      We pay One Hour Air a monthly fee so they will come to our house for routine AC maintenance twice a year. At our routine appointment a few weeks ago, we were told we would need to replace the coils soon as they were quite corroded. We live in ******* and didnt want to take any chances, so we had them order the part and schedule an appointment for install. That appointment was last week and they CANCELLED on us same day, saying they couldnt find the part in the warehouse and they would call to follow up when it was sorted. Our unit was still fully functional at the point, so no big deal. Then this morning (6 days after we were supposed to have our appointment) we woke up to a broken air conditioner. It was 83 degrees at 7am and got up to 91 throughout the day. Outside feels like temps were 113. Were talking DANGEROUS heat, not just an inconvenience. So we called immediately upon waking that morning to schedule an appointment for them to come install the part we had already ordered. We were told they couldnt get out to us until between 4-8pm. We told them that was unacceptable due to the situation and then we were promised a 12-2 appointment window. No one ever showed up. We called at 2 for an update and were told the tech was en route to the warehouse to pick up our part and would be at our house by 3:30. No one ever showed up (again). We called the office once again and were told they didnt have us on the schedule for the day, that our appointment had been rescheduled to 8/1 (4 days away). We NEVER asked for that so they literally pulled it out of nowhere. We told them again that this was unacceptable and they informed us they couldnt get anyone out until the next morning. Were now at a hotel with 4 people and 6 animals trying to stay cool overnight and Im not confident a tech will show up tomorrow. Promises were made and broken multiple times and we are extremely frustrated. We dont feel this company is honest or professional and want to warn others.

      2 AC units inside and out only 3 years old. Every year we have to call them on an issue with the units are not working. The units are only 3 years old. They come out and always want to sell us something else that will fix the problem. I want the units replaced with better units free of charge and I expect to have our complete units that are bad paid in full and I expect to not have any further issues.

      My cimplaint is actually with One Hour Air in Miami ***************************************************************** ph ************. The family was getting sick a lot therefore I hired them in July 2023 to do a deep cleaning of my A/C and vents. I also signed for their club paying $20 a month so they can come and clean every 6 months . I requested pictures and was never provided. Since we were still getting sick & blk border was around the vents I hired anither company Trias General Service who determined I had a bad case of mold & charged $1720 for the treatment and I had to rent 2 hotel rooms for 2 days until chemical smell left. I have written many times to One Hour, their customer setvice **********************, and **************** & no one returned my e-mails. Finally a new manager on the job Yurais ******** replied to my email to call him which I did and ecplained everything. He sent me originsl pics which clearly shows mold & said they were not mold experts. Neither am I but I could clearly see the *********** had employees coming every 6 months and seeing the unit. I originally paid them over $3000 with financing. I have all emails where I contacted them, before & after pics from Trias & even the ones ******* sent clearly shosd mold. Instead of charging me $20 a month, instead of lettinh me know of this and advising to hire a mold expert. I want some type of reimbursement or compensagion. My family and I have been thru an ordeal.

      I am rejecting this response because 2 years at $20 a month is $480 not $400.

      If i receive at least what I have paid in club membership which is roughly $720  I will accept it.

      I also want my club membership cancelled.

      I lastly wanted to inform that I am not a mold expert either, but those pictures that had originally not been sent to me clearly shows ashy molding everywhere.

      Common courtesy to inform a client so they can access the situation & make decisions.

      This has affected our family's health.

      Hello. I had filed a complaint with One Hour Air in June. They replied offering a refund of $400 for 2 years and I rejected it thinking the valuations were wrong. It turns out they were right, but BBB closed the case and I was not able to reply. I contacted One Hour Air agreeing to the $400 club fees. reimbursement, but they have not replied. I truly apologize for my confusion

      July 2015 I had a ******* HVAC system installed by one hour air with 10 year parts and labor. Since this system has been installed its been pure problems. I also had service contract with them for all these years every time 2x per year that paid for . They had to replace the coils once . Every time someone come out to service there has been a problem to fix which they fixed because of the 10 year warranty and labor contract I bought. Fast forward to last year November. Technician came out, did the service, no problem. I asked her to give me a quote for an air duct cleaning, she gave me a quote astronomical price off course, I told her thats too much, she left. Now the tech came out to my house 4/11/2025 for service, telling me the coils are leaking. Okay, whats the plan, he told me that the unit is still under warranty so they will get the part from ******* but I have to pay the labor cost for over $3000. I told him my contract includes labor cost for 10 years. His response was because you were told to clean the duct and you didnt you have to pay the cost of labor. I told him she never told me to clean anything I asked her for the quote because I wanted to get them cleaned , I had the ducts cleaned about 8 years ago. I paid for 10 years of labor and your telling me me that because I asked for a quote for air duct cleaning you want use that as a way to get out of the contract I paid for. One hour air is responsible to honor the contract I paid for, what was the point of paying over $9000 for a system 10 years ago, that i probably could have gotten for $4000 at the time.

      I am rejecting this response because: they never tried to call me until after the complaint was filed and yes  i went with another company to fix the problem that they should have done  because we had a policy to cover the charges but even with the policy they are charging us over $3000. So of course we find someone else and we did not have to pay a dime to have the coils replace. The unit is still under warranty and we have  10 year labor cost policy. Until august, so why were we charged over $3000 for repairs. They want to make it seem they called back the next but it was after I filed the complaint. So yes I cancel my membership with them. They service the unit twice per year  for almost  10 years if the ** unit was ever dusty or dirty they should  have told us and furthermore when the other company removed the coils they still looked brand new ,they were leaking had nothing to do with us., no dust on them.  Im glad I cancelled my membership, will never recommend them to anyone I know.

      I do not recommend One Hour Air. I bought a $17, 000 air conditioner last June. It has been serviced regularly, and broken down 4 times. They lie to you and tell you that they will be there at 9:00 am and don't show up at that time. So, you wait and wait. Today was day 4 without air and it appears to be fixed for now. ?????? I'm supposed to receive a $500 refund if it's not fixed within 24 hours. Called and asked to speak to the Regional Manager. No return calls

      We had a technician come out to address an issue with our ** unit, located in our attic. He did his inspection and ultimately determined the problem and quoted us for the solution. We opted not to move forward with the large repair at that time and instead he recommended cleaning out our air coil, which he did. Per his instruction, we left the unit off for a few days to allow for the insulation inside to dry a bit. We turned our air on Friday night and on Monday our ceiling was pouring water. So much in fact that a hole formed in our ceiling, the water just broke through it. My husband looked in the attic to see where the water was coming from and immediately noticed the drain line had been disconnected from the ** unit. We called One Hour Air back and said hey you were here and now this is broken and our ceiling is ruined. They came out the next day, reconnected the drain line and when we asked about the ceiling being repaired, he admitted to making a mistake but stated that he didnt believe the responsibility to repair was on the company. He said hed ask his supervisor and get back to us. We never heard back and have been unable to reach anyone who can give us a determination regarding our ceiling. We are effectively being ignored. The technician did state that they have a guy who handles this stuff and they are insured. Not sure why they refuse to help us as we have been very kind and patient. We would like One Hour air to repair the hole in our ceiling as it would not be there had the tech done his due diligence before leaving the attic, he clearly did something to cause the drain line to separate from the unit.

      On September 9, 2024 One Hour Air came out to replace a bad condenser motor ($1231.00). On Feb. 15, 2025 a neighbor informed me that my AC unit sounded very loud. After inspection I discovered one of the condenser fan blades was tearing apart. On February 17th Jamies Air Conditioning *** came out to replace the fan blade and I asked him to check the motor that was recently replaced. He looked up the motor for my unit and showed me that based on the fan pitch I needed an 825 rpm motor and One Hour Air had installed 1075 rpm motor which caused the fan to eventually come apart. They replaced the motor and fan blade $1080.00. I contacted the Company but have never received a reply. I have saved the motor and fan blade. I also have the invoice from ***** AC that states the wrong motor was installed. I could not upload it because the writing is light and would not scan properly.

      I am rejecting this response because: I never received a call back from 1 Hour Air. When the additional repairs were necessary, it was only a few months after they did their initial work. Also, they can look up the proper motor for my unit and see that the one they used, was much more powerful. I still have the motor and fan. I would be happy to talk with them. Show them the parts that they installed and can be available anytime. ************

      We purchased an Air Condition unit on May 18, 2020, 2.5 Ton Basic System with 10 Years warranty. Purchase Price $7,014.80. Since purchasing the unit we have had two service calls which revealed that the condenser was leaking that caused the unit not to blow cool air. The condenser was changed twice, and of course I was not charged for the condensers, but I was charged several hundred dollars for recharging the unit or replacing the gas. The unit again stopped cooling in 2024 and I called One Hour Air and scheduled a service call. It is somewhere around August or September 2024 that their repair Technicians start working on the unit, and each time they come up with a different reason why the unit is not cooling. One said the wiring shorted out and it affected the compressor. He said I needed a new compressor, but I have two choices: 1. they could do a temporary rewire which would allow it to work, and the cost would be $400 plus, or I could have the free replacement since the unit is still in warranty, but the work would be $1,200. I decided to go with the new compressor. Weeks later I called about the new compressor and they said it was back ordered. Weeks later I called again and told them I need action or I will be seeking help. They came to install a new compressor and said the unit was still not working with the new compressor and they left. I called weeks later and another Technician came out 12/23/2024 and decided that our building gas line was damaged and is causing water to get into the compressor, but since they cannot touch the building they could run a separate gas line and the cost would be $3,238.93. I told them I would need the *** approval and get back to them. The *** said they needed written proof that One Hour Air pressure tested the line to be sure the line was really damaged. I requested the proof on January 2, 2025 and I was told it would be prepared and sent to me. It is now February, I can't Rent or Sell the unit in its condition

      Thank you so much for your help in getting to this point with One Hour Air.  One Hour Air has contacted me and sent an email confirming that the line was tested and is indeed damaged within the building walls.  I have submitted that information to the *** and I received their response saying the matter is being investigated and they will be in touch as soon as  possible.  At this point I would like to close the case against One Hour Air and give the *** time to do a thorough investigation.  Once again I thank you for your help.

      One Hour Air Conditioning & Heating is a horrible company and we are not satisfied since the beginning due to the poor service and damages to my property plus all the inconvenience that has caused my entire family and high bills. We had more than three times our duck work redone, four thermostat replace , one brand new heat pump , this company fail inspection plus they still have not fix the damages to my property the duct work is not done correctly and left a broken damper. During the cold the ** does not work which we have to spend money on heaters. Their warranty ***** is not there to help the customer this company is really bad and there is no warranty is a lie.

      This company came to check my AC unit and he diagnosed that the issue we had was a fuse. The tech named ***** tried to convince me that there was no way to fix the unit that The only remedy was to replace a whole unit and immediately offered me financing and that it will cost only $15,000 to replace and that it should be easy for me to pay. Unfortunately, I could not afford the $15,000 at the moment but Also, I know For a fact that the unit could be easily fixed for a while until I could afford it. The tech insisted that there was no possible way for him to fix it because it was an impossible fuse to find because the unit its over 15 years old, He went outside to check the unit outside and came back and gave me all these other excuses of why he couldnt be fix it. He said he called a few people and he couldnt find the fuse that was impossible to find. I insisted that I couldnt afford it so he said I will have my manager call you. a few minutes later his manager called to his phone and asked to speak to me, the manager insisted that the only solution was to replace the whole unit and that he could do it the same day no problem. I insisted that if it was a fuse that I would like the fuse to be replaced because I couldnt afford $15,000 at the moment. The manager double down on the story that the fuse was impossible to find and I said thank you so much but theres nothing else I could do at the moment he said OK but if you if I do find the fuse, I will have to charge you between 3-4k to replace the fuse and you wouldnt want to spend that kind of money on a fuse when I just put it in a new unit I insisted I cant cant afford it He said OK fine Ill have him replace it right now for you, but I will have to charge you between 3-4k and thats when I said, but you just told me that there was no possible way to find the fuse. he started Stumbling with his words and I said thank you so much for your time. I dont think I can trust your company anymore. Thank you so much.
