My late spouse purchased a 1931 Model A for me as a retirement gift in Marsh 2023. Our bank sent the funds to FSD (25,000). The car was delivered. When we went to get it licensed the DMV told us the tag was fraudulent as it was never entered into the system, additionally FSD has failed to provide neither the bank or myself with the title. A complaint was filed with DMV and FSD is ignoring them as well as me. My spouse died unexpectedly in June. I am now making payments on a car I cant drive and I can't sell. I lost his income and I retired which significantly lowered my income and this is causing me financial distress. I have spoken with Steve who assured me he would resolve this issue and yet nothing has happened and it is almost November. I am now faced with the possibility of having to hire an attorney to get this resolved.Initial Complaint

We purchased a 1972 VW from Hot Rod Ranch on 9/8/2023. They delivered the vehicle to us in Apollo Beach as promised. They said the paperwork would follow in the mail but that has not happened to date. We have been trying to contact them ever since but only was able to get a call back from **** ****** (owners son) stating that the company is out of business and he no longer works there as he was fired the day after delivering the vehicle to us. The owner will not answer the phone or call back. We were told that the title and registration would be electrically transferred to the DMV but we highly doubt that is the case now.Initial Complaint

In November of 2022 I had advertised a 1954 Ford F100 for sale for my father-in-law on ******** Marketplace. I was contacted by FSD HOT ROD RANCH of Eustis Florida with an offer of $35,000 but a guaranteed offer to buy the truck at $37,500 if it had not sold at 180 days. I was to keep the title until paid in full. A contract was signed and the truck was picked up by a transport truck and trailer company December 2022. The contract states that they will pay me for the truck in 90 days or as soon as it sells, which ever comes first. If not sold in 90 days I was put on a delayed payment program, NOT TO EXCEED 180 days from start date on contract. I am to be paid $30 a day as bonus money, everyday after the initial 90 day payment period. They now have had my truck for for 193 days without payment. Several calls made to FSD have gone unanswered. When I have gotten through I have been promised that the owner Steve P***** will call me back, which never happens. Was told Loreanna P***** their Office Manager / Finance person had left the state to collect more cars. This was after she emailed me confirmation that the payout information was correct on her end and mine. My story sounds exactly the same as several others posted here on the BBB site for FSD HOT ROD RANCH. Stories of non payment. Other stories of customers that were sold cars without ever given titles! I feel legal action may be needed to receive the money owed to my father-in-law!
I encourage any other potential customers to stay away or risk major problems with this company. They seem to have severely over extended themselves financially!Initial Complaint

Consigned a car with the business they sold it a month and half ago. I was not informed that the car was sold, I found out because the purchaser happened to post pictures of it on ********* Our contract clearly states that I was to be be paid for my vehicle when it sold or at the 90 day mark of our contract which ever comes first. The vehicle sold I have not been paid. They have given my vehicle to another individual there by sessentially stealing it at the point. I have contacted them several times since finding out about the sale. They keep telling me it will be mailed that week and they still have not sent me anything regarding paying me.Initial Complaint

On November 1, 2022 I entered a contract to sell my 1967 Buick Gran Sport 400 with FSD Hotrod Ranch. FSD Hotrod Ranch was to pay me for my vehicle within 90 days for the amount of $34,000. If they exceeded 90 days, they agreed to pay me an additional $30 per day over the 90 days. The additional $30 per day is called "bonus money". After an additional 90 days (180 days total), FSD Hotrod Ranch was to send me a check for the agreed upon amount plus the bonus money. This payment has not been received. Today, 6/23/23, my 1967 Buick Gran sport 400 shows as "Sold" on the FSD Hotrod Ranch website. I still have not received a payment for my vehicle. The contract can be provided upon request.Initial Complaint

My father-in-law purchased a **** ****** ***** from FSD Hot Rod Ranch on April 26, 2023. We are in California and the funds were delivered via wire transfer. I continually texted Charleen, the salesperson as to when the paperwork will be sent, she did not respond multiple times. It took them almost 2 weeks to send the paperwork to sign for the car. Loreanna, who handles the paperwork requested he not date any of the paperwork. He signed and sent everything back right away. For weeks we kept trying to get the car shipped. Constantly told by Loreanna that she was meeting with her shipper on Tuesday, they told no one was biting on the transport because it was only set for $2000. They set that price we didn't. Finally told her to bump it up then suddenly activity. We finally received the vehicle via transport on May 22, 2023. From the time of wire transfer April 26, 2023 to the present we have continually asked for the title and bill of sale, none of which have been delivered. We have been ghosted by all parties Lori (Loreana) being the main contact for the transaction since May 24, 2023. They will not answer any calls or return any texts.
Upon further research we found many recent complaints about consigners not being paid and buyers not receiving their title. I will attach a copy of the complaints we found for your information.
My father-in-law is a Vietnam Vet and is 74 years old living with congestive heart failure. He has wanted one of these cars for years and finally got one and can't drive it. He paid $62,950.00 for the vehicle and $2500 for the vehicle transport.
With some further research I was able to contact the consigner of the vehicle to let him know that we have the vehicle and when it was sold, and he has yet to receive his money. They never told him it was sold. Fortunately, the consigner still retains the Title and is due to be paid from FSD Hot Rod Ranch. His agreement is $50,000. I do not know any other specifics of his contract. He needs to be paid in order for us to receive the title.
This company seems to have made a practice of deceiving their customers both, buyers and sellers/consigners. At present we have a vehicle that we cannot register or use and the seller is not being paid. Furthermore, an inquiry last week was made by a third party about the 1941 Willys, which to this day is still showing for sale on their website. In his inquiry a gentleman named Steve answered the phone (689) 688-6348 and the caller asked if the vehicle that was sold over a month ago, was still for sale, at which time he said yes. More conversation took place and the caller asked to make an appointment to see the car the following day, then suddenly Steve’s tune changed, and he said oh wait that car sold a couple of days ago (another lie). These people are liars, thieves, and scam artists. They should not be allowed to operate.
We just want the seller to be paid what is rightfully his and for us to receive the title directly from the consigner. We do not want the title going to FSD Hot Rod Ranch as we will likely never see it. Loreanna has been horrendously deceitful, and they need to make this right.
We have also filed a complaint with the Florida DMV Bureau of Dealer Services-DMV Region 2.
Principal is Stephen P***** ***** ******** and the contact we dealt with is Loreanna P***** ***** ********* the main office number is ***** ********.
We are at a loss and hope you can help.Initial Complaint

regarding the purchase of a 1978 Toyota Fj43 from FSD Hot Rod Ranch LLC. Please find below a comprehensive overview of the issue and relevant details:
1. Transaction Details:
- Date of Purchase: March 22, 2023
- Seller: FSD Hot Rod Ranch LLC
- Address: **** *********** ** ***** **** ******* ** *****
2. Complaint Description:
On the aforementioned date, I purchased a 1978 Toyota Fj43 from FSD Hot Rod Ranch LLC. Regrettably, I have encountered multiple issues with the purchase, which have yet to be adequately addressed by the seller. The primary concerns are as follows:
a. Title Delay: Despite completing the purchase, I have not received the title for the vehicle. This situation prevents me from driving or registering the vehicle. All attempts to resolve this matter amicably have been met with unfulfilled promises and no reasonable response from the seller.
b. Misrepresentation of Vehicle:
- Model Misrepresentation: The vehicle was advertised and sold as a 1968 Toyota Fj43, but subsequent confirmation has revealed that it is a 1978 model.
- False Features: The advertisement claimed that the vehicle had heating and air conditioning capabilities, which have since been verified as untrue. The vehicle does not possess a functioning heating system.
- Undisclosed Mechanical Issues: Despite being verbally assured that the vehicle was free from any mechanical problems or leaks, I have discovered several issues upon inspection, including a damaged radiator and carburetor that leak, minor suspension and steering problems that were not disclosed, and interior damage to a door panel.
3. Attempts to Resolve the Issue:
I have made numerous attempts to resolve this matter amicably, but FSD Hot Rod Ranch LLC has failed to provide a satisfactory resolution or respond adequately to my concernsInitial Complaint

Steve J****** contacted me about a car I posted on marketplace for sale. He sent a contract a sent someone to pick up vehicle. Communication was great up until May 11th 2023 when Loreanna called my husband and said that the car had sold and the company that was doing the financing (******** Credit) Needed the title. We questioned this and she reassured us that we had to sign and overnight the title in a prepaid envelope that she emailed us. She said that we would hear from her by the end of the day on May 19,2023. Of course Loreanna never contacted us. I contacted Zelda at ******** ****** on May 24,2023 and she sent me an email of proof of wire transfer to FSD HOT ROD RANCH FIR THE CAR! It has been since 5/18/23 no communication! They will not answer phone calls, text messages, or return voicemails! We want paid for the car ASAP!!! Mr Phelps the owner has even lied and so has her daughter Loreanna! Refund amount is $42,000!Initial Complaint

I purchased a 1934 Outlaw Performance Chevy 3-window silver coupe glass body street rod from the FSD Hot Rod Ranch, in Eustis FL. on March 3, 2023, for 45K dollars. (Bill of Sale & other supporting documents attached). The vehicle was finally delivered to my address in NC on May 7th for an additional $900 delivery charge. The vehicle did not arrive with any title. I was told that the title would be sent separately on May 8th. Since then, no title has been sent. I have contacted them repeatedly for it, each time being told that it would be sent right away, but NOTHING is being done. It has been over two months since purchase and more than 2 weeks since I received the car and I am concerned that I am being scammed for no apparent reason. I can't understand why they won't send the title to me as I have the car and they have my money. Now, my phone calls, texts and emails are being ignored. I need a bona fide title to this vehicle ASAP or a full refund of my money, as I cannot register, tag, drive, or sell this vehicle without it. PLEASE HELP ME!!! ***** ********
