We paid for SEO services 10/27 with 1 month turn around time 11/27. Instead, no work was completed. He asked for more money than he initially needed to complete the project $1500 total was spent. He is unable to be reached by call text or email. After reading the other reviews here, I am confident ******************* with Surf City Designs (Red Pin Local) is a scam artist and nothing more.

We hired ************ as a recommended partner through Wix last year (2021) to assist us with website design and SEO services under his business name which at the time was Red Pin Local. We were satisfied with his services but did at times to be pushy regarding extra money to be paid and very clearly tried to use terms about his services that we didn't understand in order to convince us to pay more. Nevertheless we were satisfied with the results of our first go around dealing with him.My husband has since expanded his services and reached out to ***** again, directly this time, to assist in adding those to our existing SEO. He now appears to operate under the business name of either UX Local SEO or ******** Services 360. My husband and ***** chatted about varies changed to be added and made to the website in order to get our new services integrated with the already existing SEO. Because of previous scams with *****, we requested to pay via a credit card link instead this time - a point which ***** was upset over but agreed to. My husband paid a depot of $2000ish. Over the next several days to two weeks we found that the existing site became very sloppy looking, half put together and information was changed and entered incorrectly (for example: when I originally wrote the bio for the website, I wrote that the business was started in 2018 and it was then changed to 2008) I supplied all of the images for the new services being added and sent them to ***** via email with no issues. I let him know that I purchased them with my Canva Pro subscription so that we were not being charged an additional fee for Wix images. He agreed via email. On January 1st, I logged onto the website and was very disappointed in the way that it looked. None of the links that previously worked were working - the images were not making sense and the fonts and layout looked like they had been put together in more more than an hour. Not the kind of "finished product" I was expecting.I sent ************ a professional, albeit dismayed email on January 1st asking him to set up a time to chat with me as I did not feel that the way the website was looking was to our satisfaction nor did I think it was worth the price tag. ************ proceeded to email us back with threats and harassment claiming that we were "conning him" and that if we didn't;t pay him the remainder ($750) he would put liens on our property and make sure we"never show up on ******* I guarantee it"I calmly emailed back that I believed my email was taken out of proportion and still requested and phone call to chat which he denied. "No phone call. We are Done"He has since called my husband numerous times yelling at him and using profanity as well as sending an additional email on January 2nd with more threats and harassment.,TO be clear, we never said we would not pay ************ for his time and services but we were not happy with paying before we feel like the work done and changes make were to our satisfaction as the customer. At this point, he has threatened us numerous times harassed us for payment, insulted me 50% owner of the business for "getting involved" - all of which I have in emails. I have reported him to Wix as he is a "Wix" partner. BBB has an account for his old business name with 4 negative reviews all claiming similar instances which makes me wonder why he no longer uses that business name.I should also mention as an SEO company, his websites are inactive or completely false.
