I hired Get Er Done in Cape Coral Fl to remove some trees and stumps. They did not complete job and just found out they are a "operating illegally company" they do not have an active business entity according to Secretary of State, Corporate Division, in Tallahassee. I paid them 4200.00 in full. I asked them to bring me proof of insured and bonded and proof of business number and never did. I was told they had to be active to be on google. Their reviews were good and another company i had come give estimate knew who they were and didn't say anything negative so I guess I am to trusting. They never finished the job and left all of the debris which is costing me around $1000 to have another company to haul away. Then never finished grind stumps paid for. They kept stating we will be there tomorrow, sorry truck down , we will be there tomorrow and never showing back up. two weeks later now my lawn is damaged. Have to pay over 800.00 to get debris removed from another company then to have lawn and irrigation they damaged from the debris. And damaged my roof of my shed which will need to be repaired. Plus finish grinding stumps, move extremely large staghorn to avoid killing it (in contract as they removed from tree they cut down and was supposed to hang in different tree where we agreed) and the rest of the job on contract.
