I went to this auto repair shop to get my automobile repair, I had a leak , needs to get the valve cover gasket replaced, they evaluated my auto, then told me that I need to replace it, also that I need to replace my original front brakes, this was on 1/19/2023.I had the brake replaced on 3/21/2021. I receive an estimate to replace the valve cover gasket and the brakes, I approved the valve cover gasket, and I did get the work completed by 1/27/23. But I did not approved the brakes job. Few weeks ago I noticed on my garage floor oil, I took the car to another auto shop, (because I did not approved the brake job, and missed an appointment I did not set for the brakes , ************** told me not to ever come back this shop) The other shop Greasy Monkey cleaned the engine and put some dyed to figure out where the oil leak is coming from, surprise, the leak was from the valve cover gasket,in three different areas. they took me inside the shop, they showed where the leaks are and I took pictures. I paid Auto Work $1,199.16 for this job? *** has the arrogance to tell me not to come back to this shop. I won go back anyway, I cant trust a word they say or job they do, they told me that my oil was too dark, they recommended oil change, I did not say anything, but I had an oil change the week before that I drop the auto.

    1. Regarding the oil leak - we provide a 3 year / ****** mile warranty with our services. If the valve cover gasket is leaking we will cover that under our warranty at no cost.

    2. *************** states that I was arrogant in telling her that she could not bring her vehicle in to the shop - that is absolutely NOT what was expressed to her in our conversation. What WAS said is that she has scheduled AND not shown up for at least 3 different appointments without calling to either tell us that she was not coming in or to reschedule - 10/14/22, 1/12/23, 4/28/23 were documented. She has a habit of not showing up for appointments. Our time is valuable as well, so when someone habitually does not show for appointments we will then stop scheduling those customers with an appointment. She is welcome to bring the vehicle in and drop it off, and we will inspect the vehicle when there is an opening in the shop.

I am rejecting this response because:

I don't have habits not to show up, their text system, requires to accept or decline the quote, if the client do not accept or declined the

quote, that does not tell you that is not confirm, then their telephone system is to leave messages, he did not told me to to came back

he send me a text. I would not go ever to a place that you don't trust the integrity of their job. Last job done, the recommendation of the mechanic was

to change the oil, when the oil change was done a day before?

    Sincerely,
