      i purchased a 2017 **** f150 vin 1ftmf1c82hfc81864 on 6.7.22. the vehicle showed to be in good shape on the outside and inside after my visual inspection but on 1.6.23 *********************** discovered the innerframe had rusted thru and the gas take o-ring rusted as well leaking emissions. i took it to *********************** for an inspection becuase the check engine light came on. *********************** advised the truck could explode and the frame could colapse with the amount of rust damage done to it. i was told at the time of sale by autonation that there was a 125 point inspection and it had a clean car fax so i thought i was buying a roadsafe vehicle. i was misled with that information. i took it back to autonation frod brooksville the same day to trade it in for what i owed on it and get a replacment vehicle. i was offered $13.500 and i owed $28,911 & their sales rep **** said they should have never sold it to me and that someitmes they dont do full inspections if they dont feel the need to. i came back the next day and spoke to their gm ***************************** and went to the back to get it on a lift and once he, the tech, and myself saw the severity of damage **** said he would make things right by trading it in & getting a new vehicle that was on the lot at that time. they said i could not buy a truck i wanted for $18,500 becuase that price was to cheap. i got a 2020 kia ******* for $22,500 and they made me buy the gap insurance and extended warranty which i did not want & said i had to take the old gap and extended warranty cash that i was getting back and use it as a down payment for the new vehilce.which was $3390 and they ended up giving me $21,700 for the f150 trade in. this left me upsdie down on the loan approximenlty $10,190.00 including paying for new gap insurance, extended warratnny, dealer fees, taxes, title transfer ect . i would like a check for the $10,190 so i can apply it to my new loan and bring it back down to where i was before discovering the danger of keeping the f150

      Paid to have sparkplug rethread, dropped off by aaa, we drive into shop area, they couldn't do it, i paid them $365 , now they refused to put parts back together, truck will not start, windows won't go up....they are standing here watching us try to figure out how to get it on a trailer (we planned to drive it onto the trailer).

      We received this vehicle and gave it priority as the customer was traveling through. The vehicle blew a spark plug and the customer attempted to repair and could not. We attempted to repair the vehicle but the damage could not be repaired without extensive repairs. The customer declined the repairs an asked it we could store the vehicle until they were able to tow it out. The service consultant assumed that since the vehicle was being towed out that the technician should stop the repairs. The entire process between our service advisor and the customer was smooth until the minor miscommunication at the end. The service advisor explained his position to the customer and the customer was satisfied.

      This is partially correct.
      I was quoted $200 but charged $364...plenty of $ to put it back together. At no time did we ask the technician to NOT put it back together to drive on the trailer, he was just told that we would nor pursue 3k worth of repairs, that we would go get a trailer and come get it. Without the sparkplug in it, the truck was driven from the tow truck across the parking lot to the repair bay. I expected to be able to drive it again , still without the sparkplug onto my trailer but they refused to hook everything back up after payment. I spoke with a representative yesterday, hoping he makes this right.

      We have spoken with the son several times since the vehicle was here and he is fine, but it is the Mom that is filling out the report. The customer stated to us that he didn't want to go any further with the repairs and he was going to tow the vehicle out. Putting everything back together would have increased the amount the customer was going to pay, that is why we left it apart. We had already lowered the labor time and cost for the customer as a courtesy. When the customer picked up the vehicle one of my technicians used a vehicle pusher to assist getting the vehicle on the customer's trailer. We spoke with the son after the first report was received and he was good with our explanation. Even though the customer was good we still refunded 100% of the money the customer spent.

      After speaking with a representative of the company we were fully reimbursed for everything. They were very apologetic and I appreciate that they listened to my concerns and followed through. I did not expect a full refund. They went above and beyond to resolve thus fir us and we appreciated tgat.
