I called Audi Fort Lauderdale on October 28 at 12:25 to speak with someone about bringing my car in because I just had a oil change a week prior to the light coming back on, the guy who answered the phone told me I would have to come in on Monday I explained to him I work and Im not off until Saturday and they will be held responsible if anything happens to my car he hung up on me without making an appointmentBusiness Response

There was a disruption in the communication, however there is no way of telling the cause.
The service manager spoke with the client and welcomed to come in on Monday morning, first thing to have the oil light addressed and would provide her with a courtesy Uber/Lyft ride to her place of work.Initial Complaint

On 4/13/23 a 2015 Audi S3 was towed to Audi of Fort Lauderdale due to a flood. The car was tin their possession for approximately one month for the repairs needed. During that time period, due to the negligence of their employee the following was damaged on this car:front radiator bracket broken front drivers side seat leather torn and damaged large scratches in both the drivers and passengers side doors. On 5/10/23 pictures of the damage were sent to ******************, the service writer and *****************************, the shop manager. ****************** stated that the necessary repairs would be done at no charge. At that time, I was told the radiator bracket would be repaired. The seat leather on the driver side seats would be replaced (not repaired) and the scratches would be fixed by a body shop. Parts were ordered. On 6/2/23 the car was dropped off and he was provided a loner, while the repairs were being done. We were told it would take 2-3 days. On 6/8/23 I called to inquire as to the progress on the car. ****************** stated the front bracket was fixed and the car was on the way to the body shop, and they were waiting on the upholstery repairs, as they were being done by an outside vender. On 6/13/23 I called ******************** to discuss this situation, as the car still was not completed. I never received a return call. On 6/21/23 I called again to inquire as to the status of the car. ****************** stated they were finishing up on the front bracket, although 2 weeks prior I was told it had been completed. The upholsterer had picked up the seats to replace the leather and then the car was to go to the body shop once the seats were done, although 2 weeks prior I was told the car was on the way to the body shop. I suggested to have the body work done while the seats were being repaired.I did discuss with ***************** on 6/21/23 that ****** is in medical school and will be returning to ********** towards the end of July for clinical rotations and would not be returning to ******* for over 4 months. He will be driving home as he will need his car for transportation. If his car is not ready at that time, he will need to take his current loaner car with him and will be unable to return this car until he returns in mid-November. I was told by ****************** that would not be a problem.7/15/23 I spoke to ******************, as the car was still not ready. I left a message with ***************************, service manager, did not receive a call back.7/16/23 I finally spoke to ***************************, the service manager, who stated the mechanic had just fixed the radiator bracket. I told him that ****************** had stated that had been done 3 weeks prior. He also stated that they were not going to replace the seat leather as ***************** had stated on multiple occasions. They were trying to repair the leather. I discussed my concern that it would not be possible to repair the leather and that the seat leather needed to be replaced. At this time the scratches on the doors had not been addressed. I was told the car was not going to a body shop but to a automotive detailer to see if the scratches could be buffed out. I further discussed with ******************** that the car needed to be completed by the third week of July as my son needed the car to return to ********** for clinical rotations and he would not be back in ******* for 4 months. I had been told on several occasions by ****************** that in the event that the car is not ready he would be able to take the loaner to **********. ******************** stated that was not a possibility. We would not be able to take the loaner to **. Again, I was lied to by ******************. I told him the car needed to be completed to our satisfaction in 2 weeks.Business Response

I am requesting Audi Fort Lauderdale refund me a baseless and erroneous $355.79 diagnostics fee as a result of this behavior. Ive attached a 2/14/23 estimate by Audi Fort Lauderdale in the amount of $2430 whereby Audi Fort Lauderdale attempted to bill me/my insurance company for faulty wiring. After multiple days of inquiries and holding my car, Audi Fort Lauderdale informed me that my insurance company denied coverage and that if I wanted to have my car repaired, I would need to pay an estimated $2430 out of pocket. Upon calling my insurance company named AXIOM ( Contract # VSCSFLA00404763) the next morning on February the 10th, I learned that Audi Fort Lauderdale lied to me as my insurance provider explained the attached bill was not itemized as per industry standard and that the insurance provider requested a simple break down as additional information of Audi Fort Lauderdale - information never received. Instead of providing the requested information, Audi Fort Lauderdale informed me that the coverage was denied and I would be forced to pay $2430 out of pocket. My insurance provider had provided me with multiple competitors for itemized estimates and I ended up moving forward with **************** of *********, **. This work was approved by my insurance company in the amount of $692 out of $1248 total and wiring was NOT even the issue, suggesting no diagnostics was even performed by Audi Fort Lauderdale. **************** provided an itemized bill for reimbursement, which was paid for and the car repaired. When I confronted Audi of Fort Lauderdale about this diagnostics fee I had to pay, the representative informed me that one part of this fee ($ ******) was the diagnostics fee performed on my car and the second part ($ *****) was for their time spent speaking with my insurance provider. Given Audi Fort Lauderdale was dishonest in communication with my insurance provider, asking me to pay for their fraud and lack of real diagnostics is wrong.Business Response

I bought a 2021 Audi R8 Spyder. Had the car for 5 days and the brakes started squealing. Took the car in 3 separate times before service finally changed the braking system. Then there was this rattling noise coming from the dash. I took the car in at least 4/5 times and each time the service tech acknowledged hearing the sound but the first 3 times they just kept my car for 2-3 weeks until I complained about paying for a super car and driving a loaner car then they would call me to pick my car up. Still they did nothing. That went on from June/July of 2022 until Jan 2023. The first time in Jan 2023 the service tech confirms the sound and tells my service advisor they have to completely remove the dash and it will take some time. They keep the car for a few weeks and return it without touching a thing. Then the end of *** 2023 the ******* of **************** takes a ride with me, he hears the sound and convinces himself it's the front shocks. He proposes removing the left front shock and moving to the right side and vice versa. He does that then calls me back in to ride with him just to say we still hears the sound and wants to confirm I hear it. I did. 3/4 weeks later of my car sitting in Audi Fort Lauderdale's service department, while I made another astronomical car payment, the sound is still there. What makes matters worst is when I went to pick up the car he lied on the Service Paperwork. In summary it read the customer (ME) stated there's a sound coming from the shocks. I believe this was done so they could charge Audi *** (or the manufacture) the $3,500 it costed to replace the shocks with brand new shocks. This car cost me almost $250,000.00 and this has been the worst service experience ever.As a parting gift, these guys gave me my car back FILTHY.Business Response

Thank you for notification and the updates from the customer. The client has been directed to Audi of ******* and has an open case with demands. A buyback or buyout with the manufacture eliminates the local dealer from commenting or getting involved,
Please direct the client to communicate directly with Audi of *******. The complaint for warranty on a product should not be filed against a dealership.
Thank you
