"The scam utilized a Tinder account and then an Instagram account with stolen photos to misrepresent themselves, possibly bot accounts. After a series of back and forth messages I was asked to click a bit.ly link that was meant to be a premium access to a service which required a credit card number and info. It then rerouted to a less than legitimate "dating" site. I tried to report as fraud but my bank denied my claim." BBB conducted an investigation based on consumer complaint activity and/or BBB Scam Tracker reports received alleging unauthorized billing charges for services. The victim alleged messaging someone through Tinder and Instagram, then being asked to click a link for premium access to a third party dating service which required a credit card number. The business claims to be billing services for dating websites, however they have not provided information for what companies are using their services to charge consumers.
1).The business website, https://styahd.com, was created on February 18, 2019.
2).Per the business website, they state they are an online dating service and will appear on your card statement if someone has ordered their services using your details. BBB was not able to locate what dating site they are affiliated with.
3). The advertised address at 6094 14th St W PMB 347, Bradenton, FL is a post office. To date, BBB received mail returned as undeliverable.
