Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/11/16) */ We never refused to fix the valley shingles required to pass final. I have personally asked the owner several times to just call us when he is ready to meet as he requested. Our foreman would meet with him personally & call for the final. If he would like to call us & pay us the amount owed of $10,090.95 we will schedule the final. He has never called us back or paid anything at all. The shingles did not properly lay down in the back of the home after installation and a warranty claim with ***** was initiated. ***** sent him a check/voucher for the shingles and was told that heat will seal the shingles. Give it time. Now the owner says that the shingles have laid down and the roof looks great. I told the owner very nicely in a letter that the shingle manufacturer required 60 days to review the claim and our time limit to file the lien was prior to the 60 days. Mr. F******** did deliver a lien to the owner but we decided not to record it because we trusted that he would pay now that he was satisfied with the roof. A lien is about the only legal measure a roofer has if an account is not paid and must be recorded 90 days from the start of the project.
