  I was hoping that I wouldn't be one of the unlucky customers whose stuff was not delivered within two weeks. Guess what, I am. The company is extremely difficult to get in touch with after daily calls, and three weeks going on to the fourth week, still no delivery and no returned calls. Last week I learned that the truck that was supposed to be loaded with my stuff was mistakenly loaded with another household's belongings. What an incompetent company!! DO NOT use this company!

  Warning this firm is a broker who shifts the work to other, actual, moving firms. They failed to honor their pickup appointment set months in advance and failed to notify the customer until contacted by the customer. Two days late it was agreed the pickup could start if started by 8am. Promptly at 1PM the clown show started. Two boxes left behind and when alerted Safeway said "what do you want me to do about it?"A painting on silk was damaged extensively as it was delivered with NO protection, no blankets, no bubble wrap, no cardboard just unloaded with multiple holes. First three items off the truck were NOT mine. The delivery took over six weeks because "I didn't have a full truck load."" Overall a disaster in execution and a disaster in NO, None, support for the customer. All calls to ********************** were answered by clerks who put you on hold and never addressed the complaint.

  Moved from AZ to **. I have moved 3 times by previous companies by national providers and I think only one lamp was damaged during the process. Each time I was moving from one 3 bedroom to another 3 bedroom home (about 1600 sq ft). This move was personal (after retirement moving back to CA) and it was horrendous on steroids poor! I think I lost about 60% of all of my items to some type of damage. Careless, haphazard and hidden fees. To give you and example of how cray this horrible move was with this company; I had expensive small appliances and I had kept the original boxes (they all had pictures on the boxes too to identify the contents) next to the small appliances only to find out that they did NOT use those boxes, but THREW the small appliances in UHAUL boxes (they charged me for) and actually PACKED the empty appliance boxes in the truck with them (and counted these boxes in the total they charged me for to transport them. You just CANNOT make this c*** up. Unbelievable.; simply crazy. Packed garage remote controls from the old house too. I had to ship them back to the new owners (I shipped them back because it was the right thing to do). The final charge was about 45% MORE than what was quoted too! Too upset to say more. Do yourself a favor and spend the money to get a great national mover. You will end up spending with this company and you will get upcharged for sure and probably lots of your things irreparably broken, chipped and damaged in some way because of the horrible packing that they do. I would leave minus 10 stars if I could. Buyer beware. Scam level stuff if you ask me

  Im writing this as the team finishes assembling our furniture and unpacking boxes. Safeway Moving has been absolutely amazing from start to finish. We called them the night before our move due to a last-minute change, and they squeezed us in without hesitation. The crew showed up early, worked through seven straight hours, and never once complained even when the workload ended up being nearly double. When they realized we had underestimated, they even sent an extra mover at no charge. Everything was carefully wrapped, including antique furniture, and there was zero damage to our walls or floors. They placed each item exactly where I asked, and wouldnt stop until everything was just right. You cant ask for better movers. This team is professional, fast, and truly cares about customer satisfaction. Thank you so much, **********************!

  We went with a small business run by a veteran because it felt better than going with a big company and because it got great reviews. We eventually got all of our things after 40 days, and despite a couple of boxes being crushed, nothing was damaged. However, communication was terrible. Correspondence went unanswered and once our things had been picked up, we were not told that our contact person had changed. Emails from the new contact person came to my junk email from "customerservice" at "centraldispatchoffice" with nothing about Safeway Moving so it got deleted along with all of the similar things in my junk mail. We had less than 24 hours notice as to when our things would be delivered to arrange for someone to be there when the movers showed up. The crew who moved us in did a great job. They did bring us three boxes that were not ours, which we caught and had them take back and hopefully got to their right owner. Also, the need for POSTAL money orders and cash, (since we didn't know the final amount we would be charged until the movers showed up with our things) was a pain. We would not use Safeway moving again.

  This was our first move in over a decade, and we had no idea how much stuff we had until it was time to pack. A friend recommended Safeway Moving, and they made everything easy from the initial estimate to the final box. The five-man crew was polite, punctual, and professional. They handled our items carefully and even helped reassemble furniture in our new home. We felt like we were part of the process. Truly one of the best moving companies around well gladly recommend them to others.

  From the first call to the final delivery, Safeway Moving provided a great experience. The staff was friendly, helpful, and very professional. I loved how transparent they were about the costs, and the crew worked quickly without ******* or cutting corners. Truly impressive service.

  I was amazed at how well Safeway Moving packed and handled my belongings. Fragile items were wrapped securely, and the movers paid attention to every detail. The communication was great, and the whole process was smooth. Im very happy with their service and would recommend them to anyone.
