Purchased a 2023 unit that had sat on the lot for a year and a half, through Hurricane ***. They wouldnt disclose if the unit was on the lot during the hurricane or not. Once you sign the papers the deposit is forfeited, forcing the buyer to purchase the unit. Upon inspection the unit was not satisfactory. At least 20+ things deteriorated or broken. Was told I would have to forfeit my $65,000 deposit if I wanted to switch to another unit or walk away. I looked at other units anyway but was stuck with this one. Before I came out to pickup the unit I was assured it was in perfect shape. It was in bad condition when I arrived. I wanted to walk away but was forced to buy the unit thanks to the paperwork I signed trying to get a head start on the deal to get back to the family by spring break. Now Im stuck with a unit with so many defects it would take months to get it all repaired, and would have to return thousands of miles back to the factory. So dissatisfied with this purchase abd process and having my have forced by them basically holding my deposit hostage it was like having a gun to my head. There was no option to walk away. So dissatisfied I cant even see straight.
