    Same as everyone else, Coastal Moving selected Lojik Van Lines to move me 3 hours away and gave me an estimate of $2328.04 and we paid the deposit of $1257.01. We missed the item review call that happens 3 days before the move and I called back 10 minutes later with no response, texted the person with no response. The next day I called the sales person to inform them of this and magically got a call back immediately. After taking out a big item and adding small ones the estimate jumped up to $4634.15 and paid an additional deposit of around $1,500. Lojik gets here and told us were taking up more room even though we ended up with less things than the inventory call stated and they charged an additional $2000 for pick-up and told we need to pay $1000 at drop off making the overall move $7000, for 3 hours away thats baffling. I was promised next day and its been a week with still no things. Ive moved to ******, ** from ******, ** for $4000 so I know these prices are insane.

    ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE TO DEAL WITH !We experienced all that all others have reported. We were quoted a price by Coastal Movers based upon their estimated square feet of space we would require. The move is from ********, ** to **********. When Coastals initial trucking outfit arrived that was to transport to *********, according to them, and, then get loaded to a larger truck, the rate jumped approximately $600.00.We were told the entire shipment time would be from 3 to 7 days.Second stated delivery date upon our inquiry on June 6 was - Being loaded this week, and out for delivery next week.That never happened.This all started May 31, 2024.Today is June 17, and NO ANSWERS ! My intention is to attempt to escalate this to whatever overseeing agency is involved with interstate commerce and trucking.

    Coastal Moving selected Lojik Van Lines to move a few pieces of heirloom furniture from *******************, ** to ******, **. As a customer, I had no say in the quality of the mover selected. Lojik neglected to wrap a console table correctly but did pack its marble top well. The furniture was moved to a NJ warehouse. When the driver prepared to load the pieces onto the truck, he said the console table was broken beyond repair and he THREW IT OUT! It took a month for the furniture to arrive, with the driver texting me that he would come, then tell me he couldn't come, on multiple days. He sent me photos of the jumble of furniture inside the truck as proof that he couldn't get to my furniture until he made a detour to ********, **. The way the truck was packed it was no wonder the table was broken. Efforts to contact Lojik customer service failed - I never received a call back from them or Coastal.Neither Coastal Moving nor Lojik clarified the insurance possibilities to me when deciding on the cost of the move, which was by square footage and virtually no insurance beyond 60 cents/llb. Coastal uses inept moving companies and provides no support when encountering a problem, and scams customers by limiting insurance claim possibilities to reflect real damages for which the moving company is responsible. It's an industry in dire need of regulation.

    I received pricing from Coastal to move my home good from Massachusetts to Texas. ***** the gentleman from Coastal gave me a price of $6,100 to move my home goods. I figured it would change slightly as things when packing change and the price would go up. When they came to the house for pick up I was told that it would be about $1000 more do to the amount of home goods. I was ok with this at this point I have no choice and need my belongings in Texas. After they loaded the home goods into the truck I was told that there was even more than that had thought and now the price is up $9,500 total. This is totally a bait and switch set up. I am thinking I may not pay for this and they can keep the goods and I will buy new goods. They also recommend a company that moves vehicles and I had my car transported as well and the day before pick I was told the price is another $600. Another bait and switch when you don't have time to find another company to do this for you. ******** with a business license.

    Scammers/Thieves! Lojik Van Lines is a bunch of scammers. Every time I dealt with one of their moving people, they said they needed more money for one reason or another. I paid more than double what they quoted and my stuff took over a month to arrive. And many items were broken. I wish I could give negative or zero stars. Don't use them!

    If I could give Lojik Van Lines a negative rating, I would in an instant. This was by far the worst moving experience of my life. I was originally quoted approximately $2800 to move my items. The Saturday before the move, I was contacted by the broker who informed me there would be an additional charge of $1000 to cover bulk fees for 2 arcade games. When the movers arrived, they charged me an additional $1039.00 for the same arcade games, stating they could not stack anything on top of the games and I needed to pay for the "wasted space". In the end that overall costs was over $5000.00. However, it doesn't end there. The movers left my house in PA on 12/6/23 and told me it would be 3-7 days before delivery in **. I called the main office on 12/8/23 and informed them I had to go out of town on a business trip to *******, **, so my items could not be delivered until 12/15/23, in which I was told "it was not an issue and they would alert their dispatch office". I called again on 12/11/23 from the airport just to ensure they were aware of my business trip and was once again told "it was not an issue and they would alert their dispatch office". At 1:40PM on 12/12/23, I was called by the driver and was informed they were delivering my items in ** the morning of 12/13/23 between 7am-9am, I told the driver I was out of town on business and that I had called their office twice to inform them. He told me the only thing I could do was to pay a re-delivery fee or have them get storage unit that I would in turn pay for. Their dispatch called me and the lady who's name I will not put in this review was EXTREMELY rude. I then called 8 different people at their company and was told the same thing. I ended up having to book a red eye flight from *******, ** to **********, ** for 12/12/23, in order to be there the morning of 12/13/23 to receive my items. Only to find they stacked items on top of the arcade games they charged me $2000 to NOT stack on top of.

    By far the worst experience of my life. They charged me double what my quote was ($14,800 instead of $7,400) and my things arrived well after they were supposed to. Im missing items and they broke my belongings. I was lied to and *****ed by this company. I hope someone reads this and steers clear, save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. These people will ***** you out of your hard earned money.
