Complaint against: PLEASANT AIR CONDITIONING SERVICES *** DBA PLEASANT AIR ***. License#: ************** 1/** Sat:****** signs of leakage on shower ceiling, living room flooring, and strong odor of mold/mildew coming bathroom/hallway.Tech arrived, went into attic to inspect HVAC system. Told us we need new system, stating plenum and drain pan went bad, drain line clogged.Everything was still considerably wet. He stated he did everything he could. Trip Fee: $128, Svc Fee: $189, Total: $329.68. Left impression that nothing could be done to remedy the problem short of replacing our entire HVAC system. Quoted $6600 and $7200 options for new system.01/29 Mon:Other A/C *** came for second opinion: 1st pan's float switch failed. Water spilled into the 2nd, leaked from capped drain. Flushed drain line, replaced switch, sealed drain cap, dried everything. Informed us we can patch the plenum after it dries, don't need new system.Pleasant Air Tech failed to: diagnose bad switch, seal leak, dry area, tell us we could patch plenum, and provide honest assessment of the situation. He instead led us astray, left without fixing anything. 1/30 Tue:Called Owner. Explained facts stated above. Owner conferences in the Tech. The Tech argues. Tech admits to missing the float switch but had nothing else to say. Owner decides to refund only the service fee ($189) because he didnt have pictures from the Tech. Owner makes a point to say that if he did have pictures from the Tech he wouldnt refund me anything. I tried to explain that as a courtesy and on principle of doing good business, the right thing to do is refund the full amount. Owner disagreed, stated has to make sure his Tech is paid for driving and he would have a "pow-wow" with him instead. If honesty, competent service, and ethical business practice is important to you - avoid any contact with this company.

On the 25th of July pleasant air showed up to change a fan motor on my unit. While doing so one of the service techs stepped on my pvc drain line and broke it in the Attic flooding the Attic. It was not noticed until the 26th of July. On the 26th of July the same service tech came out to repair the line that he broke. After repairing the leak he left leaving wet insulation and the ceiling completely soaked. When I got home I removed the insulation and started to dry the area with a fan. When I called pleasant air on the to see what they're going to do to fix it I was told that a manager would get back to me soon. On July 27 I decided to call pleasant air around noon to get an update. I was met by someone who wouldn't give me their name he was extremely hostile. He first told me that someone would come repair it. Then when I asked him when he told me whenever he has a chance to do it he has more important jobs then fixing my ceiling. I asked if all his customers get treated like this? And he said" the ones that give me one star". I told him they got the one star because they destroyed my ceiling and did nothing to clean up the mess and they earned the bad review and if they fix the problem I'll take down the review. It got very heated and he then said I'm a liar and their not going to come out. Now refuses to fix any of the damage that they done. I just bought this house less than 6 months ago and had it inspected it didn't have any water damage to the ceiling and now I have a big stain on my ceiling that they don't feel responsible for.
