*** agreement which began June 24, 2024 was to negotiate with ****** creditor to reduce the weekly payments or a final payoff amount which would have been lower than originally stated. The agreement was to take 20% of the payment for doing this. I was told only 20% of each payment amount would go to them, leaving the remaining balance left for negotiation to the creditor. I have paid over $30,000 to this company and when I checked the bank account the negotiation money was supposed to go to, it was only $3821 there! They took EVERY dime of the money for their fees and legal fees even though a lawyer NEVER represented me on anything. I have been charged $8193.10 for legal fees that have never been utilized. In addition, they took $16,386.20 for their fees and additional $706.49 in bank fees in which no negotiation or settlement was done on my behalf.Initial Complaint

I was told by their staff via email that I would always have access and control over the escrow account after paying my retainer to the company. I paid in $24k and had roughly $3600 in my escrow account when I discontinued the program. They removed the balance in its entirety and claimed it was for fees when I couldnt continue with their program because my business had gone under. The only unrealistic aspect of this situation is MCA Resolve's promise to manage my creditors. However, MCE Resolve primarily focuses on collecting money from businesses without genuinely fulfilling that promise, which makes this agreement impractical. I would be better off negotiating directly with my creditors. It seems that MCE Resolve operates in a way that profits from struggling businesses by having them sign a questionable debt relief agreement through DocuSign.What has MCE Resolve done for ************************ since the first payment of $1,404.10 on April 1, 2025? I hired MCA resolve to handle 2 MCAs I was behind on. We started contracting in July of 2023. I started paying then $6@ a month for several months then lowered it to $4k a month. After paying them for almost a full year I was shocked to see my escrow fund has just 13k in it. Please be aware this company front loads all its fees. On top of that they require wellly payments that result in hundreds of dollars of additional fees monthly It took them over a year to settle my first McA which was 46k. With their fees attached I ended up paying the full amount of the loan I had a b additional loan amount of 89k to settle and was badgering t thhem to set up a payment plan. They were not above to get any reasonable monthly payout started to settle. Even though I was paying them 4k a month I have now heard from their legal team that they have received a judgment against my company for the full amount plus nearly 20K in fees. All in all I have paid tens of thousands to Mca resolve and ended up owing the entire amounts of my loans. This has been an awful experience and please look elsewhere for help With your situation. You enrolled in a 17-month program and immediately requested to lower your weekly payments upon entering. This significantly extended the duration of your program and impacted the pace at which settlements could be negotiated.
Despite your claim that youve not heard from our legal team, we have contacted you regularlytypically on a weekly basis. Additionally, you were assigned an attorney who represented you in court proceedings and engaged in negotiations on your behalf.
Its important to understand that MCA Resolve, like many resolution firms, front-loads fees to cover the intensive legal and negotiation work that occurs early in the program. These fees are disclosed clearly in our agreement. While we understand your frustration regarding the escrow balance and the timeline of your settlements, the reduced weekly contributions you selected had a direct impact on the funding pace and the ability to secure favorable outcomes.
Furthermore, the delay in settling your second MCA was due in part to the limited flexibility of the creditor and the payment plan options available based on your financial disclosures. Our legal team worked diligently to avoid judgment, but unfortunately, without timely settlement funds or creditor cooperation, court action became a risk.

In August 2024 I contacted MCA resolved to assist in a consolidation and repayment, structured for Main Street financial as well as legal protection from any I was to make deposits weekly after making initial fees and did this until my business was not making money anymore, and I requested an or Decrease in my payment Based off of what the company was currently bringing in. I was told that no additional arrangements could be made. I then took it upon myself to look at the escrow account where the funds Would be held until my settlement was made. MCA resolve withdrew all money as soon as it was deposited from my business account out of the escrow. *** paid over $11,000 to this company and they stole it by removing it from the escrow account established and not resolving judgments filed which froze accounts that were to be used to make payments to MCA resolve for their services. This place is a scam at best and they need to return all monies paid. Below please see a letter that I have written to them and also filing this complaint with the Better Business Bureau so that this doesnt happen to anyone else.******* ********* and ***** **** with MCA resolve have basically told me that I have lost/ forfeited all monies paid in, and even scolded me for contacting SAS where the escrow was held whenever I discovered there was a zero balance in this account. I wanted to clarify your enrollment details and payment status. You enrolled in August 2024 due to hardship, as you were previously paying around $3,000 weekly to your lender and could no longer afford it. We provided an initial savings of almost half that amount.
As outlined in your contract, legal coverage is not available if you miss two or more payments. You made a total of eight payments, four of which were rejected, and more than half were adjusted due to your circumstances. Unfortunately, we cannot continue covering your legal expenses unless you maintain active status in the program. There is no reason for you to accept to pause the payments due to natural disasters and then state we had 2.5 payments remaining and then cancel it out when this was agreed upon. Additionally, there isnt an answer to what was done about the money removed from Escrow.
please see the attached photos for proof of your action, which is breaching the contract.Also, with 2.5 payments remaining you informed me that I would need to re-enroll and would be charged an astronomical fee to do so. We had legal involvement and you were not representing us as we should have been. The coverage for legal services was not performed. Contractors received notices stating that they were to pay directly to them and not to us for job completions. This contractor no longer works with us due to this situation- we have lost thousands of dollars, not only in work related contracts but also in the field due to the actions of Original Creditor serving papers/subpoenas on companies we had contracts with which made it difficult to pay.
Additionally, our accounts were frozen, and remain frozen with over 10k due to the negligence to uphold your end of the contract.
again, money being paid, was then noticed to be removed from escrow account by ***. Money that could have been used to negotiate. Instead, we begged for assistance, payments were missed due to frozen accounts. How are we to pay with frozen accounts?Please refund monies removed from escrow by MCA Immediately.

I was advised my ***** ****** at MCA Resolve that they could help me pay off my finance amount with Skyinance alot faster and save on the interest. I set up with them to pull out of my account weekly. I kept asking them to find out what we needed to do to pay Skyinance off. ********* had put a lien on two of my companies commissions that I get monthly. I talked to *** at MCA resolve about getting me a settlement and that is when I started wondering about them. He kept telling me he contacted Skyinance and they said I still owed over $63,000 and that took into effect all that I had paid and was on hold for. I knew this could not be correct. I decided to call *** at ********* today. He advised me that MCA Resolve had not called him at all and had sent him any money, that I had been scammed. I am a 69 year old woman that has worked all her life and just found out I have pre-cancer colon. I signed up with this company August 2024 to help get some relief with debt. They sent me a contract that outlined what they would be able to settle my debt for and their fees. Everything seemed reasonable in the beginning. However, as the months passed and I checked the escrow account I noticed that there were a lot more fees being taken than what were mentioned in the contract. I also received a call from my *** and she stated that they will need to extend my payments past the end date of December 1, 2024. Something didnt seem right to me. Once I reviewed the account and contract deeper I noticed that I am paying much more than what was in the contract and unfortunately more that my initial debt. I then called my *** and sent an email to stop any drafts and remove me from the program and refund the balance in the escrow account. My *** responded and stated that she will stop payments and send a document for me to sign to have the escrow account balance refunded. Its now been a week and I have not heard anything from her and I have sent multiple emails and made several phone calls with no call back. I setup with MCA resolve to negotiate MCA debts. I was given a contract with the broken down terms and conditions thinking they could help me I moved forward. They negotiated the first account and then the second account they could not they decided at the end of the contract they needed more time, however during this process I was being sued by the other company. I ended up settling out of court and now owe 11k more than original contract. They refunded what was in my escrow account but took out an additional amount because they say the amount owed to the company was different than originally started. This however is not true because I had to settle which cost me more money. MCA Resolve owes me the other 5100 dollars they (stole in my opinion) took out after they realized they could not do as advertised and did nothing but cost my business thousands of dollars. The company is a scam and does not hold up their end of the deal. They charge you and charge you and make it your fault because you got yourself in the position in the first place.Business Response
