  I purchased a home where Heroic Construction installed a new roof in 2020. In November of 2022 we noticed a leak in our master bath and though the company was responsive at first, they disappeared once they realized it wasn't a simple fix and calls, text messages, emails had gone unanswered. I was left with no other choice than to hire another licensed roofing contractor, who I paid $1700 to repair the bad workmanship. Shortly after the repair was completed by another contractor, I wrote a negative ****** review for Heroic and the owner **** called me right away and stated he had no idea his brother **** hadn't taken care of the issue. **** told me he was so upset he fired his brother ****.... With that being said, he offered to refund me the $1,700, which I thought was nice of him to do. But after 4 months of reaching out and hoping that he would do the right thing, I've given up and simply want other's to know that this company has some unethical business practices.

  This issue happened almost 5 years ago.  
  
  After reviewing the information regarding this project.  The previous owner of the home who hired us to do the roof on the property (was a real estate investor).  She had completed all of the work on the inside of the home with no building permits,  She had wanted usto move her project to the top of the list and in front of everyone else's projects.  When the work was completed the previous owner had failed to pay the change order for all of the damaged wood that we had replaced the home.  The cost of the wood alone was over $1000.00 ... Heroic Construction did make money on this job and was not willing to offer any warranty on our services rendered due to the issues with the previous owner.  We are in business to make a profit and to support our families.  We just can't do work for customers for free.  
  

  I can promise you that currently at this company we do not have any of these types of issues and I personally make sure that customers are happy with our services

  I am rejecting this response because:

  The rebuttal from the business owner has nothing to do with the fact that my home had several leaks tied to his work (I.e., he did the work for a real estate investor). After he stated he was going to do the right thing and fix it, he ghosted me - I ended up hiring another roofer to fix 2 leaks which in total has cost me $4000. I highly doubt this customer has satisfied customers out there. I would like to get reimbursed for the roof repairs. I have supporting pictures and receipts.

  I am a senior who entered into a roofing contract on 2/10/22 with Heroic Construction. Paid $9476.64 in two payments. Tile was never delivered. As I was given numerous reasons by these two brothers why it wasnt but will be, I was convinced I hired an unethical dishonest company. Every attempt to cancel the job which is permitted before start of work & have my money refunded was a waste of time. His reply was h*** start the job disregarding my requests for proof of his tile order, renewed liability insurance which expired this past *********************** of his cancelled workmans compensation since last March. In addition my permit expired 2/28/23! The *** of this company has no conscience. Im reporting this scandal in hopes it will protect others & hopefully he will be held accountable.

  All Heroic Construction wanted to do was provide the customer with a completed roof after obtaining an approved roof permit.  The customer wasnt willing to move forward and wait the necessary time to obtain her roof tile (which had to be custom ordered).  We still would like to complete her roof project

  The owner of the Company provided a refund to the customer ... Minus the Fee for the Approved Roof Permit.

  I purchased a condo in ******* which was Remodeled by ****. Heroic Construction back in April 2022 I sold my Home In ********* ******* and closed on that home June 25, 2022. I was not able to back out of this deal because I had no home my closing on this condo in Margate was June 28 two days before the closing. My title company did a title search and noticed that the city of Margate had code violations that were done on this unit two days before closing for doing a complete remodel without permits I had no choice to take this condo because I had no home with the stipulation that *********************** solutions would pull the permits and complete all necessary repairs that the city of Margate wanted and need it done to get the final permit process, finalized and completed, Ive been on top of **** July 1 when I move in August September, October, November and either **** will say Ill call you back never calls you back or h*** say Im busy Ill call you later never calls you back and now December 28 is the six months that **** from here works construction were supposed to pull permits fix everything and get my condo to pass for the city of Margate and its not done because of ***** experience and end desirable way he handles his business and lies to the customer

  This is completely FALSE!  My company did not remodel the condo.  The previous owner of the condo completed work without permits.  I was only contacted to potentially pull an after the fact permit for the work on the condo.  I never provided a contract for the work and was not interested in doing any after the fact work.

  Heroic Construction LED ME FOR 6 months and lied telling ME THE ***** THAT HE HEROIC CONSTRUCTION **** ***** THE PLANS ARE AT THE ARCHITECT THIS was told to my Relator and Me THE ***** SEVERAL TIMES if he did not want to do any work then WHY WOULD HEROIC CONSTRUCTION LIE TO ME THE ***** FOR 6 months that THERE IS A DELAY IN THE PLANS. THERE IS A DELAY IN THE PLANS.  ETC ETC. If you as a business owner telL ME THE ***** THAT THE PLANS ARE DEALAYED then only one can consume that you are doing the job !! **** the ***** OF HEROIC CONSTRUCTION WAS HERE TAKING PICTURES AND ***** SOME DRAWINGS he is a liar!!

  In May of 2022 I submitted an offer to purchase **********************, which was owned by Heroic Constructions LLC. The home is a home built in the ****s and was completely renovated by Heroic Construction. ************************* whom owned Heroic Constructions and also the seller of the house did the complete renovation and only opened permits for windows installations. Upon conducting inspection for the window the city noticed that other renovations were done and there were no open permits. The inspector indicated he verbally warned ******* to open permits. Upon returning for follow-up on windows inspection he noticed ******* still did not opened any permits. He was reported, but unfortunately I acquired the house and a week after closing the city placed violations on the house. I attempted various times to come to an agreement with ******* to rectify the situation, but he refused and told me to speak with his attorney. In speaking with the city of Greensacres they're very familiar with Heroic Construction as they tend to have the same issue with him conducting renovations without permits. As a license contractor he should be held to higher standard and conducting renovations in many occasions without permits is definitely violations of ethical standard set forth by the licensing board. He's also a license real estate agents so he definitely knows better and should be do better. My request is that he be held responsible for all the damages he continue to inflect on every day citizens.

  Heroic Construction was hired to do windows for this home.  Upon inspection of the completed window project.  The inspector with the city flagged the home for violations which were completed prior to Heroic Construction being hired to complete the windows.  
  
  Heroic Construction had no obligation to complete work that was done prior to us being hired to complete the window project.  The window project was completed.
