care I received.
  We first traveled to Fort Myers, FL in 2022 for a hernia repair on my left side. Within six months, I was lifting heavy in the gym with a full and complete recovery—truly remarkable healing.
  Many of my friends who’ve had mesh repairs have told me they can still feel the mesh even years later. It’s always in the back of their minds to take it easy or be extra cautious. That’s not been my experience at all.
  Three years later, I developed another hernia on my right side. Living in Northern California, we researched several other facilities that perform hernia repairs. After numerous interviews and a lot of research, we decided to make the cross-country trip back to Fort Myers, FL to see Dr. Tomas again—and I’m so glad we did.
  After surgery, Dr. Tomas informed me that the hernia was larger and more complicated than expected, but everything went very well.
  I’m now in my second week of recovery and feeling great—healing quickly and steadily.
  The entire team at U First was warm, welcoming, and incredibly professional. From the front desk to the finance office, the nurses, and of course, Dr. Tomas himself—every single person was compassionate and caring.
  Like I said at the top of this review: I cannot recommend these folks highly enough. Absolutely 5 stars.

  Dr. ******************** was the best choice I could have possibly made to have my bilateral hernias repaired using the Desarda procedure. I talked to several doctors and they all told me that less foreign material in my body, would result in less inflammation. I saw Dr. ******************** and his staff three times for evaluation and to answer my many questions. Without exception, Dr. ******************** gave reinforced my confidence in him and the no-mesh procedure. We are super-lucky that he is right here in ***************! Since the operation, I have virtually fully recovered after 2 weeks!I am on ********* so Dr. ******************** performed the procedure at Colonial Surgery Center in *************** vs. his in-house surgical facility. The staff and anesthesiologist were all great. They are a very caring and professional bunch!Dr. ******************** has a great office staff. ***** seamlessly took me through the business process and the PA gave me a lot of great information and confidence.All in all, Dr. ******************** provides a great service that more people should know about!

  Words cannot express how amazed I was with my experience at UFirstHeath. All of the staff, nurses, doctors and surgeons were top notch. I felt like a part of the family from my first consultation. The surgery and recovery process was a breeze and I have never felt better!

  My experience with Dr ******************** was first class! I had a large iniguinal hernia and as a physician, I did not want a repair with a mesh Dr ******************** was compassionate and skilled. The facility and staff are excellent! The repair was complicated but he did a fantastic repair! At 4 weeks I am still healing but with minimal discomfort. I would definitely use Dr ******************** again if needed. I highly recommend Dr ******************** both as a patient and a physician. Thank you Dr ******************** and staff!

  One of the BEST decisions I ever made was scheduling my Umbilical Hernia operation with U First Health and Rejuvenation. My first contact was an email I sent to them After Hours on a Friday evening May 3rd. requestion information and on Monday morning May 6th. at 7:10 AM Houston Time I received an email from BJ with information to give her a call to discuss my situation and so I called her immediately and sent her some pictures addressing my concerns and they concurred that I indeed have a naval hernia at which time I asked how Soon could they get me in for the operation, now granted I'm in Houston Texas and they are located in Ft. Myers Florida and she tells me I can see Dr. ***** on Tuesday May 7th and have the procedure performed on Wednesday May 8th. have a follow up visit with Dr. Tomas on May 9th to make sure everything is healing properly and be back on my way home to Texas on May 10th. I couldn't believe it, I told BJ lets get it Booked...I was so happy just knowing that after exhausting all my options to get the procedure done here in Houston which left me with only the MESH Option which I didn't really want no part of after finding U First in Florida. I was so Shocked that they could see me so Quickly and the Level of professionalism and knowledge and qualifications of the staff made me feel so confident in the decision to Fly out to Ft Meyers for the "No Mesh" procedure. I can't say enough about Their Facility (AWESOME) their Staff (SUPER FRIENDLY) and Dr. Robert ***** (THE BEST IN HERNIA REPAIR) I wouldn't wish a Hernia for anyone But If I ever get another one Heaven Forbid, I can Guarantee You it will be Dr. ***** who will be repairing it. I can say "With 100% Confidence " I recommend U First Health and Rejuvenation to anyone suffering from any type of Hernia, you won't regret it. Clayton......Houston Texas 7-22-24

  I can't express enough how greatful I am to U First Health and especially to Doctor Thomas for how They all helped me go through my Hernia repair surgery, with no pain and being treated so well by all the staff at the clinic. I would reccomend Dr. ****** and U First Health to anyone that needs a hernia repaired. You can be confident you are in good hands with these wonderful, prophesional people.   I'd like to thank Dr ******************** for my successful no-mesh hernia surgery. Dr ******************** is an exceptional surgeon who genuinely cares about his patients. His bedside manner is warm and reassuring. Dr ******************** took time to answer all my questions and address my concerns.I was extremely impressed with Dr ******************** professionalism and expertise during my recent no-mesh hernia surgery.   Thank you for all your help, staff, and Dr. ********************* UFirstHealth did me great. The staff treated me with great respect and I hope I did the same. Now on to recovery. I would highly recommend UFirst for anyone that has a hernia. Process from start to finish was smooth and non stressful. Thx again.
