To whom it may concern,I am writing to file a complaint against the accounting firm Brandon Accountants, located at ********************************************************, ** *****. I hired them to prepare and file my taxes for the year 2022, but they failed to do so and caused me a lot of trouble and stress.I paid them $280 for their service and signed a letter stating that they had filed my taxes before April 15, 2023. However, they never sent my information to the **** They also filed an extension without informing me or my husband. We only found out about this after 10 months of waiting for our refund. When we called them, they admitted that they had not sent our information to the *** and told us to pick up our documents and mail them ourselves. They had no explanation or apology for their negligence.This accounting firm is a fraud and a scam. They lied to us and made us pay for a service they did not provide. They also put us at risk of penalties and interest from the **** They have breached their contract and violated the trust of their clients. They have shown no professionalism or accountability.I request that the BBB investigate this matter and take appropriate action against this accounting firm. I also request that they refund me the $280 I paid them and compensate me for the inconvenience and distress they caused me. Thank you for your attention and assistance.
