I had one of the worst car-buying experiences of my life with this dealership. On February 23, 2025, I purchased two vehicles, putting down $5,000. Fast forward to today, May 19, 2025, and both vehicles are sitting in the garage and practically *************** #1:Broke down completely A/C doesnt work Brakes are bad Wires are coming out of both front tires Transmission is leaking due to a bad seal When I brought this to their attention, they had the audacity to tell me it would cost $650 to fix, even though the issues clearly existed when they sold me the vehicle. Theyve since sold both car loans to a different company, avoiding responsibility ************** #2:I later discovered it had been in a major accidentinformation that was never disclosed at the time of sale Found pictures tied to the *** showing extensive damage The brake light has never turned off The car smells heavily of cigarette smoke, indicating it had not been properly cleaned or detailed Now, the bumper has completely come offthey had simply snapped it on for the sale Both cars are in terrible condition, and I feel completely taken advantage of. This is not just poor customer serviceits dishonest and unethical business. If you value your hard-earned money, I strongly advise staying away from this dealership.

    Business Response

    Date: 06/23/2025

I would like to respond to the complaint by ******* ******* against Auto Provider *** having to do with 2 vehicles that Ms. ******* purchased and financed with us on February 23, 2025.

I would like to begin with the 2014 ******* ****** that she purchased for her son to drive. Shortly, after Ms. ******** purchase her son called to inform us that the air conditioning was not functioning. We set an appointment for him to drop off the vehicle and we replaced the air conditioning compressor at our cost even though she signed an AS-IS warranty.

In late May, 3 months after the purchase, her son came back to say that he was having trouble with the transmission. Auto Provider cannot be responsible for the actions of a teenager who may or may not be driving the vehicle hard and we certainly cannot see 3 months into the future.

We recommended a transmission shop to him which quoted him $3,000 for the repair. After some negotiating by me the transmission shop reduced the price to $2,300. Aside from that savings,Ms. ******* still owes us $690 from the 2 registrations that we paid The *********************************** of which we told them to apply that owed balance towards the repair. I challenge anyone to find a dealership that is willing to extend that act of kindness especially when the warranty is AS-IS.

There are no other valid issues with the vehicle, the engine smooth, and the brakes and tires are fine. These are items of which the owner is responsible for anyway. The customer has since voluntarily repossessed the vehicle.

The second vehicle in the complaint is the 2015 ********** Jetta. That the customers that we said its normal or that we didnt care to help is just untrue as proven by our response with the 2014 ******* ******. I dont know why the bumper fell off as she claims but that was 2 months after the purchase as she stated.
Maybe her teenage daughter who is the one driving this vehicle parked to close to a curb. I dont know but Auto Provider cannot be responsible for something like that. Yet again, we would have been willing to help.

Her claim concerning the gas, its a simple test, fill the tank to full, press the trip button and see if you get ******* miles. If you are adding $10-$20 a day and you dont actually calculate, if you are just guessing, if you dont know how many miles you actually drive daily how can you claim that there is a gas problem?

The customer also is complaining about a brake light in the instrument cluster. Everyone knows a light on the instrument cluster isnt normal, that we would say that is *************** could be an easy fix that we would be happy to help with, a bad bulb, a brake switch, low brake fluid. This is easy for us to take care of.

Ms. ******** insurance on the ********** is cancelled and is behind on her payments. She should handle herself accordingly.

Auto Provider Inc. strives to sell quality used vehicles and thats what they are, and we do our due diligence to buy the best vehicles possible to maintain a good reputation in the community so customers return. We also strive to give good customer service for this same reason. We understand how important word of mouth and good reviews are. We have sympathy for customers issues.

    Thank you for your attention.

First the ***** has issues but we still make payments and we are not behind and the insurance is still valid on it. I took the insurance off the ******* ****** since we cant drive that car. The A/C was never fixed or any new parts was put in and its no way a person can break a transmission and engine within a time frame of less then 2 months and yes it was as is but I asked all questions and auto provider tried to reassure me that everything about they used cars were fixed and with no problems I told them I was buying these cars for my kids and we need reliable cars and they told me they were. And the Jetty was in a accident before I bought it and the front end was missing all was done was a old bumper was put on and it was uneven I told them and they said nothing was wrong with it so we did not do anything to it but drive it and then it started to hang down and come off i had to get it zip tied to stay up I have a pictures to show from a vin number search that the bumper was already off due to a accident before we bought the car. Yes I returned the car because they sold my account to a different finance company because they did not want to fix the problems so since my son cant drive a broke down car in less then 2 months of having it Im not paying another dime. I was current on it until 5/10 when it totally broke down. And the other car we still making payments. On auto provider business review page he said i had the car repossessed in one month paid it off and then got it back. So which one is it.

    Business Response

    Date: 06/28/2025

To reiterate, we have told the customer to bring the Jetta so we can help. If she hasn't received that message from me then I am stating it now again. I did not state that the insurance on the ***** was expired, I do state that as of my last response she was late on her payment.

We installed a new compressor in the ******* and it comes with a warranty. Again, we cannot tell the future and could not possibly know that a transmission would have any issues 3 months after their purchase. We offered to help with the repair of the transmission by reducing the price to $2300 from $3000 and donating the $690 that she still owes us from the 2 tags. Again, there isn't a dealer that would extend that generosity. All used vehicles are sold with an AS-IS WARRANTY which means there is no warranty. The customer had the option to purchase a warranty for either vehicle.

Auto Provider strives to buy and sell quality vehicles for the community. We know how important good customer service is. We have a 4.5 ****** rating with many satisfied customers. We encourage all customers to visit our site and come to ********************** to witness for themselves. Thank you for your time.

On may ******* I purchased a used car from this dealer.on the odometer in the car it says ****** miles, on the contact it says ****** miles. He sold me the car high above the value because of the low mileage. I did not know it at the time, now I know that it is not right. What can I do.

    Business Response

    Date: 07/29/2024

It is not the intention of Auto Provider to sell a vehicle with True Miles Unknown. In entering the mileage, our inventory department entered ****** instead of ******. It was an honest mistake proven so by the fact that the vehicle was sent to ******* Dealer to replace the engine for free under a recall. The mileage at ******* was clearly ******. It was an honest mistake. We have spoken with the consumer and she is understanding of everything. After she went to the ******* Dealer and speaking to the service writer and us again she is now comfortable and understands it was an honest mistake our part. We are correcting the situation.

I was charged $10,000 for the car, I would not have paid that amount for the car had I known it was over ****** miles. Its not worth it from the first week I got the car it started to stall and shut off while driving, I took it back to them, they said they fixed the problem but it wasnt fixed. Thats a big lie I did not go to Hyundai dealer and they did not ask me to go. Please I am a caregiver and I need to have a car, I am paying 28.9% APR I need to know what to do, thank you.

I *************** purchased my vehicle at the end of July of 2023 at auto provider. The total of the car was around 10K. I put down $2,500 including $400 for insurance first day and the following week paid $250 for the tag. Upon my arrival i had a variety to choose from and i chose the ****** 2012 Camry because i know that brand is a reliable one even if is used. I was told everything was fine. I signed the contract and drove off the lot after signing and transactions. Fast forward within 2 months the car started turning off on me in the middle of traffic. I headed over there after i got off work at 4 and was told everything is fine and that its a minor starter issue. Then a month later the engine started rattling and shaking horribly. I went back over there and i was told i needed a timing chain which will cost me around $1,600. I told the man there its not fair and he scolded me and got defensive and told me its my fault. I didnt even have this car for a year for it to cause me all these issues. I havent drove my car since November because while in traffic my breaks went out and would not stop. How is it my breaks are gone within 4 months of purchase. I did two diagnostic and everything failed. I have parts that need to be replaced and also have NO breaks. But yet the loan company harass me everyday to pay for a car I cant drive and also harass me they will tow it and that my credit will be in shambles. I worked hard to save up for I am a single parent doing the best that I can. Nobody at that company is willing to find a solution because they want me to pay for repairs that was masked. Ive even contact the loan company to find a solution they arent any help either. I would like help on getting this resolved. If they refuse to work with me and tow the car I dont want it to affect my credit. The email address the loan provided me does not even work. Im not able to drive the car to a dealership because I have no breaks.

purchased 2 vehicles from them with no financing. We looked at numerous vehicles. I asked the salesman many questions including if any of these cars are salvaged vehicles which he said no. He told us they make sure the cars are mechanically sound when they sell them. Initially, we were going to get a Jetta and the Accord. The Accord had a check engine light on which the salesman told me everything has been fixed on the car and the code just wasnt cleared. The mechanic came out and was not able to clear the code. I told him we would buy the car but they need to make sure whatever is going on with the car causing the code to come up needs to be fixed. So they said they would tow the car from *************** to *************** **. When we sat down to buy the cars and asked for the *** and wasnt getting it from the salesman and he said the paperwork including the title would be with the cars when they are delivered. My mom told us to look at the cars for the ***s on the Accord and the Jetta. I pulled up the the cars and come to find out the Jetta was in a major wreck and had a salvage title. I showed the salesman the report and he called his boss and was saying he didnt know they sell cars with salvage titles. So we switched to the Acura and kept the Accord. I was told they would cover the cost to tow both cars because of the issue with the Jetta of finding out its a branded title. The cars were supposed to be towed on 6/16/23 and no cars, they said the codes havent been cleared and the credit card payment from my bank acct. hadnt cleared. My bank said it cleared. 2 or 3 days later they said the code is clear but they havent gotten the money but my bank still says its on their end and it was taken out of my acct. Then their credit card transaction company calls me after asking for proof of identity and they finally authorize the cars to be towed to us. The cars sat a couple of days since my daughter and son in law were out of town,(continued on attachment.

purchased 2 vehicles from them with no financing. We looked at numerous vehicles. I asked the salesman many questions including if any of the cars are salvaged which he said no. He told me they make sure the cars are mechanically sound when they sell them and fully inspected. We were going to buy a Jetta and the Accord. Business Response

Auto Provider sold the complainant's daughter 2 cars. The complainant was not physically at the dealership to witness the details of the transactions therefore her version of the details is not correct. The customer used a credit card. The customer's credit card company held the funds until they could verify that the transaction was not fraudulent, which took several days. The funds may had been removed from the complainant's account but was not in ours and the complainant can attest to that after conversations with her credit card company. It was the responsibility of the complainant to advance that process as quickly as possible so we could finalize the transaction. We certainly were not going to ship the vehicles without receiving the funds first.

To the point of any rebuilt title vehicle, again the complainant was not present to witness anything. The sale person did show a vehicle with a rebuilt title unknowingly AND AS SOON AS HE WAS MADE AWARE HE IMMEDIATELY TOLD THE CUSTOMER. It is illegal to sell a vehicle with a rebuilt title IF the customer is not told of the matter. It is not illegal to sell that vehicle as long as a customer is informed and it is in writing with signatures.  That was absolutely NOT the case here. We told the customer minutes after showing the ********** Jetta, minutes, and we discarded the vehicle as a purchase option.

To the point of any repairs, we did the repairs as promised when they purchased the vehicle. We do not know when the check engine light came on but there were no codes when we delivered the vehicle. we cannot tell the future and if a light came on afterwards we cannot be responsible. Additionally, this is the first time I hear of this issue. I would like to add that issues will occur at any instance with used cars. No person can tell the future repair issues of a used vehicle and this is why used cars are not sold with any type of warranties. Used vehicles are sold As-Is unless a warranty is purchased. As a company that purchases many cars per month this is something that we are well aware of. There is always a repair needed when you purchase a used vehicle or shortly thereafter.

To the final point of the transport of the vehicles, we offered to pay for the transportation of the 2 vehicles BECAUSE of the misunderstanding with rebuilt title issue. An issue that was actually a non-issue because no purchase was made. The complainant conveniently forgot to mention that. The transport of the 2 vehicles from ************* to Sun City was approximately $700.00.

I find it bewildering that there is even a complaint when we have done everything and more than the customers asked for. Auto Provider strives to be a fair and conscientious company. We have been in business for just about 20 years with a good reputation and we will continue to do so.

We purchased 2 cars from them on 7/16/23, Acura TSX and a ***** Accord no financing for $10,000 each on 7/16/23. ***** had a check engine light on and we were told everything was fixed on the car and they just need to clear a code. The salesman gets the mechanic to come out and clear the code on a Sunday but he said it wasnt clearing and they would fix whatever was causing the engine light to go on. He offered to tow the vehicles up to the ***** after everything was fixed with the *****. The manager/owner tried to have us pay for towing even though it was offered to us. The only reason we ended up not paying for towing is that initially we were going to get a ********** but it ended up being a salvage vehicle after I ran a VIN check even though I specifically asked if any of these cars theyre trying to sell us have salvaged titles and I was told no. After all this we had trouble getting the vehicles delivered to us because they said they didnt get the payment even though it was already taken out of my bank and the issue was with their processing company, not on my end. So we ended up waiting several days to get the car instead of one. We were informed the fixes were made to the ***** and I dont drive much and my daughter that actually was going to be driving the car was out of town. When she gets back she sees that the check engine light came on again. I inform the salesman and the owner/manager calls me and said he was going to check for some mechanics in the area. Come to find out my daughter takes in to the ***** dealership and the say its the catalytic converter. ******** say the manager said hes not going to rebuild an engine for a used car and ***** is just going to say a bunch of stuff is wrong with it. So she goes to auto zone and they say its the catalytic converter and our mechanic says its the catalytic converter. There is no way they didnt know that was the issue with the check engine light. So we paid $2500 to replace 3 catalytic converters.
