When I first moved in according to my lease I was to pay $60 in addition to my rent for water . In 2019-2020 Rossman contacted me stating I owed all this money for a water bill. Never received noticed that I was responsible for the entire water bill. 2020 they stated I owed $454 dollars for a water bill I disputed several times that theres no way that this bill could be accurate. Basically they told me it was mine and I was responsible. Water bill went down it went up again to $200 some dollars I disputed the bill again asking them to send someone out they sent a plumber out who stated that theres no leaks and again I had to pay this high water bill. After speaking with several long time residents they all stated that they had the same issues with a high water bill. Here it is 2022 Rossman calls me to tell me that I have another high water bill and it was posted on the portal the water bill is $490 for dates 9/13-10/11 . The date range I was out of hot water for two weeks before they came out to fix the issue and on top of that the date range was during Hurricane *** when we were out of electricity for four days.. I received a message from Rossman the landlord wanting to know when I was paying the water bill. I informed them I was not paying this water bill there has to be a issue. They sent another plumber who checked for leaks again no leaks detected but he did inform me that it may be a technical issue misreading of the meter or a malfunction but it definitely was technical. ******* stated the meter showed I used ****** gallons of water in one month in a 2 bedroom apartment. I informed Rossman and the only response I received was NOTHING basically saying I owed the balance. They didnt send anyone out to check the meter. I paid on these high water bills knowing that there has to be a issue and Im still being held responsible while they take no other action to resolve. The water company wont talk with me being that the bill is not and never was put in my name.
