    Back in Oct 2023 BTN Hurricane Advisors replaced my roof so I can get it updated for home insurance purposes. Fast forward to about 3 months ago. A roof leaf started appearing in the ceiling between 2 rooms. I had a 3 party inspector come by to check it out. The leak spread part way into at least one of the rooms and caused the inspector to accidentally step through the ceiling and cause a hole. I believe that the shingles, underlayment, or flashing may not have been installed correctly. I just want the company to properly fix/replace the damage.

    We understand your concerns regarding the leak youve noticed between the two rooms. However, we would like to clarify a few important points:
    You mentioned that you first noticed this issue about three months ago, but this is the first time were hearing about it. Its important that we are notified as soon as possible when something like this occurs so we can properly assess and respond in a timely manner.
    The roof replacement was completed back in October 2023 and successfully passed final inspection by the building department. If there had been any issues with the shingles, underlayment, or flashing, the inspector would not have approved the job. This confirms that the roof met all code requirements and standards at the time of completion.
    Please note that the labor warranty on your roof has expired, as the project was completed over two years ago. However, the manufacturer warranty on your roofing materials is still in effect. If you'd like us to assist in checking whether the issue may be material-related, we can do that and also help coordinate with someone in your area to address the repair. Alternatively, you're welcome to use a contractor of your choice. In either case, any repair work required at this point would not be covered under the original labor warranty and would be at your expense.

    Back in September, a salesman came to my house & showed me where I should change my sliding *************** window. He explained that the price would be$25000 . Then he showed me me on his cell phone a $10000 government ***** that he was 99% sure I would qualify for. After going over everything & organizing a loan, he asked me to sign the contract. It was very long, in small print. He said, not to worry, just sign. I , like an idiot, signed it. Before he left I asked if I could cancel if I decided & he said no,I had already signed. I should have read all of the small print as it stated I had 3 days to cancel. He also said not to worry about the *** as they would deal with it. After 3 months, I dealt with HOA . Since then, I have called the salesman & the main office many times asking whats happening with the *****. I applied with the ***** address they gave me & have heard nothing. The # to call for the application said it was not a recognized #. Im sick of the whole thing.I did get one call from the ************ said that when the job is done, the ***** ********* would come. I may be wrong but I dont think that is correct.

Unfortunately, we cannot submit the ***** application on your behalf, as it must be completed through the official My Safe Florida Home portal.     Regarding the *** approval, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. Although we submitted the application twice, they initially stated they had not received it. Fortunately, the *** approval has now been *****ed. At this stage, your materials are in production and should be ready in approximately four weeks. The permit application has also been submitted to the city and is currently pending approval.

    I used them for my roof new an it's over a year old I called because it leaks they said it was good for a yr service call is 400 to come to look at it an it wasn't leaking before they replaced it I pd ***** for roof I'm having somebody else come out to fix it my neighbor did her roof they did an excellent job now I have to pay extra for that .I can't trust btnh there rip offs I'm sure there doing it to other people just want to make sure there not doing it to other people .I took out all my retirement money I had .it's very upsetting it's just me an I try to make ends meet.iwould not recommend this company seems once the roof is done an after a yr u have leaks u pay more which I'm sure some people do.its very upsetting specially when I pd for all that money. The only thing they want is your money u call them it takes forever to them to call u back .I called my neighbors roofing company they came out that day they care for there customers an that's what counts .Will never use **** for anything

    I appreciate you reaching out. Please note that our company provides 1 year labor warranty and 30 years manufacturer warranty. The final inspection for the roof passed on 08/11/2023 so the labor warranty is expired.

    We were contacted by you on 12/30/2024 in regards to the leak in the porch area, which we did not touch as we do not do porch roofs. We are able to send someone to inspect and see where the leak is coming from, and if there are any issues we will address them, the materials are covered by warranty but as mentioned earlier the labor is no longer under warranty.

    I am sorry that you fill that way and for any inconvenience caused to you because of it. Please reach out to us directly asap and I can see if I can send someone to inspect at no charge, I will do my best.

    Had A/C installed in January 2024. Called in May temperature in house was85. They have refused to come out and repair. 4 appointments they were a no show. Working with ******** ( finance company) they have hung up and not returned their calls either.

    Per our inspection today - there is no issue with the *** We did an adjustment to the freon, but it seems that the issue is the attic insulation.

     

    At this point, the best suggestion we can offer is to get the attic insulation inspected / re-done.
    As mentioned, no issues were found in the ** and it works perfectly fine.

    Roof was installed in October of 2023. In May of 2024 I noticed that one piece of fascia was a different color than the rest on the front of the east-facing part of the roof. Wanting to make sure the roof was secure, I texted BTNH *************) and asked it be evaluated to make sure my roof was secure before storm season began. I texted pictures of the area of concern. A representative and decide there were no issues; the fascia that was a different color was pressure-treated wood and intact, and if I wanted it white it would be up to me to paint it. On May 24th I then received an invoice for $300, stating that was for inspection only, and had any issues been found relating to labor there would have been no charge, "including removing the charge for the inspection." I have spoken with a legal representative, who stated that I should have been informed of the possible $300 charge on the phone call before the representative was sent out. My concern is what seems an exorbitant fee when no work was actually done. Thank you.

    On May 22nd you reached out to us to inform us that a part of the fascia fell off. We asked for photos but in the photos we didn't see any part that came off.
    We asked for photos but you didn't have one that is showing the part that came off. As you mentioned in the complaint as well - had there had been an issue with the roof it is covered under our warranty and no charge would have been made.
    Since no issue was found and an inspection was conducted for the roof  (we also sent you photos from the roofer, as you requested), the roofer needs to get paid - and as you know, we didn't ask to get it ourselves (BTNH Advisors LLC) but the payment is going straight to the roofer.

    I am sorry if you were not informed of the potential fee in advance, but the service call was not covered under our warranty.

    First of all I would like to apologize of any issue that accord.

    The soffit is not part of the contract. It is not part of the roofing system and we do not install / fix soffit.
    If there are any issues with the fascia, please send the office photos so we can address that and fix it if needed.
    If there are still ************ also provide us with photos and I will send someone out there to take care of it.

    In regards to the plywood - you met with the roofer and he offered you to open the roof and show you the plywood, but you did not want to go this way.
    The roof passed the final inspection and there are no issues with it. Also, the permit should be at your property and on the permit there is the information of the materials used.

    In regards to the bill, there are issues with ******* Financial, ********************, as they can not fund the job at the moment.
    We have not been paid.

    I am writing to lodge a complaint against BTNH Windows regarding the installation of ************** at my house. This project has been an ongoing source of frustration due to multiple issues that are yet to be addressed by the company, despite numerous attempts to reach out.1. Poor Installation: Upon installation, they discovered that one of the windows was incorrectly measured, leading the installer to cut the wall to fit the window - a clear oversight on their part and caused unnecessary inconvenience and potential structural damage to my property.2. Broken Window Sill: During the installation, the installer broke one of the window *****. They purchased a replacement sill from ********** without informing me, and it did not match the appearance of the other window *****. This is unacceptable and does not reflect the quality I expected from BTNH Windows. There will be additional cost for me now to adjust the other ***** to match and paint!3. Incomplete *********** Installation: The most egregious issue pertains to the installation of a door with a specific design. The door was initially installed in December, but the chosen design did not fit right. I was informed that the correct design would take 6 weeks to arrive. However, it was not installed until June 26, with noticeable gaps between the design and the door. I was assured that an installer would return to caulk these gaps once the design had dried. Regrettably, as of Oct 1 , no one from BTNH Windows has rectified this issue, leaving my door looking unfinished and aesthetically unappealing. I had to get another company to remediate 4. ************* of Communication: Despite numerous attempts to communicate with BTNH Windows reps in July, the situation remains unresolved. I keep being told that they are searching for an installer to address the gaps, months have passed and I had to address this myself. After quickly accepting my $27K payment they lost any sense of urgency to address issues.

    The production team did advise you that there's not much we can do about the design as it is an add on to the door.
    If you want, we can send someone for the caulking but it would not make it look right.

    In regards to the other photos you sent, this is the first time you are informing us of other issues but we do not see anything wrong with the windows.

    I've been trying to get my gutter fixed I've called many of times I'm just getting the run around it was done Aug 9th I spent all of this money for a roof an can't come out to fix it I was told there suppose to come out today so far nothing I will not be doing business with this company never again once its done your done only money trying to get gutter put back on right

    We are a roofing company and if gutters are needed to be removed in order to replace the roof, we are removing them & reinstalling them.
    But we are not responsible for the shape of the gutters as they are not new and there's not much we can do.

    We sent our crew back to fix whatever they can, but we do not fix gutters.

One of top windows in living room was cracked, also send him photos, at this time no correspondence from him. Before seeing cracked window. I sent ******************* a check for$32,726.     We are currently waiting for the manufacturer to let us know what they need in order to get the correct measurements for the glass.

     

    Please be advised that this is not a stress crack and it is not covered by warranty, but we are getting it replaced out of courtesy.
