    Was sent mite infested, dehydrated, dying agama lizards. Absolutely shameful.

    We take accusations like this very seriously, especially after ********************************************************************************************************* the industry. We ship hundreds of butterfly agamas each year and have never once received a verified complaint of mite infestation. In this case, no photos, emails, or messages of any kind were ever sent to us regarding any issue with the animals.


    The customer received three agamas in total. If there were a legitimate concern, we would have expected timely communication with supporting images so we could address it appropriately. Instead, we received no contact whatsoever.
    We stand behind the health and quality of our animals and invite anyone reading this to reach out directly to us with any concerns. Transparency, customer support, and animal welfare are at the core of what we do.

    I received my Goliath birdeater tarantula from Big Apple Pet Supply, and to no one's surprise, it exceeded all my expectations! I have purchased numerous animals from this company ever since they first opened for business. I am a customer for life!

    I purchased two CB juvenile green keel-bellied lizards which both came overnight and in amazing shape. Im tempted to believe that a lot of the negative reviews on here and scattered around ****** (especially complaining about parasites) are from people not reading that unless it states CB then they are Wild Caught (which they specify on their website). Overall great experience and would order again.

We have shipped over 2.1 million orders in 32 years so even if people found 150 bad reviews online that's the tiniest fraction of a percent imaginable considering the volume and years in business.     I purchased what was listed and described as a baby hognose snake. For $300. what I received was in undeveloped hatchling that would not eat. I contacted the sellerand describe the issue. They assured me it had *** for them. and offered me a sentiment of ?? emoji . A month later, I reached out again, asking if they would please take him back since they had assured me he did eat for them and they refused and sent me a text, reminding me of their three day live guarantee .which is a bad policy and one of no accountability. These animals should be well developed and feeding before they are sold. Despite Of my efforts and many attempts to care for this little guy he refused to eat under any condition and he died and Im out $350. Im 53 years old and I have lots of experience raising various species. I feel that big apple pet supply should update. Its live guarantee to a full 30 days like the other pet supply stores have and they should also offer me a refund or another hognose. That is healthy. Thank you.

    Were sorry to hear this, though we must clarify that your purchase was made over nine weeks agowell outside our clearly stated 3-day live arrival guarantee. After such a long period, theres no way for us to know what care was or wasnt provided. In addition, that's not an undeveloped hatchling, that snake took two meals voluntarily at our facility before it was shipped to you.

    Website showed current stock of ****. I texted to verify stock, using the phone number they provided and was told, "Yes, they are in stock and you should see them as "in stock" on our website". I placed the order for next day delivery. The next day, I received an email, that stated, they had none in stock and would need to wait at least a week for a new shipment to arrive before my order could be fulfilled. Be careful when ordering from them...what they tell you via text may not be true.

    What this person indicates is not quite truthful. At the time he texted us we had them in-stock and by the time he placed the order we ran out of stock of the frogs. Note that *************************** was continually rude and threatening because the frogs were for his daughter's birthday and he tried to order them the day before her birthday. His frustration for literally waiting until the final hour before shipping cutoff is not our fault, it is his. We ship live reptiles, they are not a piece of plastic made on an assembly line. We do not have a never ending supply of live animals. This review of his is unjustified and mean spirited.

    We consistently and diligently texted this customer back that she did not place any order with us. She refused to listen even though we asked her to simply contact her bank. Our system shows clearly that she did create an account but never actually placed the order. She is obviously incorrect and a very confused individual. From our back end of our website...

    I ordered a Suriname red tail boa from these guys and he arrived quick and healthy! Beautiful animal plus he is very tame! Didnt even hiss! Great experience!!!

    Ordered a baby yellow rat snake that the website says is captive bred. The snake we received looks to be a juvenile and has to have been wild caught. It musks and bites the second you try to get near it. We own several animals and reptiles that my 2 year old can hold and be around. This is one that she can't get near. Just be honest about what you are selling. Definitely would not recommend this company

    Customer ordered an EVERGLADES snake and NOT a yellow rat snake on order ***** several weeks ago and it is 100% a CB animal bred in *******. This is nothing short or libel and we will hold the customer responsible for such a review. They have been bred in ******* for more than a decade and we have over a dozen breeding pairs.
