  Tjey out right lied and Saud I CANCELLED??? THEY NEVER SHOWED UP !, AND I Payed S 900 DEPOSIT THAT THEY Wouldn't Return ! THEY PROVIDED NO SERVICE JUST RIPPED ME OFF ! HOE FO I GET MY MONEY BACK !

  I was quoted $7k for my cross country move. I paid $3500 up front before anyone even came. The head of the moving team called 2 days before our scheduled move and wanted to pack us up then - like we should work on HIS schedule. He was extremely rude to my husband on the phone. When they did come to move our things, it appeared to be a father and 2 teenaged boys, all in flip flops. I had to do this move alone, and his greeting to me was, "where is your husband?". I realize that we all have cultural differences, but if you live and work in the US, perhaps you should remember that our women's rights movement was 100 years ago and you need to respect the people you work with. They left piles of plastic wrapping and tape rolls in my house for me to clean up. Once they loaded, my balance went from about $4k to $9047 and they still left things behind. I had to pay by ***** to this guy's personal number. It's like the mafia. When they did deliver our things, I had to produce $4k cash before they would even open their truck. Multiple things broken, including furniture. At least their team in ** didn't treat me like a second class citizen. STRONGLY do not recommend this company or using them through the broker Empire Moving Group. It's a scam. Everyone in customer service has a script, and they will outright accuse you of lying if you complain. Still no explanation of how we owed an extra $5K. No apology for how we were treated. They truly don't give a **** about you or your things. It's just money.

  I still think about how these guys conned me in May/June 2020. Quoted me for $1875 over the phone, an offer "only good for the end of today" with a 600$ non-refundable deposit. The sales representative, *******, told me he would give me his direct line, which ended up being a virtual line to ****** Voice that he never answered or responded to. He also told me it was "his guys" who would be doing the move, which was, of course, a complete lie as they are a moving broker.A few days before the move, upon confirmation of the item list, they ballooned our quote to $4800. I asked for a refund of the deposit since they misrepresented themselves but was flatly denied. I made multiple phone calls to them to try and resolve the situation and was repeatedly put on hold or did not receive an answer. The only way I was ultimately able to get in touch with someone was by calling the line that requests a new moving quote, and then was given the runaround by people with names that were completely fabricated. I ultimately took the loss and found an alternative moving company a few days before the move. If you are reading this, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, and if you have signed something already, cut your losses before they make things worse. BBB rating is an F and customer review rating is 1 with nearly identical stories. It is not a coincidence.
