I noticed a rather sizeable amount of money missing from my account as I reconciled. As I pulled my statements from the bank and Paypal, I saw that I was being billed twice a month for the last 10 months by WeDJ.com. I have called, sent emails and the spread sheet and they have not tried once to resolve this issue. But instead threatened and then reduced my listing to a basic free listing instead of the GOLD status it should have been at. I no longer wish to do any business with this company and want a refund of the overbilled money in full.

As the BBB is aware, businesses do not 'bill' ****** customers in the traditional sense. We create an invoice indicating the amount due, and the customer chooses to use their ****** account to pay it or not. They can do this manually, each time the payment is due, or they can choose to setup an automatic prepayment in their ****** account. We have no control over their ****** account. This is done by the customer who may turn it on and off at will in their ****** settings.

We understand navigating the intricacies of the internet and internet commerce can be difficult, however we are not responsible for any customer's ****** account.

I am rejecting this response because:

WeDJ stated that they only send invoices and Paypal,  when set on automatic will pay those invoices. Through their own admission, there was a glitch on their Paypal instance, where a corrupt data packet caused their server not to recognize my payment, therefore creating the double billing. Even after they acknowledge this in September, they did nothing to resolve this problem or address my concerns. I have attached the statement provided to me from them, which in itself should have been enough for them to realize their mistake.

      Sincerely,

      *************************** Iii

Again, we do not have control over customer's paypal accounts. We do not take money from it, we cannot. Paypal does not allow businesses to take money form paypal accounts. This customer is sending money himself, through his paypal settings. AGAIN, he has complete control of his paypal account, including turning off any scheduled payments he has setup IN HIS PAYPAL ACCOUNT.

It is not our responsibility to support third party services the customer may be using.

This is our final response to this issue.

I have a WEDJ.com account and have had one for years. On April 27, 2022 WEDJ.com billed my credit card $50 for an online banner for **************** in ************ and $50 for an online banner for ************ County in ************. This is fine and I don't have a problem with this billing. The problem began on April 29, 2022 and continued to June 7, 2022 where WEDJ.com billed my credit card daily for $50 accumulating to $2000.00. When I caught the error in June I had to cancel my credit card to stop the billing from going through daily. I have been in contact with WEDJ.com support (specifically ***@wedj.com). He has said that there was a computer billing error and he would send to the owner (*****************************) for approval. I received an email from ***************************** on July 7, 2022 and he stated he signed off on the charges and needs the owner to sign off so he could issue refunds. July 18, 2022 I emailed *** since I haven't heard from him about the refunds and he said again I sent to the owner for approval. On August 8, 2022 I received an email from *** that "we allowed the chargebacks to go through and your funds will be refunded via your bank". It is now September 20, 2022 and I still haven't received any refunds for the illegal charges. I just checked my credit card statement and no refunds have been issued. Please help to correct this situation.

This complaint has been resolved. The user initiated chargebacks on all charges which were not disputed on our end. The charges were reversed (please see attached documentation).

No further action is required on our part.

      Hi,

WeDJ is no longer responsible for any charges as the user has initiated chargebacks through his bank. The user must resolve this issue through his bank.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  I have been in contact with Citibank and am dealing with them now.  I do feel it's horrible that a business that charged me for over a month for something I did not authorize and then did not credit my refunds for the overcharges.  The only place I could go was to Citibank to have them cancel my credit card otherwise the charges would have continued.  It was their fault and should have been dealt with immediately when notified but the owner took months to "supposedly approve" the refunds.  By that point in time Citibank was involved in the dispute and I still have $800 that has NOT been resolved.  I hope WEDJ.com changes their business practices and another client does not have to go through all of the trouble I have had with them recently.

      Sincerely,
