    This fishing trip trip was booked on March 1, 2024, for March 12, 2024, on an App called Fishing ******.The trip was cancelled on March 5, 2024. Per the advertised policy (copy attached) it states there is free cancellation 7 days before the trip date.March 5, 2024, is eight days before March 12, 2024.However, in the fine print buried in your website there are different terms. This is very problematic to me that you would not post the terms on the same page you post the cancellation policy.********************* of Changes in Latitude refuses to refund my money even though I cancelled within the cancellation period. He has taken my money but did not provide any service.This is wrong, un-professional, un-ethical and deceitful and Changes in Latitude Charters is a BUYER BEWARE COMPANY.My money should be refunded.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    The cancellation policy for this service is 7 days.  Per the attached files you will see that I cancelled 8 days before the trip and the cancellation policy this company is referring to is not displayed in the samr area as the prominent cancellation policy.

    The consumer violated the contract's 7-day cancellation policy. 12 days minus 5 days is 7 days. Not to mention i did not run the consumer's credit card, Fishingbooker did because they found that the consumer was in violation of the cancellation policy.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    I canceled within the 7 day cancellation period.

    I agree with Changes in Latitude calculation that 12-5=7.  The cancellation policy is 7 days.

    Fishing ****** charged my credit card on the day of the booking not on the day of cancellation so your statement that my credit card was charged because I cancelled is not accurate.

    Fishing ****** told me via email that the captain has the final say in refunds not Fishing ******.  Email is attached. 

    Neither Changes in Latitude nor Fishing ****** has refunded my money.

    Although I believe there was no preparation done for my trip and I believe another trip was booked by Changes in Latitude for the time I cancelled.

    I would be willing to forfeit $75.00 of the charge for the EXTENSIVE PREPARATION done by Changes in Latitude, if Changes in Latitude will refund $400.00.

    Thank you for considering this offer of settlement.

    Fishing Picture 3 shows the cancellation policy displayed when you book the trip.

    Fishing Picture 7 shows another screen with a different cancellation policy.

    The cancellation policy clearly states when you book there is free cancellation within 7 days of the trip.

    The trip was scheduled for March 12 and the trip was cancelled on March 5.  That is 8 calendar days.
