    After they sent me an invoice for a specific amount, and I paid it via apple cash, they stated they could not ship my item until I paid an additional fee that they forgot to add to the invoice. This additional fee is not listed anywhere on their website, and they will not ship the item till I pay, and will they cancel my order and send me a refund. They then became rude and demanding- all over text message saying I don't even know teh name of the person/people I'm dealing with. Shady business practices and horrible service

    We bought two Indonesia tree snakes a male ball python a month ago yesterday and on Sunday afternoon we found all three snake dead and today we found our green tree snake dead and he or she isnt a month old yet Im so heartbroken by this

    It is January 15th 2025 another crappy review. bought live animal on Sunday January 12 2025. yes cold time of year. they email me 2 days later January 14th saying no live arrival guarantee because of cold. i can understand that. offer no refund. but offer to hold it longer. hold it at *** ex for pick up or deliver anyway. i told them i took off work the 15th because that's the delivery date when i ordered. I tell them "i need to know if i will for sure still get it tomorrow (tomorrow is the 15th) because i have taken off for this delivery" They ensured me yes they will. if they had said no we will not ship its too cold. i would have went to work as i need the money. Later that evening (the 14th) i get a confirmation email that it had shipped via ***** and will arrive at the facility for pick up by 10:30. at this point im very very pleased and excited. i wake up and check and see it shipped and is only a few hour drive away or a 1.5 hour flight. Still no big deal. Finally its 3 pm on the 15th and i email them asking if it will still arrive as i cant recieve it the 16th. they tell me they never even shipped it cause its too cold. they offer me a credit, a reship later, or a 15%restock fee. then tell me it will take several buisness days to process any choice i make. what a joke this company is. I WOULD HAVE BEEN FINE IF THEY HAD BEEN UPFRONT SAYING ITS TOO COLD! but they GAVE ME TRACKING INFO!!!!! This company needs to be shut down and investigated for severe fraud.

    The frogs recieved are in horrible condition! Of the 7 from there, only 2 were still living in a week! They will offer a replacement, but you have to pay shipping AGAIN! The replacements are not healthy either! I can't believe people keep buying from them! I've learned my ****** and will not buy there again!

    Despite the plethora of terrible reviews, I have had nothing less than good experiences dealing with UGR. Theyve always sent healthy animals and I have yet to have DOA for anything I have gotten from them. When you order wild caught animals, you have to be aware of the risk you are taking and that wild caught is not a beginners game. You need to be prepared to treat for internal parasites immediately upon receiving the animal in your care. For wild caught to thrive, you need to replicate their natural environment as close as you possibly can. You cant just order these reptiles and toss them in a tank that you threw together thats missing half the things they need to thrive (proper lighting, proper temperature variations, proper humidity variations, etc). You cant have an animal for a week that arrived in good condition pass away and then blame the company. ??????? If you dont know what youre doing, just say that. ?? Ive won auctions as an Elite member with literally zero issues.

    *** bought several animals from them and all have come as represented. Recently they started auctions which give you incredible opportunities to buy animals for much lower prices. Their auctions are listed nearly a week out allowing you to plan for that auction. Ive won multiple with the most recent being an Amazon puffing snake that was DOA and they responded faster then *** could update the delivery status. The purchases before that were a ****** tiger rat snake and a Malpolon moilensis and both immediately took frozen thawed and have grown considerably in good health. Underground reptiles has really updated their business and its awesome. Cant wait for the next animal I get from them.

    This is by far the worst company to ever buy anything from. I purchased and paid for two box turtles, then received an email from a transport company that wanted $1750. Additionally, to ship them when I contacted the seller, he said it was all on me. I explained I already paid him the shipping and he blocked my calls. I never received my turtles, and now I am out the money I paid for them. Worst company ever.

    I feel like they're a scam company the fact that after I paid 950 dollars the shipping company is telling me I need to pay 600 more to deliver my animal's. Just seems super fishy

    If I could give negative stars I would. Underground reptiles should in no way be allowed to be in business. I purchased a tarantula I have been wanting and arrived DOA. *hey have zero clue how to properly pack a tarantula for safe and secure shipping. Basically they put it in a vile that was to large for the tarantula added some **** put it in a box and shipped it. *here was zero moisture and no heat pack. So I called UR and they told me I had to file a claim so I did and a day later I still didnt hear back so I called and they said I didnt file a claim even though I had a ticket #. So after that they said we will ship a replacement. I said to the gentleman please pack it up correctly he told me they know what there doing they ship ****s of spiders weekly. Well the next day I get a call from UR telling me the * I ordered was out of stock. Ok so I pick another * but it get worse. *he replacement *arantula also came DOA. It was placed in a large deli cup about 10 times to big for it with zero **** or anything to protect it in shipping. I called and demanded a full refund. Surprisingly enough they did refund me. *he way they pack up there spiders is borderline animal abuse. PLEASE DONt BUY FROM UNDERGROUND REPTILES. *here are so many better places like Fear not tarantulas, Franksbuggin661, *he spider shoppe. Just dont buy from Underground youll be happy you didnt.

    They'll ship you their sickest stock that are "captive bred" just so they don't gotta deal with vet bills; or to squeeze as much money they can out of consumers. They put a nice show pretending they cared about people's animals when ******* was cracking down on reptiles??. Don't worry though karma is a thing.
