They were advertising for houses. After you see the houses the house they give you the paperwork for three night accommodations. After you register you have to pay ***** dollars. Then you you have to book your stay with them and then you take your vacation. They are misrepresenting and they are not giving the costumer anything in return for it. There is no way to contact this business. I tried to contact the business and the website is malicious. I would like to file a compliant so other people are aware.Business Response

PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY IT IS A SCAM!!!! Just as the folks stated below it is all true. I paid $168.92 to activate my voucher and I paid that. I was told that would be all I had to pay. Once I selected the resort I was told I had to pay $39.95 for the days I want to reserve. So in my mind, I'm like what the heck is going on with another fee????. I then called and asked about that I spoke with " ****" the so-called Supervisor. He then tells me that once I pay the $39.95 per night fee, I have to pay $95 per person per night fee all-inclusive???? I never requested anything all-inclusive and was forced to pay all these **** fees. I work for a Law Firm so it would be in their best interest to refund my $168.92 before I take serious legal action. I give them 0 stars then don't deserve ANY!!!! They are a bunch of SCAMMERS but what goes around comes around.Business Response

I purchased a vacation to **********, ** with a credit card. I had 18 months to travel. During that time, there was nothing available. I even had customer service to assist in accommodations. Prior to the end date, I requested a refund-May 2022. the end of the contract was Sept 2022. After speaking with several customer service agents and fast forward 7 months later, I was awarded the refund (supposedly). I requested a paper check as I explained that the credit card used may no longer be valid or in use. Redeem Vacations stated they would send me a paper check if there was an issue refunding back to the card used. I had to call numerous times to find out where the refund went. They never answered the question but advised that I reach out to my bank. I called frequently until they sent me an email stating the refund was processed but again could not give me specifics. I continued to call back and continued to receive refund status'. With each email, I was advised it could take **** business days to reach my account. At this time, still no confirmation on the credit card used or the last 4 digits for confirmation. This process has taken well over 7 months to resolve and still isn't as I have yet to receive refund of $99.75.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: I notified them prior to issuing the refund that the card used is no longer valid and I would not receive it. It was a gift card and once the balance was cleared, the card was disposed. This was explained at the beginning of the refund request. I asked for another method of refund. Clearly, it was not intended to be received.

Won a vacation through bodegabob sweepstakes. They sent me a voucher for a free hotel stay through redeem vacations, just pay the taxes, and listed the hotel as the one you would be able to stay with all sorts of amenities. Low and behold after you pay taxes that hotel is not available, and offer other "free" hotels that are not even comparable. If you want a better hotel you have to pay more. Both bodegabob and redeem vacations are a complete scam do not use and try to get your money back asap.Business Response

I was provided a "free" hotel accommodation from this company through a business course I took. When I attempted to book a hotel, I was told I needed to pay a reservation fee upfront of over $200. Then, I later received a call from the hotel informing me that the reservation fee had not been paid and I had to pay $162.50. The hotel explained that Redeem vacations charges a fee for their service, and that Redeem misleads people with their fee by saying it is a resort fee, and that the hotel has had many problems with customers upset because, like myself, they were told that they already paid the resort fee to Redeem. This company misleads by saying that the vacation is free with the course costs ($1,500) and then making people pay two resort fees.Business Response

I should have checked the BBB first. I activated a "vacation" and was advised I had 18 months to use it. Thankfully, I knew what dates within the 18 months I needed (Three different trips to Barcelona over the coarse of the 18 months) - the city has little to no available hotel availability which now impacts the 18 month travel ability for this vacation within Barcelona. I reached out and was told "it's dependent on the hotels" IS THERE ONLY ONE HOTEL IN BARCELONA?! This is a terrible company and do not recommend others use this - they hook you with a great offer but when the to book, you have to appease their calendar - even if I had to upcharge to accommodate some different dates to fit any of the options for these trips, I would be fine with that but to be blocked out completely from May 7, 2023 through **** is ridiculous. at a FundRaiser, "Vacation Fundraising" was auctioning off vacations through a comedian group. The ad which I have a picture of states a trip to ********* with a value of $970 was being auctioned. which I won the auction at $209. This now went to "Reedem Vacations" where the value they were offering me was less than $100. which was totally not what was being advertised which I then requested to get a refund. I was refunded the taxes which was paid back from Reedem Vacations but my initial $209 was not refunded and now redeem vacations cancelled my auction so now i lost $209 and a trip and no one refunds money back. This is a total scam and should be investigated as I'm sure I'm not the only one who they did this to. I've attached a document withBusiness Response

If our customers are unsatisfied with the services we offer, we can offer a one time exception for a refund depending on the state of your voucher and based on the terms of our services. Our records show that the payment made to Redeem Vacations amounting to $99.69 has been refunded to your account on 09/27/2022 (please see Redeem Vacations.png attachment). Also, the receipt you have provided to one of our representatives clearly state that the charge was made by another business. Should you wish to have this refunded, we will need you to contact them directly as we do not hold the funds for that specific payment.

This place is a scam BUYERS BEWARE!! We got this "free" vacation from a ***************** time share. I had 30 days to activate it and I did within 5 days. We scheduled dates for the vacation then when it got to a Couple months out I wanted to verify everything before I bought plan tickets. When I contacted then they gave me the run around first saying I disputed the voucher. First off who would get a free trip to ****** then dispute it? Yeah BS #1. I made multiple attempts to contact them to get it figured out and I even contacted the bank just for fun that when I realized they didn't even know what bank I had I never even gave them my bank information. So I reached back out to them this time they said I could fix the dispute on their site. BS #2 I went to go do that and because there was a block on my voucher I had to contact customer service. We are about a month in the Making at this point. The rep said they needed to get with management about all this and would get back to me. Finally BS #3 they sent me a message saying that due to the fact my bank blocked this voucher (impossible) that my voucher was forfeited and they tried to reach out to me in July, 1 2022 about this.
