      This business is scamming customers by holding their vehicles longer once payment is made to the bank and the bank tell them to release the vehicle to the customer. They are creating excessive amount of charges to the customers which makes it difficult for a person to recover their vehicle. If you ask them for a break down of their charges they will not provide you with the information. How can a business be allowed to operate like this in the United Stated of America? Something really need to be done about this because this is unethical practices toward our society of people. Today I was assaulted verbally and physically all because i wanted to know what i was being charged for and a breakdown of the charges. I have the recording of the situation. I would love for BBB to step in and help dissolve this matter please

      Breakdown of fees were explained over the phone, claimant decided to show up at our yard and verbally and physically abused our staff ( we do have footage) law enforcement had to be called to remover her. After carefully reviewing the account she's not the owner of the unit.

      I am writing to address serious misconduct on the part of your towing and storage facility following the repossession of my vehicle.On the same day my vehicle was repossessed, I paid the full reinstatement fees to the finance company and immediately contacted your office to arrange vehicle retrieval. To my shock, your facility refused to release the vehicle and informed me i would be forced to wait until Thursday, despite it being Monday. This unnecessary delay caused three additional days of storage charges, which your company knowingly imposed while withholding my vehicle without valid cause.This practice appears to constitute intentional profiteering and unjust enrichment, which may be in violation of:Florida consumer protection laws (F.S. Chapter 501)Fair debt collection and storage regulations Federal guidelines on post-repossession procedures Additionally, when my mother voiced her concern to your staff about this abusive practice, i was met with rude and dismissive remarks, including everybody has issues, from a customer service representative. Such conduct is not only unprofessional but reflects systemic disregard for consumer rights and dignity.I will like A full refund of storage fees incurred from the unnecessary delay in releasing the vehicle.       We didn't received your release until Tuesday afternoon , there is a process where you pay your financial institution , the release is sent to the forwarding company then it gets to us, then we need to verify the release and make sure the unit is ready for redemption, all  this was explained to you over the phone.

      Per my office employee you called Wednesday with a nasty attitude yelling at her, she scheduled you for the earliest  appointment Thursday the 3rd.

      My vehicle was repossessed and I was in the process of picking it up, all the paperwork had been cleared and I was able to go and pick up my vehicle only to call the towing facility that had it, who told me that it was able to be released to me at this Time, but they only work by appointment and that they did not have an appointment until next Monday, but they were going to charge me every day that they were going to keep it on the lot. I was willing to come and pick it up that same day at that time. To avoid those charges, but they will not let me cause they decided to be appointment Only. They're forcing me to pay extra money to hold my car, which I don't want them to and am willing to pick up and pay the immediate fees to avoid the additional ones scheduled for monday. Just because they don't have an earlier appointment

      Speedie Recovery of South Florida has policies in place that need to be  follow , we work by appointment only because there are many steps that need to be done before we release your unit.

      We need to verify the release, we need to make sure the right paperwork is uploaded in the system we need to make sure the unit is ready and open for you to be picked up.

      We don't charge extra fees, your fees are set

      One of the ladies at the ******** location yelled and cursed at me for explaining someone was selling out the car in the lot because my car was entered into and the property was stolen. All my loose change was stolen which I don't care but I have personal information like SS cards, birth certificates, etc. I called back about 4 times to speak with someone else because she kept cursing me out and not letting me speak and told me to f*** myself and she refused to schedule an appointment. I don't care about the stolen change. I NEED MY DAUGHTER IMPORTANT INFORMATION IN THE CAR. I just want to come search the car again and I'm being refused to get information that can get leak out.

      Company stole $900 cash from my vehicle and were driving it around for joyrides when my vehicle was in their possession.

      After paying in cash ****** we requested a detailed bill to see how they came up with this amount and was told they don't offer detailed bills. We had to wait for the hand written receipt attached. We were told to call our lender and they can explain the third party fee's. After contacting our lender we were told they can not disclose third part fee's. I would like to know what the towing charge was what the storage fee's are. The Car was a Kia **** and from what I have found is the tow for a class A tow in ************** is ****** ***** fee.Max out door storage per day is *****. The fee doesnt start until the next day because the car was taken at appoximatly 11:30 Pm on Thursday August 1st. The company only works M-F from 10-3 and by appointment only. So the earliest we could pick the car up was Tues at 11:20 a.m.The car was settled on Friday at 9:15 a.m.The amount they are charging isn't adding up.

      This towing company fraudulently charged a $400 rekey fee when the key was turned over to them when the towing took place. They charged it to ********** and my financier, Kia ******** who then turned the fee over to me. *** is investigating the company and has also filed a complaint with their fraud department.

      Per my agent condition report there were no keys surrendered at the time of pick-up , we also look inside all our tow trucks, yard storage and key box, we were unable to locate the key.

      My SUV was repossessed on 11/3, I paid and took possession of the vehicle back on 11/6. I called the tow company and explained an animal was climbing all over the truck and somehow was inside my vehicle with tiny footprints left everywhere, they laughed and said thats ***** the lot raccoon I can't do anything about that and also that my front bumper i just paid 800$ to have redone 4-6 months ago from a hit and run accident has a big gash in it, The "manager" got the phone laughing at me and told me use the water to wash my truck and it will clean the foot prints off. And the scratch is my fault to take care of all while she is laughing hollering at me to the point I couldn't even get a word out, I asked her finally what she thought was so funny and her response is because she finds it hilarious when I didn't make my car payment it got towed to her lot and hung up on me, when I called back to ask to speak with someone else the other younger lady in the office answered the phone and then I heard the "manager" in the background tell her to just hang up on me, in which she did. I'm lost what to do here, And didn't expect damage to my vehicle within 2 days on their property and then to laugh at me when I call to resolve the matter?

       We don't have any footage of a Racoon  going inside your car or climbing all over as for the bumper damage we have pictures the time the unit was picked-up and the damage was already there.

      The day you picked up your personal property we drove the unit to the front yard and it sat there until unit was redeemed.

      Debtor left our yard without mentioning any damages to the *** or animal prints inside the unit.

      I am rejecting this response because: You told me flat out on the phone that you were not responsible for the damage to my bumper because my vehicle was already took off the lot, I called before 24 hours were even up. While you laughed and argued on the phone and wouldn't even let me speak two words, And then hung up on me. How else do you approach the situation? Because that was poorly. I wash my truck once a week I know what scratches were there to begin with especially when I just paid to have the bumper repaired and repainted before it came to your tow yard. I don't care about the animal that was all over my vehicle the (water) from my (hose) washed it off, I'm concerned i have damage to my vehicle and you aren't even willing to help repair it. The other ratings for your business stand true, And if your company was actually sincere Do you think my finance company would be not using your business anymore either?

      The company crashed my vehicle while towing it and refuses to give me their insurance information. I brought police to the business and the owner kicked the officer off the property and locked the doors. My vehichle finance company (GM Financial) reached out to them directly and they again refused to give insurance info to file a claim. There is damage to the steel bumper and side panel of my brand new truck, video eveidence of the damages on the business property, and still the owner refuses to accept responsibility and continues to yell profanities when approched about the subject.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      Your information is false. The video is time stamped with gps coordinates showing that my vehicle was parked in your lot with my truck literally touching the red truck that scratched the side of my vehicle. Upon requesting your insurance information, refused to give it to me and refused to give it to my finance company when we called on conference call. I will proceed with legal action to rectify the situation. I am also putting in a petition to have your license revoked due to illegal business practices and unsafe working conditions.
