I registered for a class that was supposed to happen in November of 22, I paid up front by debit card and the funds were taken from my account on 9/2/2022, the sunday before the 1st class I was contacted by email and told the class had been canceled, I was also called by ******, Where she rescheduled me for the next date of the class 3/12/2023, the day before I received another email with a cancelation notice and was again contacted by ****** and rescheduled for mothers day 5/14/23, again this class was canceled and I was again contacted by ****** who told me they had no dates available for rescheduling the class and would call me back. Weeks went by and no response. I contacted ****** and asked to speak with a manager regarding my refund. She gave me the operations manager *********, who called me and promised that a refund had been approved. I then received and email verifying that the refund had been processed and to please allow **** bus days. After the 10 days went by with no refund I then contacted ********* again asking where my refund was and again she promised not to worry and that it would be in my bank account the next week. I also sent numerous emails with no response. I then find out that the company is now closed as of 6/19/23. I contacted ********* who told me she no longer works there. And that I need to contact the director of the business. Who is ***********************, he emailed me back and told me to file a charge back on my card. I contacted my bank and was told that the transaction was too old and that it could only be done within 180 days. I then email rob back again and demanded a refund. I told him that I had been trying to call the **** number for a week straight with no answer. His response, "Maam what is your phone number? Dont expect a real productive conversation because I wont put up with your attitude. All I want is a refund for services that were not provided to me as promised. I am rejecting this response because:After speaking with the owner who was rude, sarcastic and very unprofessional, I explained to him my bank, nor any other bank will do a charge back after 180 days! I requested a paper refund as the services I paid were were never delivered. He refused and started raising his voice and talking over me. This company is a scam, and I'm sure they've made thousands off of customers like myself. They immediately took my funds from my bank in september of 2022 and continued to postpone and cancel the class until it is too late for the Customer to get their funds back. Then they refuse to refund you. SCAMMERS!

Signed up for conceal carry class original date - February 17, 2023 -February 17 class was cancelled and said they'd reschedule -Rescheduled class for March 19th also cancelled and said they reschedule -April class was also cancelled and said they reschedule -May 19th class cancelled and said they'd reschedule.After May 19th cancellation, I contact the Ops Manager as this is now stealing because they are not holding the class but will not provide refunds because it says they will reschedule, but never in fact hold the class. This is fraud. The class has still not been rescheduled and no response to my messages about contacting the BBB or my bank to issue a fraudulent charge complaint. This company knows what they are doing, stealing! I will not accept a no refund answer as this class is never going to be held and the company seems to have found a loophole and continues to steal from people. Read all other complaints from people and it's all the same thing....No class, and reschedules never happen.Business Response

On March 6 **** I purchased a concealed carry class that was scheduled for March 12.On March 10 I received an email from them stating my class had been canceled and I would have to reschedule. I called and was told I could reschedule a month later which wound not fit my schedule. I asked for a refund but was told no. I could understand not getting a refund if I canceled but the business canceled and now keeping my money.Business Response

The 17 locations they mention are all across ******** and none were the time or place that was acceptable. They also cancelled the next class at the location I signed up for, so for two months in a row no class.

I enrolled in a conceal carry class through Equip2Conceal for $99, scheduled to take place on the 19th of February 2023 in ********, *********. I was contacted by ****** on February 17th, and told the class would need to be rescheduled for the 19th of March. Today, the 17th of March I was contacted again by ****** and informed the class would need to be rescheduled for the 16th of April. I inquired the reason for cancelation but was only given speculation and no exact reason. I expressed my desire to cancel my attendance and be given a refund, as no service was provided. It was stated that refunds were not given, and rescheduling was the only option.Business Response

I contacted Equip2Conceal on April 7th to inquire if a class would be held at ******** ********* location. It was stated that cancelations would not be know about until two prior to the class start date. I asked about the reason for all of the cancelation, but was never given a direct answer. I was told I could attend a class in Marshfield, however due to driving distance and the fact I had work that day this was not an option.Today I received an email stating that once again the class was to be rescheduled. The email implies a call was made, however no call was received on my phone. I contacted Equip2Conceal and asked again for the reason. I was simply told it was scheduling conflict, and provided no further reason. I was then told I could attend a class in *******, which is over two hours away.

I scheduled a class to take my concealed carry certification with this group on 12/27/22. The night before the class was scheduled, I got an email saying the class was cancelled, and I could not get an explanation as to why. I rescheduled my class to 2/5/22. This was cancelled an hour before with no explanation as to why again. I called and asked, and there was no answer provided. I tried rescheduling again, for 2/18/22. I spoke with them on the phone today and was told there is a high likelihood of cancellation. I informed them that I am a student and trying to balance a full time job so I cant just keep rescheduling classes, as time is very valuable. This horrible customer service makes me not want to use them for my certification. Several friends of mine have had the same problem. I asked several times I would just like my money back, and they refused everytime telling me to reschedule. The reschedule dates do not work with my work schedule.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: I have completed my certification else where. I payed for a service that I did not receive multiple times. I was able to attend the first class. It got rescheduled and I had to tell clients at work I had to reschedule them. And then a second time I had to reschedule more clients. As a result of this I have lost money on more than one account because of your business. I was told specifically that the class in ******** would be rescheduled because I was going to be on vacation. With how unreliable and unprofessional this company is, I was definitely not going to reschedule my vacation. It was not a no call no show. I informed the staff. I would not like a reschedule. I would like my money back. I do not understand how I am any different then all of the customers that have received refunds. I would be happy to make this a bigger issue if this does not get resolved.

Waited a month for a concealed carry class they canceled the last minute was sitting in the store over an hour, called their customer service and got nowhere. On Oct 9, 2022, I registered online for a carry conceal course with ***************. The online registration specified that there were no refunds, and we could reschedule the class. The in-person course was scheduled for Nov 5, 2022, and to be held at ***************************. On Nov 3, *************** called me and said the class was cancelled but could be rescheduled for Nov 12 at Fleet Farm in ******** **. I asked if that class could be cancelled too. I was told it wouldn't be cancelled and they already had 4 people signed up for the class that day. So, I accepted that class time/date.On Nov 10, *************** called me and said the class was rescheduled for Tuesday Nov 15 at a range in ********** ** at 3:00 pm (during the workday). I told the person I am not able to go to a class during the work week. I asked for a refund due to them constantly changing class dates/locations. I was told there are no refunds, but I can reschedule the class. I explained that I was getting re-certified for carry conceal and I have to complete this class within a specified time frame, and I did not have much time left. If a class was rescheduled again, it would put me out of my re-certification time frame, and I would need to start the whole certification process over as a new application. I was told again there was no refunds. I asked to talk to a manager regarding the issue. She said she would have management call me. I did not receive a call back on this. I e-mailed them to remind them about this call the manager was to make to me (Nov 30 & Dec 7) I also called them to ask to talk to management. I never got a call.On Dec 1 I called to sign up for the last class available to me, Dec 5th in Rochester. I was told that was being cancelled and she was notifying people signed up. She said class would be move to the new year. I told her that was too late for my recertification time frame. I asked for a refund and was told no refunds. I asked for a manager to call again. They canceled my class last minute. I reached out 5 times by both phone and email attempting to reschedule within the 30-day window per their policy and did not receive a new date, and they stopped responding to half the messages. After the 30-day window, I emailed the email on the PayPal dispute message. No response. I finally filed the dispute and they gave me ONE date, which I am out of town for and refuse to refund me despite how ridiculous this experience has been. I see from other reviews on here that this is not an isolated incident - someone needs to do something about this business so they don't keep taking people's money and canceling classes without refunds.Business Response

I'm not exactly rejecting this response, but I think BBB needs to know that I didn't receive a refund from this company - I had to take action with PayPal. The response they've given is purposely vague in this regard and makes it sound like they resolved the issue, when in fact they continued to ignore me for so long that PayPal agreed with my assessment that they weren't treating me fairly. Documentation attached.I'm not sure what BBB's power is, but this business is extremely sketchy and it would be great if all the details of this case can at least be visible so it doesn't look like they took care of the issue when they actually didn't/
