    Over 20 calls/texts from Health Insurance Alliance regarding a supposed application asking if application is for individual or family. When asked to whom they wish to speak the name is always *****. Last call from ************. Im on the do not call list.

    Your request was received on July 3, 2025 and we can confirm that we have not attempted to contact the phone number that you provided ###-###-6681 since July 2, 2025.This is when you told our agent that we had the wrong number. We added the phone number you provided ###-###-6681 to our Do Not Call (DNC) list on July 15, 2025 for extra measure.


    Since this is a wrong number issue, someone may have accidentally mis-keyed their phone and inadvertently provided your phone number. We do suggest that you add your phone number to the National Do Not Call Registry, ************************** in an attempt to stop the unwanted calls.

    I went onto their website to get information about health insurance and in two hours I have gotten over 40 phone calls from people trying to sell me health insurance. I want the calls to stop and I want to revoke my permission to use/distribute my personal information.

    I was looking for private insurance for health medical and dental. At the time I did not have option for insurance through work even though working full time- but listed as casual and not benefit eligible. This service , Universal Health Share contacted me to offer me options for private insurance. They gave me full details and stated that My providers I use would be covered the way their coverage works. I specifically asked about their plans details. I was told that I could cancel anytime , be refunded the ***** start up fee and all. After actually needing to use this service, I found out that it does absolutely nothing for me- but takes my ****** a month. I have had to pay out of pocket, I have been embarrassed and shamed . I am an intelligent person- this has been awful and wasted so much of my time . I am appalled at this whole incident . They stated they can only refund me for the last payment. Gave me an email to file yet another complaint with management- would not let me talk to managment on the phone. Sad place for us humans to be in. I even called last week to try to cancel but was talked into keeping the plan becuase the lady told me a pharmacy ( cub foods in chaska ) would be able to use their discount plan. This was also a lie and cost me another month of ****** that I cannot afford . So disappointed . So scammed . Cannot imagine what happens to people that dont know any better - wish I would have figured it out sooner. Awful treatment and misleading . Oh, and I am an ******************** Nurse at two facilities and also work at an orthopedic institute and take care of babies to the elderly- for 20 plus years I have been a nurse , through COVID - never left bedside care . I also have Petitioned for safe staffing and better practices . Slap in the face .

    On May 13, my mom was trying to get quotes to compare on health insurance. She allowed Health Insurance Alliance to call her to get the quotes. The belligerent, rude employee she spoke with tried to start an application for her. She informed him that she did not want that but he would not close the application. Since then, the same company has called approximately 30 times per day. It is not the same person each time, but they usually use the same script so I'm sure it is the same company. They spoof the phone numbers so that it looks like a local caller. We have requested that they stop calling, but they do not honor it. I have reported them to the *** and to the state Attorney General.

    I filled out an online form at getmehealthinsurance.org with the intent to browse information on health insurance options. I mistakenly thought it was a government entity because .org in the **** They have called me over 30 times in 3 hours. I have asked several of the agents calling to remove my contact information from their lists and they all just hang up, then someone new calls a few minutes later. I have also emailed their compliance department requesting to opt out of any further communication but I am still receiving calls every few minutes. I see others on BBB with the exact same issue.

    I had just moved to ********** and did a ****** search to get ***** Care/Medicaid insurance. My search led me to the Health Alliance website, where I was directed to a few questions. I could not even expect that I was led into a trap which was a SCAM website and not a legitimate website by any stretch, and once I had figured that out, they already had my phone number. Their agents are NASTY, they do not stop calling, and are aggressive and rude when you tell them to take you off. Either they blame you for entering your phone number, or they hang up when you ask to be taken off. It's truly dark and disgusting. This company should be sued into the ground.

    I accept you puttin me on the do not call list but I need to respond because: I made this complaint in the hope of receiving and seeing some accountability on the part of you and your business. I told COUNTLESS agents to please take me off the list, and they all either refused blatantly, or hung up, so telling me that  I could've simply told one of the thousands of agents who called me, is a lie. This seems to be a clear pattern of your business and is run like a scam. I fear for all the *** and elderly folks you reach out to who would be less internet savvy and would have to resort to changing their phone numbers to make this stop. I did not make an 'explicit request,' moreover, your company pays for ****** ads and SRO to appear as a sponsored first option when folks search for 'Obamacare' and so I clicked on it and filled out the first text blurb like anyone would, and then they accept their fate of being doomed by your scam company.

    At this point, I am still getting multiple calls per day, as your scamming company has given my phone number to so many insurance companies it's impossible to even be taken off every do not call list. 

     

    At this point, I would like financial compensation for the trouble and stress, as I will likely have to get a new phone number at this point. Otherwise I will join a class action. See attached proof I am still getting calls to this day.

    I filled out information on their website looking for a health insurance plan. The company then began spamming my phone number with multiple calls per hour, some clearly coming from overseas call centers.

    I requested a quote. Someone called me within 1 minute f submitting my request. They could barely speak English and the connection is bad. A woman called back less than a minute later. She also was unprofessional and barely able to express herself in English. I told them to stop calling. Some dude called and repeated said, "Oh no, no, no, no". Since then, they have called me 57 times in 3 hours. I blocked each of the numbers they use, but that doesn't work. They use some sort of group call thing that allows them to go around blocking.

    I signed up to receive more information about health insurance plans. Upon speaking to a representative, I decided I no longer wanted to pursue working with the company. I politely asked to be removed from the call list, and was hung up on. I spoke to three other representatives who were trying to push the sale of a plan. Each time, I asked to be removed from their call list and they hung up. Within the hour, I have received 17 phone calls. I believe this is a scam.
