  We are so blessed that God brought Maddie into our lives last October 2024. I spent time sharing the struggles we had been dealing with. As we kept in close communication through texts, emails, and phone calls, I began to fully feel that we made the best decision to hire Maddie, but all that did matter was that our daughter didn't feel uncomfortable or didn't get untrusting vibes from Maddie. Their first phone call between them was excellent! It took a huge load off me. Maddie has been patient and brought fantastic ideas to the team to help our daughter. Maddie had our daughter fully involved in creating the IEP, explaining what things meant, and explaining that she could ask for other choices, which helped build that trust with our child. Maddie made her feel safe. Our daughter became confident enough to send emails to us, the parents, Maddie, and the case manager, expressing her frustrations at school during the day, and we have been able to support our daughter better. Maddie has been there for me when I had nothing more to give or say. It has been a very long six months of frustration with the school team. There were days that I couldn't speak at meetings due to emotional frustration with the team. I would inform Maddie before the meeting; she was my voice on those hard days!   I wanted to keep my roles as educator and parent separate, which is why I reached out to Education Advocates of America LLC. *****, my advocate, brought clarity, professionalism, and strong advocacy to the process, ensuring my childs needs were fully addressed. Having her by my side made a stressful situation much more manageable. Im grateful for the support and highly recommend Education Advocates of America LLC to any family navigating special education.

  We had our first meeting after hiring *****, and my only regret is not hiring her months ago. Even before the meeting began, we could already see the positive changes she had set in motion. Thanks to her, we met and exceeded all of our goals at todays *** meeting.Parents shouldnt have to go through this process alone. Were not expected to know it all, and thats why having someone like ***** is so valuable. Her experience, patience, and genuine advocacy made all the difference. If youre considering getting an advocate, do it. ***** is truly a blessing.

  Having a child with special needs means as a parent you are constantly having to advocate for them just to navigate everyday life in this world . When it comes to the *** process its probably the most stressful and confusing thing to have to deal with . Our advocate was amazing . She was able to get my son the services he needs at the school and within a very reasonable timeframe . She explains the process and handles all communication with the *** team which made a world of difference compared to the advocate we initially hired .

  My son has an IEP for speech, OT and **** services. While he was already receiving these services when I first spoke to ******, she helped guide me for his annual review and explained to me what to ask, best way handle situation if I wasn't happy with outcomes and also advised when if I had any questions with what was going on with his current IEP- for example, an IEP can't be changed by a provider (suggest a reduction in hours) and should not if I want to keep existing services in place. I am grateful for her guidance and simplifying things so that I could understand the process.

  We have been working with Jamie at Education Advocates of America to assist us in navigating our daughter’s special educational needs for 2 years now, and it has literally been the best thing we could have done for our family.
  Before we worked with Jamie, we felt overwhelmed and uncertain of the future. We had a near impossible time finding resources, information, or guidance on our own. Meetings with school staff felt intimidating, confusing, and dismissive - despite our desire to strongly advocate for our daughter’s needs. We as parents just didn’t have the professional knowledge, skills, or expertise to even know what kinds of supports or accommodations to ask for. All the while - time was ticking by and our developmentally delayed/Autistic/ADHD daughter was falling further behind, having behavioral concerns, etc.
  In the time we have been working with Education Advocates of America, our stress has dwindled and our daughter has absolutely thrived in school. From the very first time Jamie attended an iep meeting with us, we could feel the tide turning. Her knowledge and command of the process is nothing short of impressive. She asked for assessments and evaluations that had not been fully completed, she educated us (parents AND administrators/school staff alike) on options we had no idea were available to us. Options that absolutely directly correlate to how well our daughter is doing now. She is the reason our daughter is thriving. Jamie is responsive, professional, collaborative, and SO knowledgeable. She is not afraid to (respectfully) challenge the status quo in meetings and truly takes the time to explain things to us as parents. I honestly cannot picture where our daughter would be right now in her educational journey had we not taken the steps to partner with Educational Advocates of America.

  Im so thankful that I made the decision to hire ***** as an advocate for our 6-year-old daughters *** meeting. She helped facilitate an environment for my voice and concerns to be heard. She was able to secure appropriate services and accommodations that I had been unable to secure by myself. And now my daughters matrix score is actually representative of her needs. She is definitely worth the value. I would never go back to the *** table without her.

  ******** ********** is an outstanding educational advocate, strong, confident, and absolutely *********** matter how challenging the school team may be, she stands her ground and fights for what your child needs and deserves. ******** ensured that every necessary evaluation was requested and followed through to create a detailed, well-structured IEP that was clearly tailored to my childs unique needs.Beyond her professionalism, what stood out most was her compassion. She was always available to answer my questions, calm my worries, and guide me through every step of the process with care and clarity.I could go on about the countless ways she went above and beyond. She truly surprised me and Im sure surprised the school team as well with her presence, knowledge, and command of the process.
