Same complaints everyone else made. By the time I realized I was being billed it was too late, (they only refunded me one payment, the last one). They said I was shipped three packages, but I only received two, and one of those was the free trial !!!Review from Gregory T

I ordered what was called a trial order. A packet came to me with 30 pills and I was charged $5.95 for shipping/handling. The product didn`t work so I just figured only $5.95 spent so no big deal. Then I saw a charge of $79.95 on my CC so I called customer service. They told me I signed up for a 2 week trial and since I didn`t cancel in that 2 week period the 30 day money back guarantee doesn`t apply. I went through their website and my confirming email and no where does it state a two week trial or I was signing up for additional charges. They refuse to honor their guarantee so I am disputing with my CC company. I have now seen numerous reviews the same as mine. I normally will vet a company before something like this but it appeared obvious that it was a "trial" that would only cost $5.95. It is obvious that their product isn`t viable or they wouldn`t have to resort to deception in order to separate people from their money. I guess I will stick to Amazon since they have iron type guarantees for purchases.Review from Michael M

My experience is the same as everyone else who has written a review. Did the trial, paid the $5.95 shipping, plus another $1.95 for some random shipping guarantee. Then my card was charged $80 about 2 1/2 weeks later. I didn't realize that I had agreed to get regular shipments or that my card would be charged for the "trial". It seems the goal was not to help me with my sleep problems, but was mostly to sign me up for shipments. Shame on me for not paying extra close attention, but like everyone else who has left a review, I don't recall it being very obvious that I was signing up for ongoing shipments or would be charged if I didn't take action in 14 days. Buyer beware!!!My other difference was that unfortunately I didn't even notice this happened until the 2nd shipment. So I'm out $170 for a product that didn't help me. I called the number they instructed me to call with no response. No message or anything. I then found them on the internet and used their contact message to ask them to cancel whatever I unintentionally signed up for. They did respond, and I have now processed an RMA, but I will NOT be getting a refund for my original "trail" purchase. Also, note that you can buy this same product for $44 from a ton of online sellers, so the fact that they sign you up for $80 per month just adds insult to injury. My main complain for the company is that the way you are doing business is very misleading. Even if the product had worked for me, I wouldn't want to keep using it because of the way you conduct business. Yeah, it was there somewhere, but you can and should do better. I feel taken advantage of. My wife's comment, "yes, when you are struggling with sleep you might do some stupid things out of desperation." Buying this product and signing up unintentionally for the free sample was one of those stupid things.Review from Mary H.

This company is a rip off! I requested a trial of a sleep aid & paid $5.95 for shipping. Received the product and took it for 7 nights. NOTHING happened.. its junk! Then my bank called a week or so later to question a $79.95 charges to my card. I called the # associated with the company, to finally reaching them on a Monday morning. I agrued with the foreign lady & finally got a RMA # to mail back the junk to hopefully receive a refund back to my card in a week or so. Meanwhile I have to wait for a refund of nearing 80$. In this day and age you don't authorize a fly by night company on the internet to take 80$ out each month for a sleep aid unless you have more money then brains. Oh and by the way you don't even know you are doing this, no where does it state you are agreeing to their terms. I went back to the original website promoting the product. There was nothing stated that you had 15 days to contact them. Liars/ Scam/ Con Artist / SHUT them down. BEWARE !! BEWARE !! BEWARE THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN ! My complaint is the same as so many others. It's appalling that the company continues to deceive unsuspecting consumers. I had no idea that my "sample shipment" was an opportunity to charge my account full price for a product that did not work. I got no benefit and, to add insult to injury, was charged full price later. I was told I missed a 14 day window to return the product and cancel my account. Customer Service, if you can call it that, was not at all interested in anything I had to say. Can they be given NO stars in their rating? Thoroughly disgusted. 'Health Formula, Inc. Response

Thank you for your response. Upon signing up for the trial, the terms and conditions are displayed on the checkout screen informing you that the first order is not free. A trial is a period of time in which you are to evaluate a product before being billed and enrolled into a membership. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Your membership has been canceled. No further orders or charges will be applied.
Our site does not advertise the product as a sample, its offered as a 15 day free trial. Our site also provides the terms and before you submit your order we show the terms again and each customer is required to check a box agreeing to the terms.

AvinolPM caused horrible side effects: confusion, seeing things and increased heart rate and agitation. Also, the information provided wasn't clear in regards to terms and conditions regarding the so called "free trial." I was unaware that I would be charged for the product if I didn't contact them within 15 days that I wasn't happy with the product. There were two different phone numbers provided and we had to call multiple times before we could get anyone to cancel the subscription that I didn't know about.
