Dear Better Business Bureau,I have started receiving magazines that I have never ordered and do not want. Apparently these orders were placed NATIONAL PUBLISHER EXCHANGE and I am unable to cancel the subscriptions through the magazines. This is some kind of scam and I notice you have a number of other complaints from other individuals. To your next question- yes, I have tried to contact NATIONAL PUBLISHER EXCHANGE directly but somehow they do not have agents available to take my call - interesting. I assume that email them will have the same effect - crickets. Certainly your agency can help warm people about this company or maybe even help me to cancel anything that this company is sending me.HELP!***************************Business Response

I received a magazine in the mail called AFAR on 8/19/23 that i did not order. I called the magazine and they said that National Publishers Exchange placed the order. I asked them for their number and they game it to me ***************), when i called this company and explained the issue they said they will cancel the subscription and connect me to the company that placed the order ************************** This didn't add up but i said ok and waited to be transferred. When i was transferred it went straight to voice mail so i left a message then called NPE back to ask for a actual number and they gave me this ***************). I called the number and it gives you the option to connect to customer service (ext 201) but it only goes to voice mail when you select it. I never want to do business with these companies and never plan to and i see from the other complaints i have good reason not to. Thanks...Business Response

Magazines started showing up at my home without my request for such subscriptions. When I reached out to the magazine company to inform them that I did not request any magazines, they informed me that the subscription was through National Publishers Exchange, a company I have never done business with nor plan to in the future. I want all subscriptions submitted wrongfully in my name stopped and no billing/charges.Business Response
