1 starI had a small job that was initiated in January and was told the job was 16 weeks out and would be done by mid April...it is almost June and they just now did the framework last week and were supposed to finish the project today. I called again and now the material is not ready for some reason, so now I'm expected to wait up to 3 more weeks!!! Ridiculous and horrible communication as I've had to call multiple times. I don't recommend this company and will never have another job done by them.Review fromJoseph L

1 starWonderful installation, horrible office experience. We have paid in full and more than happy to follow their instructions to pay for the permit fee. They have called at least 10 times to confirm this. They were supposed to send us an email and paperwork to be signed by notary. They have no administration credibility to verify any of this. They, without my knowledge put a lien on my home until this is cleared up. James was supposed to handle all of this and no follow thru. We are still waiting for them to get this right, confirm we have already paid in full, passed the county inspection, and remove the lien from my home. They are still badgering us with threats for no reason.RollShield, LLC

Mr. **************** sincerely apologize for the misunderstanding between our legal department and your wife. Your wife misunderstood when our paralegal called and spoke to her about your past-due balance. It is common practice (Not mandatory) in construction for larger companies like us to provide specific documents when a customer makes a final payment. We give a Notice of Termination (This allows you to remove the "Notice of Commencement"). We also provide a "Release of Lien" for your benefit, which states that all employees and material suppliers have been paid in full, and we, RollShield, and anyone associated with your job, cannot lien your property. I understand what happened. Your wife told you we lined or can lien your property (Which is not uncommon. When customers hear the word "LIEN," they tend not to hear anything after that). Your wife was very kind and paid the balance, and we did not charge you the late penalty or interest. We appreciate your business, and your job was done 4 weeks before your contract's estimated installation date. I have reviewed the photos of your installation, and the job looks FANTASTIC. The installers told me that you were both pleased and even tipped them. I appreciate that. I assume the incompetent statement was made due to this misunderstanding. If there is any other issue I have not addressed, please call me. I would love to speak with you and your wife.I hope now that this is resolved, you will give us a proper review.Thank you again for your business and please reach out to me anytime at ************
Sincerely,

5 starsI have used Rollshield 3 times now. Once for Rolldowns and Accordions, Once for Crimsafe hurricane screens, and last time for impact windows. The sales rep *** was very nice and not pushy at all. We had many questions and he was very informative and and knew his products very well. Everything went smoothly and installation was clean and accurate.A rolldown had to be serviced and Trae came out and did the repair no problem. The entire home is now protected but if I move, which we might be downsizing soon, I will use them again if needed.RollShield, LLC

1 starIt sounds like, there is very little to add, when reading the other reviews. We had a small job, install the rail after the deck was refinished. Discuss the job and they gave me a verbal estimate of $200 to install a filler and screw in my rail. When the job was done, the price went to $375 - discussed why did it go up so much and they gave me an invoice of how it took two people to screw 10 screws for 2 hours each - how I would love to be one of these two people for the rest of my life. They are a bad company and you should look elsewhere.RollShield, LLC

1 starMy experience with this company has been extremely frustrating, to say the least! Their horrible process from estimates (with various salesmen), installation, Re-installation, failed county inspection, more repairs, and finally, a passed inspection went on for over 10 months (June 2023 – April 2024)?!? The final inspection, I had to call in because ROLLSHEILD FAILED again to do their job! I was initially told their installers were paid employees, found out that is NOT true. The first installer was an extremely incompetent 1099 subcontractor, who rushed the job, left a mess, damaged materials, and failed the county inspection. The second installer (1099) which came out several times to correct issues and basically re-installed 80% of the original job, was great! He seems to be Roll Shield's “post-repair expert’ when their other 1099’s screw up the job! However, because he had to reinstall much of the job, leaving dozens of new holes in my house. The Chief Operations officer, Greg Howard verbally stated that ROLLSHELD would waive the permit fee of $224 based on numerous issues and over 10 months to complete repairs. I have repeatedly asked for a written document stating their intent to waive fee and numerous verbal promises by Mr. Howard, they are no longer responding to my requests. I'm concerned about them placing a lien on my property. The only consistency is this company is the lying! Lastly, I used Roll Shield based on word of mouth from a fellow veteran who showed me the work and his final results, all outstanding, leading me down this path. Before installation, my neighbor with a massive house was very interested as well, until he looked at my installation and noticed the results e.g., terrible caulking, damaged parts, and faulty closures. He was convinced to move on to another shutter company. All this to say “Buyer Beware”.Review fromTerri A

1 starWe had a salesman come out to give us a quote on installing a motorized screen door. We were told it would cost around $6200 plus another $1000 to take the old screen out and dispose of it. We asked why the cost was so high and were told that first we would need an engineer to come take the measurements to make the screen exact for our door(regular 2 car garage), then we would need a building permit and inspection. We then asked for a written quote with the breakdown of all of that and were told the company doesn't give written estimates. There were already so many red flags but that one put the icing on the cake. WE found a local company that did the whole job for less than 1/2 the price. The gave a written estimate before we started! Beware of this company. NO company refuses to give a written estimate!!Review fromIndia D

1 starI purchased Roll-down motorized shields for 8 windows in my home in 2021. I also purchased a crimsafe screen to cover the arched window above the door. Last year sales executive, Larry, stopped by to discuss the crimsafe screen replacement with a roll down motorized shutter. I explained the products they suggested to clean the window left streaks on it. I have called Rollshield dozen of times when I got no response from Larry. Two weeks ago, I called the company again and Kaye sent a text message to Larry to have him call me and also I left a voice message to the scheduling department to get someone else to help. No response. It is difficult to find another company who could match what I already have. It is horrible how this company claims they take care of their customers but does the exact opposite. Nothing on their website states a minimum purchase amount. Just be aware, you are of no value to this company after the sale unless the price is right. So dissapointing Larry does not value his senior citizen customers.IIndia D

1 starBuyer Beware. The work will get done enough to require you to pay all of the money. Any efforts along the way to have any defects in the manufactured materials they use will fall on deaf ears. They will walk away leaving you with defects from their manufacturers. It might be a way to get rid of poor quality supplies. There will be only one way for you to correct the defects which is a lawsuit. They must be banking that no one will hold them to their quoted warrantees. At the end of the job you will be told that you must contact the manufacturer and take it up with them.BEWARE: THERE ARE NO WARRANTEES IN THE PRODUCTS THIS COMPANY USES. The only way to enforce their statements of warrantee when the product is sold to you would be in a court of law. Save yourself the headache, time and energy and go with a reputable company that stands firmly behind their warrantees.Any positive reviews you might see here means that they happened to get materials that were not defective.
