I applied for a stipend or voluntary loan increase over 2 months ago and I was told around Sept 15th I would be seeing something related to the increase I asked for. Also I checked my great lakes account and it shows that the school did indeed receive the money for the full amount of my whole tuition which I have attached a screenshot not only that I was told I owed **** more dollars on my account, how when they have already received all the money from student loans. I will be hiring a lawyer to look into and possibly suing for negligence and shady practices that are illegal. I've called several times regarding this and no one can give a straight answer and then they stated that they were waiting on a Pell ***** as if I don't have access to same information that they do on what money has been recieved from student loans. This is so ridiculous I shouldn't have to fight over something that I am legally able to receive and I do not trust the financial aid department I already have spoken to a lawyer and it's been determined that I have a case.

I unenrolled on August 29, 2022. I still get calls every day from UMA. Each time I speak to them they ask why I decided to unenroll, when I tell them they say they will put it in their notes and I should stop receiving calls but that hasnt happened. Ive blocked the number but it doesnt work since its somebody different calling you every time. Very annoying.

Yes I'm a student at Uma and I have noticed some weird activity with my financial aid I have called the school and when speaking to financial aid services I spoke with someone who was rude just told me I didn't know what I was talking about or they didn't know what I was talking about and all I needed was some answers to the few questions about my financial aid I was supposed to have two diversements on August 1st and August the 2nd each of my award letters that was sent to the school were $2,384 after a fee was taken out which I am fine with the amounts were 2360 I have already received one diversement from them of $200 so my account is up to date and I owe them nothing but I'm only getting $1,180 of the $2,360 that was awarded to Uma School that is leaving a $1,180 unaccounted for I don't get where the other half of the financial aid is or where it's going so when I called again to figure out if they would explain to me where the money was going and how I was not seeing the $1,180 they tell me they don't know what I'm talking about though it is on my school's ledger under the financial aid and I don't know what I'm talking about so I need this fixed I am struggling as it is when I enrolled into you ma we were under the understanding of getting my billing and medical coding and that I would have to quit work in order to do this because I cannot do it plus school too and that my financial aid would help me as far as my rents my lights food and attic and I didn't even get my first diversement that was sent out supposedly in May I can't find out anything about it so I never received that money and then I know my account is up to date and I owe nothing to the school because I've done got one diversement last week for $200 so I get the second diversement of $2,384 without the fee which which would leave $2,384 and they're only saying then I'm getting 1,180 so where's the other $1,180 at and where is it going cuz it's not coming to me that's what I'm trying to figure out
