While considering purchasing the puppy for my husband, who is an AirforceVet of 29 years, the puppy coughed a couple of times. I then asked the salesperson, ******, why he was coughing. She stated he must have drank something. Though he was damp from just getting a bath. She stated she would go ask. A few minutes later, she came back and said everything was fine. So trusting the sales person. I purchased the puppy. 3 days later, we ended up in the Animal ER. With upper respiratory infection/pneumonia. Was given 3 antibiotics fluid for dehydration and bloodwork. The Next day which was Monday which was day for of having the puppy we took the pet to Petlands Veterinarian. Parkway ******************** Their own Vet diagnosed the puppy with PNEUMONIA after 3 views of xrays.He gave us an additional steroid to add to the meds given at the animal er. To say I am livid is an understatement!! Defrauded.. and CONNED!! Then when I went back to discuss what happened and question the salesperson about selling me a sick puppy. The manager got loud and said he RECIPROCATES the same energy!! It's really completely unprofessional and uncaring, to say the least!! I told him 1 have lost a weeks worth of work and will lose another week taking care of a sick puppy they've sold me. He said that was my choice to not go to work. I said, "Who and where do i leave a puppy that has pneumonia!!
