I hired a moving company to relocate from ******** to *******. I was told would have my belongings delivered within the week. That was Thursday August 21st. I have yet to receive my belongings. No one will answer the phone or return my calls. I have paid them over $2000 so far.Business Response

We advised this customer in booking that the distance she is going comes with a general delivery spread of 2-12 business days. This delivery information was in the contract the customer signed and agreed to. We have spoken to this customer several times before and after her pickup. The driver did keep her updated with delivery updates which she passed along to our customer service team as well. The driver is well within D.O.T. guidelines for delivery timing and we have requested from Master Moving, the assigned carrier, a confirmation on if she has since been delivered.Initial Complaint

In July, I hired this company to move my belongings from **************** to ********* in the beginning of August. I paid half the quote up front, and the remaining balance was to be paid half at pick up, and half at drop off. A few days later I received an email stating they have been trying to get a hold of me. I had not received any calls, texts, or other emails. I called the company, and spoke with a second representative. She wanted to go over the items I needed to move. It turned out the original person I spoke with entered in the information incorrectly, which caused my quote to up a considerable amount. I asked about a refund, but she said it was too late. So I had no choice because I needed to move. After the phone call, I looked at my original agreement, and it said that I had three days to cancel and get a refund. The email and phone call happened on the fourth day. When the movers showed up, we went over the list of my items, and was accurate, but now they said it would cost more because it will take more room due to extra items, and big items. I told them there wasn't anything extra, the list they had matched exactly with what I had packed, and that they were aware of the item sizes. They wanted to charge me even more money. I spoke with a third representative, but she was unwilling to help. I was told it would take 7-10 days to get my stuff, it took 14. When the movers arrived, I noticed they weren't the original ones. When they opend the truck, I saw all 27 of my boxes completely smashed, two tv's that were boxed had severely damaged boxes. I spent my last $5,000 moving, and now I have to find the money to buy 27 more boxes to repack all my belongings. Not to mention unpacking every box to see what's damaged and/or broken.Business Response

******* ******* booked interstate moving services with Frontier Moving Solutions on 07/21/2025. This customer provided her address information, preferred pickup dates and an itemized articles list totaling 300 cubic feet for 31 pieces of inventory. The customer was given a locked-in rate of $5.00 per cubic foot. The customer subsequently signed and agreed to our binding moving estimate with a total estimated cost of $3065.00 and an immediate deposit of $1428.00. After booking and completing a verification, the customer was sent the Interstate Bill of Lading, which she signed and agreed to on 07/21/2025.
This customer was picked up on 08/02/2025 by Master Moving **** It became clear the customer had an increase in the total volume to be moved and required a vast amount of packing and crating services as evidenced by the photos and videos given to our customer service by the carrier. The customer went forward with the move and signed the revised Bill of Lading.
Upon delivery which took place on 08/16/2025 the customer stated he had damages and spoke to our customer service office to get the proper claims information. We have had no further contact with this customer since 08/19/2025.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:
Their customer service forwarded me to another company they said actually did the move. That company doesn't doesn't respond to any of my messages, and I am now seeking legal counsel. Neither company stood by any of their claims to make my moving experience a positive one. I was left to deal with the mover, who I couldn't really talk to with due to language barriers.

Frontier Moving Solutions is fraudulently retaining a deposit I made for moving services in the amount of $670.92. Despite following the instructions that were provided to me by a Frontier representative on the process for requesting a refund, Frontier has declined to process my refund. They claim that they will not honor the refund because I did not follow the proper procedure for requesting a refund--a procedure that was never communicated to me nor is explicitly detailed on the company's website or contractual documents. On July 11, 2025, I signed a Bill of Lading (BOL) with Frontier Moving Solutions to have them move my belongings from ************, ********, to *************, ********. I was told on the phone by the Frontier representative that if I wanted a refund on my deposit, I would need to either call the office or write him an e-mail directly requesting that refund within seventy-two hours of signing the **** Upon reviewing the terms of the **** I noted that the policy for requesting a refund required a written request, not a telephonic request; the Frontier representative had shared with me his e-mail address for me to make such a request if necessary.Several hours later, I elected to request a refund on my deposit from Frontier. I sent an e-mail to ****** requesting the refund, per his instructions. I called Frontier on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, to inquire about the status. Frontier told me that I had not followed the proper procedure for requesting a refund, but, when I explained that I had followed the procedure that was explained to me, the company took my address and indicated they would be processing my refund. When I called to inquire about the status approximately two weeks later, Frontier informed me that they had changed their mind and would not process my refund. Their failure to inform me of this had fallen "through the cracks," per the representative with whom I spoke. I have tried to secure my refund for the last week to no avail.Business Response

Move pickup date: 6/17/25 Move delivery date: 6/24/25 Moving job number: F8467889 The moving company and the Moving broker provided quotes that were significantly lower than the actual amount paid. At times of modifying the charges, the company insisted we pay with Zelle or Venmo. Upcharges were not discussed ahead of time, and were only introduced when our items were already loaded, so we had no recourse to dispute charges because they were already loaded and in hostage. When the driver arrived late the morning of 6/24, after calling him multiple times, and waking him up, he appeared to be hung over and sat in one of our chairs in the road with a big bottle of ******* and water, and would not move anything for some time. In addition, A significant number of our items were lost and not delivered or broken beyond repair. We estimated the amount of damages to be over $3000. After submitting a claim, we were offered only $300. I repeatedly asked for information about their claims department as well as their legal departments, and was never provided this information or with any contact names. Now 6 weeks later, our claim is still unresolved. We find this company to be highly negligent and in breech of our contract with them. We will be pursuing legal action if our claim is not resolved, and would advise anyone seeking movers to avoid these two companies at allBusiness Response

Review I left on their site: Quoted us $1800. Went through three forms of customer and quality assurance representatives and paid deposits (over half the cost). Day of move, the truck shows up and informs us they would only take 2 couches and 3 boxes. When we clearly let them know everything that was being moved and exact quantities and sizes ( and each item in the storage unit was clearly listed in our contract prior to the truck showing up day of. They then came and informed us it would be another $2500 for them to take anything else. When speaking with customer service to resolve the issue they became irate and were extremely rude despite facing no confrontation on my end. When legal action was brought up we were told go ahead, please try. Seeing as customer service was going to do anything but a manager reached out and let us know they wanted to resolve the issue and offered a refund of $88 Never use this company they are 100% in the business of scamming people. Trying to up charge in the last possible second when you are already mid move and have no other option and have already spent half your moving budget on their non refundable depositBusiness Response

On 4/30/25, I booked a move based on an initial estimate provided by a moving expert, who recommended 300 cubic feet of space for my 1-bedroom apartment. During the consultation, I clearly stated my maximum budget of under $2,500. I was pressured to commit quickly due to warnings about rising shipping costs, a real-time quote that would increase significantly in the upcoming days/weeks, and I was reassured that the space would be sufficient. After finalizing your packing and taking inventory, the estimate has now doubled to 600 cubic feet, raising the total cost from $2,300 to $4,800nearly double the original budget and significantly higher than you were led to expect. I believe that this company manipulated the original quote to stay within the budget, knowing that I would ultimately require more space, especially since I had explicitly stated that I had moved with a 15 ft U-Haul truck in the past, which I later learned is ~700 cubic feet. I am seeking a refund of the deposit of $1080.16.Business Response

******* ***** booked interstate moving services with Frontier Moving Solutions on 04/30/2025. This customer provided her address information, preferred pickup dates and an itemized articles list totaling 300 cubic feet for 33 pieces of inventory. The customer was given a locked-in rate of $4.35 per cubic foot. They subsequently signed and agreed to our binding moving estimate with a total estimated cost of $2395.60 and an immediate deposit of $1080.16. After booking and completing a verification, the customer was sent the Interstate Bill of Lading, which they signed and agreed to on 04/30/2025.
On 07/16/2025 this customer was scheduled to have a ***************** phone appointment. It was noted that this customer added more inventory, 231 additional cubic feet and 50 additional pieces of inventory. She informed the quality assurance team that she could not afford the increase in price due to the increase in volume and subsequently requested to cancel her move. She was escalated to management when she requested a refund and was informed she was ineligible for one per her signed service agreement. This customer made several threats against ********************** and decided to place her move on hold as opposed to cancelling and forfeiting her deposit.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because I believe Frontier Moving Solutions misled me by providing an unrealistic estimate of 300 cubic feet for my 1-bedroom apartment. I was upfront about my limited experience with professional movers and clearly stated that I had previously used a 15-foot U-Haul for similar movessomething I later found out holds around 700 cubic feet. Despite this, I was pressured to book quickly with warnings that the price would increase, and I wasnt clearly informed that I was waiving a visual inspection, which I now understand is critical for an accurate quote.
I provided an itemized list to the best of my ability, but I feel the company used my inexperience to get me to sign a contract that they knew would not cover the actual volume I needed. After finalizing my inventory, the estimated space more than doubled to 600 cubic feet and the price jumped to $4,800far beyond my original $2,300 budget. I ultimately ended up renting another 15-foot U-Haul and moved myself, confirming that even their revised estimate of 513 cubic feet still wouldnt have been enough.
I was transparent about my budget and expectations, and I feel taken advantage of. Im requesting a refund of my $1,080.16 deposit because I believe the company acted in bad faith and used misleading tactics to secure a booking they couldnt fulfill.
Sincerely,
******* *****Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: I booked a move based on an initial estimate from a moving expert, who recommended 300 cubic feet of space for my 1-bedroom apartment. During the consultation, I explicitly stated my maximum budget of under $2,500. I was pressured to commit immediately due to warnings about rising shipping costs and was reassured that 300 cubic feet would be more than sufficient. After packing and taking final inventory, the estimate has now doubled to 600 cubic feet, increasing the total cost from $2,300 to $4,800nearly twice my original budget and far beyond what I agreed to.After being accusedfalselyof threatening the business with bad reviews, and due to my growing concerns over unprofessional practices, I verbally requested to cancel the move on multiple occasions via phone call. Despite these clear requests, the business continues to state that the move is on hold rather than canceled. They have also recorded the hold as 12 months, even though I have written documentation showing a 24-month hold was offered.
I understand that the business may not be legally obligated to issue a refund under the signed contract. However, my dispute is based on the fact that the company used deceptive practices to lead me to believe they could provide the service I required within my stated budget, when in reality, my move would have required substantially more spaceresulting in costs far in excess of what I was led to expect and agree to.

My husband and I signed a contract with them and put down a $1200 nonrefundable deposit for a Full Pack Package. Which means they pack and move everything for us. We made sure to verify that if they break the contract with us, we will get our deposit back. We were told this multiple times. We paid for 50 medium size boxes, and 300 square feet of space, NOT CUBIC. The day before for the supposed move, I never got a voice mail, email, or text message. Since I work long hours, I can't answer so I was hoping for at least a voice mail explaining why two random numbers called me. They called me the day of the move and spoke condescending to me about why they wouldn't be out for over week. Since I wouldn't be in that state at that time, I had to get two friends be there to let them in and pack things up. They showed up over an hour late. They started to yell at my friends that they refused to pack anything until they got paid in full. They didn't have any of the boxes that I paid for. They DEMANDED to be paid $4000 IN CASH UNDER THE ***** which is WELL over double what I was quoted. They didn't have the updated contract. They were screaming at my friends to take the 'deal' and it'll be easier if they do. They told my friends that they HAVE to leave in two minutes (they just got there when they said it) and they have to be paid in cash right then and there. There was so much confusion and rudness from the bosses and the movers. My husband called the broker multiple times to be put on hold for over an hour twice and then they hung up on him twice. They movers left BEFORE confirmation from the brokerage. We wrote them an email explaining that they broke their contract, this is illegal as ****, we want our deposit back. We have not heard from them. So we will be looking at legal actions and possibly a class action against them. After this disgusting experience, I did a little digging. It's amazing how many bad reviews these scam artist have that couldn't be buried. I got more.Business Response

It was noted that this customer made NO CHANGES to their articles list and kept the original inventory that was provided in booking, confirming that they had no additional items to be moved. The customer in this complaint states that they were quoted for square footage which is also untrue. All of our moves are measured in CUBIC FOOT VOLUME.
On 07/09/2025 the assigned carrier, ************************ arrived on site to begin their interstate move. At that time it was found that there was an onsite increase in volume that resulted in an onsite refusal of service. This involved a move. I was quoted a price for the move, 2334. There was stipulations that it was quoted for a certain cubic footage in the truck. If my possessions went over that allotment it was 4.54 dollars per cubic foot. I was told I had gone over by approximately 200 cu ft. Ok so thats roughly 1k dollars more.Reading the contracts and prices 9 cant find any reasons why I was quoted 1134 dollars to secure the move, then 4237 dollars when they picked up my possessions and an additional 2846 is expected upon delivery. So my quoted price wen5 from 2334 to almost 9000 dollars. They're extorting people plain and simple.Business Response

I was scammed by Frontier Moving Solutions out of ***********************. I was told my move from ******* to *********** would be *****. ***** had me go room to room to discuss furniture and amount of boxes needed. We agreed on 15 large boxes for each room just to be safe I have 4 rooms thats 60 boxes. When the movers arrived I had taken of the list my lift chair, my sofa, and my recliner, and a small desk. Which gave me more cubic feet because ***** only put 30 boxes on the initial list instead of 60. 3 days before the movers showed up another guy named ***** called a Quality Control guy to see if I added any furniture or boxes. I told him that I took off the lift chair, sofa, recliner, and desk and had 10 more boxes to fill the space that the furniture wouldve. He charged me another ***** at pickup and delivery.
