            Date of service 7/28/23. I have a contract with Atlas for no charge service calls, parts if the appliance is less than 20 years old. I called Atlas for a Fill Valve only for my standard toilet which is 10 years old. When the technician arrived he said it was a "one piece toilet" and parts are not covered. (The service contract states that a "standard one piece toilet" IS covered for parts). I asked how much it would be for the fill valve to be replaced. He called the office and I heard the person on the speakerphone reply $*****. He asked if I wanted to go ahead with replacing fill valve for ***** and I would have to pay at time of service. I agreed and pd by Check #***. He said it came with a flapper and did I want that installed too. I said no because I had just replaced the flapper myself 3 months ago. He said there would be no charge, so I said ok. One month later I received a bill for $***** for the flapper. Atlas will not service my contract which ends 4/3/24 so I have been missing 5 months of no charge service, in addition to being wrongly charged the additional $***** for something I did not request or need. And I should not have paid anything for parts in the first place because it is "A standard one piece toilet" which is covered in the contract. I have called the office and gotten nowhere and have found my calls met with a belligerent Atlas representative . By not paying the ***** I am not getting the service calls for other appliances, but by paying ***** for a flapper I did not want isnt right either.

            Female customer ********************** rep is very rude. I was told a repair person would be available at a certain day and time for a service call. When I followed up in the morning she basically said no one was available- insisting I had no appointment. Basically she was and is very rude. Threatened me with nonsense and refused to do business. This is second time I have spoken with Atlas. The man I spoke with walked me through everything and gave me an appointment. She, however didnt think it was warranted and extremely rude. Spoke harshly of the owner of my apartment and myself. I dont know this person- I dont think she is capable of communicating well with clients and doesnt appear to actually want to help.
