I had my roof replaced in 2019 by Coastal Roof and waterproofing. The end of June 2023, I had a sliding door replaced and at such time noticed water damage above and around the old sliding door frame. The corner bead was rusted and sheet rock was damaged.In taking a further look, the water causing this damage was from an exterior roof leak.When roof was installed in 2019, the workers did not put flashing over the stucco which caused the leaks and water damage in the house.I contacted the owner *********************** via text on 6/28/23. I heard no response from him. Then on 7/1/23 ************** showed up at my house to fix outside roof leak. I discussed the water damage in the interior of the house, which **** acknowledged. He then contacted ****** about the situation. **** told me ****** would reach out to me after 7/4/23 to fix the problem.I didnt hear from ****** so, I tried to text him, no response & called him, no response. I texted **** and no response. I then tried to call the office for which I found out their ************* isnt there anymore. I luckily was able to find their *************** location.I started calling the office several times a week, talking to different receptionists all promising me, ****** will get back to me. Hes on a roof. & yes, theres a log of messages from me listed in their system. It was completely frustrating how many times i called & had to explain the situation to a different person. Finally on 7/25/23 *** from the company called me because someone told him about all my messages and he wanted to see if he could help. I explained the situation, he said he would get back to me and then he disappeared too! I tried calling & texts. I decided to call back the office in Deerfield, the receptionist told me to send emails to the ****************** to explain what was going on. No response. I called on Friday 8/4/23 left another message no response.. My warranty is valid until 4/19/24. I just want the interior water damage fixed.
