This situation has been ongoing since 2017. A friend recommended me for their accountant services so I opted for it. I am an immigrant worker so I cannot file typically so this exchange would be easier as I could file legally but, as time went on she (*************************) failed to provide the proper receipts from our transactions and tax paperwork (returns, everything that had to do w/ my taxes I never got to see). Time after time I and my wife asked for the paperwork, she'd just say that she needed more money because the *** said I was missing money and paperwork and said that she'd submit it to the *** and that she'd ask them for an extension so we wouldn't get penalized. I'd manage to get the paperwork she needed from my employees and myself (payroll etc) and she didn't give me copies of where it went or even give me the paperwork back. After so much dealing back and forth I ended up going w/ another accountant and she told me nothing had ever been filed with the *** and anything that had been was incomplete. I was in disbelief and tried contacting *** about this issue but to no avail as she ended up blocking me and my wife on every platform. I am not asking to be in contact w/ her but I need the paperwork that she received from us during that time because my new accountant keeps running into issues that are due to the lack of evidence from my company filings to the *** (RDL'S MASONRY). Also, we never received any mail/information from the *** due to her placing her personal information into the account instead of ours. We spoke to the *** and they told us that we have a right as taxpayers to request any information from her regarding the company as she was the one handling my business taxes.
