My first contact with the company was in 2014. At that time I purchased a vacation package from them with specific trip locations and benefits. In 2015 I was able to use two of the small trips from the package but none of the others. In 2017 they reached out again to get me to extend my package since it was due to expire. At that time they also added several other trips to the package and claimed that the package would not expire. Low and behold, in ********************** again saying I needed to pay a fee to extend the package. They convinced me by offering several other trips to add to the package. Then again in 2023 they reached out again and this time with the offer for me to upgrade my package to their platinum status which claimed it would have no extension fees and was good for a lifetime. That after 36 months it would only go dormant and then when I was ready to travel I would just need to pay a 1 time fee of $99 to reactivate the package for another 3 years. Last week, May 30th 2025 they called again and claimed that in order to extend the package I had to pay admin fees equal to $99/trip in the package which would equate to several thousand dollars. Then they offered to upgrade me to their diamond status which supposedly would get rid of admin fees in addition to the waved extension fees and that the package would never go dormant. I didn't want it. They then proceeded to apparently charge me. I attempted to call them today at their customer service # at ************, their reservation line at ************ and their travel concierge svc line at ************. All 3 lines have been disconnected and are not in service. No way to reach out to them to resolve. Having to try to dispute with my CC for the latest charges but they have lied all along the way and I want all my money back that they have basically stolen from me.Business Response

I believe that there is some confusion, the package you purchased was the lifetime that you pay $99 admin fee per locations per year, please refer to your email confirmation. All of our calls are recorded for your protection as a consumer and ours as a business. The verification process you went through on your purchase date is also recorded and you authorized the charges on that call. Our numbers have not been disconnected and are working, we even went a step further to contact our carrier to see if there were any outages in the last few months. They stated no, that our numbers have been in working order. If you would like to listen to the recordings we will be more than happy to allow you to listen. I signed. up with this company for a vacation package. As part of their service, they imposed a $***** per month charge. I have asked, repeatedly, for them to discontinue the service and they have continued to charge me. Also, none of the services that they offered are legitimate. Every time I have called to use the service, I am told that I can not, for various reasons: none of. which are accurate. On January 8, 2019 I purchased a vacation package with World Wide Vacations. The package included a lifetime extension program which means that when it goes beyond the 36 months originally agreed upon I only pay $99 to reactivate the package. So I am calling to do just that to reactivate the package and book a trip. When I call I get them telling me the lifetime plan doesn't exist and that I will pay $99 for each trip I take. That is bull. The trips were extended only 6 months during covid. So here I am planning on taking a birthday celebration only to be told that I have to pay an additional $800 in order to do so! This company is a bunch of scammers. They take your money and then don't honor what they put in writing. I want my original contract honored or my money back!Business Response

Today is 10/23/2024 and I just got off the phone with these people. They keep calling and asking me to pay money to extend my vacation packages that are not going to expire. I have asked to put on the no call list but I keep getting harassed, and this has been going on for a couple years now. How can I get the calls to stop?Business Response

I am writing to file a formal complaint against WorldWide Vacations regarding an upgraded vacation program (the Lifetime Extension Program purchased 10/03/202). The program was to secure my package during the time I am unable to travel (as advertised). The program allows my package to sit a dormancy, with no fees apply. This was only reason I upgraded and I specifically advised the representative of that. The representative confirmed that even if I do not travel, I was not going to have any problem and my package will not be cancelled/expired.However, for the past six months and to date, I've been receiving call from ***** *******, the director of WorldWide Vacation stating that my package is going to expires; therefore, wants me to spend more money to actually get what I've already paid. I've encountered several issues that have not been resolved despite the multiple attempts to contact the company. No one at the company is able to explain the reason for the calls, since I have a document stating what I paid for. My concerns has been ignored and inadequately addressed. On 7/26/2024, I spoke to ******* *****, explaining that I have a vacation that explicitly state "Your Package will sit in a dormancy state when you are not traveling." After reviewing my account, she then goes on to confirm that my package will not expire, disregard previous calls. It appears that every three to four months, I received a call requesting additional money. And when I explained the nature of my package and what it states, I am threaten that package will expires, and will have to pay additional cost to have it reactivated. At this point, it appears the upgraded package is a tactic that WorldWide Vacations uses to scam additional money from consumer due to misleading information.I believe these issues constitute unfair business practices. I am rejecting this response because: After reviewing their response, I am not satisfied with their response resolution and feel that my concerns have not been adequately addressed. On 11/06/2024, I contacted customer service and received unhelpful response. I was advised that they have expired (limited) all my travel destination within my vacation package. When I purchase the Lifetime Vacation Package, it was marketed as a comprehensive travel solution, promising lifetime vacation access, flexibility, no cancelation of my vacation package in the event I am unable to travel, and no hidden fees. My experience with this package has not aligned with these promises, and what I paid for. In reality, I have encounter poor customer service when requesting information about my package, restricting access to all travel destinations that were included in my package, and requesting additional fees. I believe World Wide Vacation has engaged in misleading practices.They have not fully addressed my complaint or provided specifics steps toward resolving my issues pertaining to my vacation package. When I do called customer service, I am told that they have expired my vacation package. Stating that someone will contact me, which no one does.
I was mislead when I purchase the vacation package; therefore, I am seeking a resolution that adequately address why my lifetime vacation has been expires/terminated, when I was informed that the vacation package will never expires or terminate. I am requesting a refund of the package cost, or reactivation of the vacation package so that I can have access to all travel destinations, rather than just one.
I hope World Wide Vacation can be held accountable for their actions and that they will take appropriate steps to address my concerns.

I authorized World Wild Vacations to charge me $308.99, for an upgrade. They charged me $400 and a second charge of $608.99. When I called them, they stated that I agreed to the charges. I have a receipt, and I know for a fact I did not agree to the charges. They said they would play me the recording but hung up on me. I bought vacation plan. I have never been able to get ahold of any to answer questions or book vacations. They upgraded me to Platinum and was told my packages never expire. Got a random call saying they had expired and wanted again more money but still couldnt get info on how or who to contact about anything. I booked a stay at ****************************** through Worldwide Vacations. A 90 minute tour is a requirement of the stay. Westgate requires me to be married to qualify for the tour. Worldwide Vacations had me registered as married. I have been divorced since 2019. Worldwide Vacations claims I stated I was married on my call with them but refuses to provide the audio. The audio of the call will provide indisputable evidence of what was said. This simple step would have resolved the issue immediately.Business Response

I went to a timeshare presentation signed up to go through with purchasing the travel club.. But the next day, I had a call about a relative that was very sick close to dying. Had to go home decided that I needed the money to help with my family member and Canceled the travel service. They said I could do it within three days as long as I sent the booklet and paperwork back within three days and have it postmarked with a letter which I did and they still did not cancel. It got credit card in the mail and a bill , I wrote a letter and canceled. It took stuff to the post office on that third day. It was postmarked so I dont know why they are not canceling it. Was contacted by this company 7/24/24 to extend an expired vacation from before COVID for ****** which I accepted. I Was told by the first *** who was really helpful that the closing **** would call me just to check out and confirm some completing information required for the purchase. When contacted by the closing *** out she told me she could upgrade the vacation for a lifetime with additional days, and some locations not required to do a 120 minute presentation for , a TOTAL of $900. She did not tell me that it would be an ADDITIONAL $900 which I never would have agreed to as I am a senior on social security and have a budget and my husband is a retired disabled vet. I specifically told her everything had to be under $1000 far me to accept the upgrade . Now The charge that I see on my card is $1528 which was an additional $900 not all inclusive .This second *** I talked with which was simply supposed to process my purchase was very misleading and in my opinion dishonest and should have told me that the total charge to my card would be $1528 instead of $900 as I had told her my budget was under $1000. As a senior, I feel taken advantage of by this company , particularly the second ***resentative . The upsell was deceiving and I do not wish to do business with this company . When I talked to the cust svc company on 7/25/24,l about the amount I told them I wanted to cancel the entire package and they put the closing (selling) *** on the phone who rudely and condescendingly told me the package was non refundable which is understood if it were for the agreed upon price. I felt very pressured by this *** to comply with something I didnt agree to. When she told me I could only get a credit, which I reluctantly did under much pressure , but afterwards , I see the charge on my card for 1****** for the full amount. I should not be pressured into accepting something that I did not agree to, and I wonder how many seniors have been scammed by this company.Customer Answer

Was contacted today by the closing sales representative who said they couldnt find my email which is interesting because they had already emailed me with the travel details and amount for $1528.
She claimed they will issue a credit to my card for $500. She stated she had done nothing wrong and she didnt need the money to work there and lie to people .
I asked for an updated email with the new travel amount and she stated that customer service would be sending it over after lunch . Its 7:48 pm and no updated email .
So I need to leave this complaint in place . Since many of the reviews state that when trying to contact the company to get resolution to items they were told individuals were out of the office or at lunch .
my card shows a pending credit but the card company says its not official until it actually hits the card .

The company has still not issued the $500 credit that was promised. I have emailed the company every day since 7/25 and have received no answer regarding the credit so as of right now my card is still billed for the $1528.99.
