- Additional Info:In March 2024 BBB investigated Ohanu Waters, Inc. business practices. This investigation was prompted by consumer inquires. Specifically, consumers allege they engage into a contract with Ohanu Waters Inc. to install a swimming pool. The consumer then pays up to 90% of the installation cost, and the project is abandoned without any intention of completion. Consumers also claim there are outstanding payments to subcontractors, which has resulted in liens being issued on their homes. In March 2024 a consumer reported to the BBB that they have fallen victim to the fraudulent actions of Ohanu Waters Inc. "I signed a contract with the company for a swimming pool project for the amount of $89,324.00 by February I had paid 90% of the amount, however, the job was abandoned by October 2023 with the job halfway through. As of today, the company has shut down, leaving me with an unfinished project and no means to complete it. Additionally, Ohanu Waters Inc. cashed a check without my authorization." said the consumer. Consumers also reported Ohanu Waters Inc. has informed some customers that they do not have enough money to finish their pool or to repay what they owe them. They also say that the customer will have to hire another pool contractor to complete their pool project.
