    On 08/30/2025 my family and I traveled to cocoa beach to get on a cruise on 09/01/2025. We stayed at four points cocoa beach and had plans with the rest of the family. When we checked into our room to get set up we noticed the room was not cool. I called the desk and she said to turn it to 74 to see if it will restart. I did so and about an hour later it still had not cooled down any in the room. Maintenance came up and checked and said there was no filter in it, so dust was building up on the coils. He was not able to fix it, so we had to move rooms. I had to pack stuff up for 5 people one of which is a baby. So, needless to say we had a lot of stuff. We were not the only ones this happened too either. My sister in law had the same issues no filter, but she also had water all over her floor from her unit. While moving rooms I had several people walking by making comments about how they have had issues too. I have tried to contact the management myself to resolve this but they are not willing to work with me. This is my last option to get something done.

    I **** ****-*****, Director of Lodging Operations intervened and spoke to the guest in regard to their experience. Offered the refund of $185.92 and guest accepted.  See the attached proof of refund.
