    I was a client of agent named ****** ********* who works for Avoya Travel as independent contractor. Booked Carnival cruise with her, issues from start. Long story short, a day before cruise she assigned another party to my room without my consent and approval. In addition, my original party backed out month before cruise, credit from ******** sent to agent directly of $105.33 on 07/15/25 & $55.33 credit 7/29/25 but agent told me never got credit. Stated she was going to resolve with carnival but never followed up. Told me, she's on **** w/ sister as if I was annoying her when I asked for status. When I texted her confirmation from carnival of credit back to HER CARD, she blocked me. Has me blocked ever sense. Now i'm escalating this w/ Carnival and Avoya directly. If not resolved by Friday plan on pursing legal actions over $160.66 ****** ********* stole! Ridiculous and very unprofessional.

    Of course at time of booking there was a lot of communication with the independent agent of Avoya Travel. She did contact me to inform the final payment was due, but not until the day before via email - then day of by phone.Unfortunately we had to cancel the Alaska cruise due to my mother-in-law's health. She was in the hospital and now on hospice. Once I got the cruise cancelled via the Avoya agent, I needed a statement of cancellation amount for the travel credit via Allianz travel insurance. The agent would not return my calls - and neither would Avoya ******************* They do have customer service agents who answer, but anything needing 'advanced' service goes to another number - you leave a message and no one calls you back... *************** could not work with me directly since I went through a travel agent. After 6 weeks of leaving messages and sending emails to Avoya agent and Avoya ***************** I finally gave the *********************** *** my agent's email - and that FINALLY worked! Terrible customer service from ********************** - I won't use them again!

    Avoya is the worst company that you could ever work for. DO NOT PAY TO LEARN FOR TRAVEL AGENCY. You can join a local company and they are way more hands on then Avoya will ever be. This company will steal your money and not help you if you don't take their leads. Which you only get 30% when they give you a lead. If you get your own clients and you leave you will have to pay them commission to get your own lead. This company is stealing money from a small business that is trying to make it. I WILL NEVER TELL ANYONE ABOUT AVOYA.

    ********************* is the worst Travel Agent I have ever worked with. She is rude and incompetent in her job. She lies to you charges your card after she quotes you for a price. Once she takes your money, she charges you more for the cruise itself. It was so bad I lost my $250 onboard credit over and got charged additional $800 because of her incompetence. Do not use ********************* or Travel Agent

    Travel agent ****, did not help us one bit. He used us. He never followed through, charged us an extravagant amount of money and we havent see it back!! He never took blame for what he did. He would start lashing out at us, and said how wonderful an agent he is. Which is not correct. Ive dealt with other travel agents that have not done what he has done. Inconsistent, lier, betraying, horrible , horrible agent to work with. If I was a travel agent and MOST travel agents would do whatever they could to make it right. Not ****!!

    I have been calling ***************** a thousand time with regards my paid booking, and they seemed not to care, never answer me. Is it intentionally Avoya travel customer services are doing. Right now. my complain is not returning my call. I will later have more complaint to file as my booking is nearer todate.

    I'm really shocked at the poor reviews of Avoya Travel. I was in travel for many years as an agent, agency manager, and tour ****** so I have a lot of travel experience as a retail agent and a traveller. 4 years ago my mom decided to take my sister, a breast cancer survivor, on a 12 day Mediterranean Cruise on Celebrity and she booked the trip with **** at Avoya Travel. At the last minute (1 week before departure) she asked me to go and Avoya worked quickly to get me a cabin and everything went off without a hitch. We had them arrange travel insurance (I always get travel insurance, although luckily have not had to use it) and that was good thing because my mom got a respiratory infection and had breathing treatments on the ship. Again, the insurance reimbursed my mom without any issues. The reason I noticed the bad reviews is because I was just going to call Avoya and have them book a Carribbean for this Fall and an ****** cruise for July ****. I'm sorry some people have had a bad experience with Avoya, but that has not been the case with us and we intend to use them again. Safe travels everyone!

    Travel agent removed my Travel insurance without my knowledge!!! There was a problem with **********, not our fault. We tried catch up to cruise (started in **** to ******** 15 day cruise) being flown from ******* to ******** to *******. After 3 days of this, we gave up cause we missed ****, *************** We were flown home from *******. found out travel agent ********************* removed our travel insurance and never told us, nor did she send any type of invoice showing this after I asked if everything was paid for!! She said YES. She knows she made this mistake and will not give us a credit (not asking for refund only credit) toward future use.

    Do not ever use this company. ***********************, who booked my cruise was incompetent and did not even cancel my cruise when I asked him too. AND he admitted he was to busy and wasnt able to get to it! For ****'s sake. You can report a travel agent to American Society of Travel Agents and they will investigate for you. That is what I am doing.
