Some of the solar panel brackets have come off. Reached out to Xando but received no response. Went to their office location and learned that they have gone out of business. I would like to see a 50% refund of the amount paid for this system as we are not going to be able to get any service or repairs making the system useless when it quits working.Initial Complaint

I have attempted to contact the Xando @ ************ numerous times with no answer. We had solar panels come off during hurricane ****** and need them reinstalled. As of now the phone number is disconnected. I have texted the Project Manager and received no response back. My husband drove out to the company and said the doors were locked and no one is there. At this point we do not know what to do. We are still making our monthly payments for these panels are now receiving a higher electric bill from LCEC due to the shortage of connected panels. We have an agreement with this company and they are failing to follow through with it.Initial Complaint

December of 2020 I signed a deal with Xando to install solar panels on my roof. They assured me that the solar system would completely cover all of my energy cost and I would not lose power during hurricanes or power outages. All of this was to be covered under warranty for ***** years.I am almost 70% reliant on the ********* grid because my solar system does not provide enough power cover the little energy my family uses. Also I have lost power every time there has been an outage. This company obviously hired salespeople who blatantly lie to close deals.Recently I have been trying to get in touch with Xando to talk about how the system is under performing and there was some minor damage to a structure railing the panels sit on. I have reached out to the company 20+ times over the last 2 months via email, call, and in person. When you call their phone number, the number says it has not been set up yet and neighboring businesses say they have not seen anyone go in there in months.I am just trying to take advantage of the warranty I was promised. This company has been incredibly frustrating to work with after they had my money for the project.Initial Complaint

The phone number listed on all media is ************. This number is disconnected. On the permit plans, the phone number ************ is listed and also disconnected. I have emailed and I am hoping for a response. I have damage from the hurricane and need to schedule the panels to be removed and re-installed. I have a 5 year agreement for cost free removal and installation with Xando. I also need to obtain proof of ownership for the insurance company. As far as I can tell, this company is not bankrupt or closed. I need help contacting them.Initial Complaint

Xando energy installed solar panels. The roof is currently leaking where the solar panel wire box was installed. On 8/29/24 a Xando representative by the name of ***** sent someone out to check the area of the leak. The roofer said the box that encases the wires for the solar panels was not properly sealed. He said he would seal the box. Less than a week later the roof is leaking from the same area. When you call the listed phone number for Xando ************ it does not work. I have also sent emails to the listed email address ************************************ and reached out to ***** at ************. No one responds via email or phone. There has been no response for over a month.Initial Complaint

Around July of 2023 a salesman for Solar panels, stop by my residence ***************************************. During this time he sat and started to explain the contract. He gave me a price. I then told him it was too high. He then asked what I wanted to spend. I told him that the most that I wanted to spend was a couple hundred. He then made a call, and talked to someone a few minutes. He then asked if $208.09 a month was OK. I stated that was fine, as I would be paying around $50.00 a month to FPL. He then had me signed the contract. I asked if the bill would go up?He stated No. Shortly later, he left my residents. Upon leaving my residents, he (salesman) didnt leave me a copy of the sales contract. I thought he would mail me a copy. I didnt receive a copy of contract. In September, I received a bill for $296.80 a month plus the FP&L bill. I dont know if this was on purpose or not. I then contacted the **************************. I was told to contact Xando Energy. Ive tried numerous times to contact them ( phone # ************). Ive been unable to contact them.Initial Complaint

XANDO offered us a Solar install in Nov. 2021 with a lot of promises. We told them we better wait for solar install because in the next 5 years we would like to reroof. To get the job they offered us a Solar Removal and Re-Install Warranty and got the job. In March 2024 we ask them for Re-Roofing and we got an estimate we would accept. We have not heard anything for 3 month. After that we got a new Estimate plus $7.500 for taking off and re-install the panels. In our last phone call ****** ******* told me they are not able to fulfill a contract. I have heard now they let go all of their staff except 2 people They are not going to be able to perform any work. To Remove and Re-Install the existing panels is now an additional cost on us what we do not accept.
